A video transcript The apostle Paul urged the Corinthians to keep their priorities in order, no matter whatever situation they found themselves, married, unmarried, rich, or poor, so as not to be so absorbed in human affairs. And why not? Because, as the apostle stated, “the scene of this world is changing.” That axiom is more relevant now than ever before. Just in the span [...]
A continuation of the Jeremiah series. When King Solomon officiated at the inauguration of the newly constructed Temple of Jehovah in Jerusalem, the God of Israel accepted the structure as His dwelling place by causing a dense cloud to envelop the sanctuary, which drove the priests out. Before the temple was built, God’s presence among the Israelites was symbolized by the portable tabernacle; however, with the [...]
I believe in Jehovah and Jesus his son, and I believe in all the things Jesus did when he was on earth I believe in the apostles that they lived and died for the truth, no man dies for a lie, but there are so many questions I have about the new world, I want to know how the billions who are resurrected will live, where [...]
Parousia is a Greek word used in the Christian Greek Scriptures. It appears 24 times in the so-called New Testament. The Greek word parousia literally means “being alongside.” Most translations have mistranslated parousia as “coming”—as in the second coming of Christ. The New World Translation consistently renders parousia as “presence.” That is because presence is in contrast with absence. For example, Paul wrote to the Philippians: [...]
As a teenager, I began to develop a deep-seated longing to know the truth; specifically, the truth about God. So, I began a search for the truth, much like the young Charles Taze Russell a century before me. Having attended Sunday school as a boy, I had always had a reverence for the Bible, and so I began reading the Gospels. I was also fascinated with [...]
TRANSCRIPT Well, hello YouTubers. I haven't given a Sunday talk in a while and today's not Sunday, but it's two days after Sunday, so that's close, right? I'm trying out a new microphone here. I had been using a shotgun mic on a boom connected to the camera and it was not really satisfactory and it would pick up I think more of the street [...]
This is part two of my response to the Watchtower’s Question from Readers column: When Will the Current Preaching Work End? I do not think most of Jehovah’s Witnesses, if any, appreciate or understand that the Watchtower has repudiated itself and contradicted the Bible. According to what the Watchtower has previously published, Babylon the Great fell in 1919. The call to “get out of her” has [...]
When will the current preaching work end? That is a question from a reader published in the August 2025 Watchtower. The answer is considered to be “new light,” so-called, as the Watchtower explains: Jesus stated: “This good news of the Kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.” (Matt. 24:14) The Greek [...]
Donald Trump has been called many things. It would be fair to say he is a Disrupter. Especially is that so when it comes to war and peace. Since his recent re-election, he has brought a critical Bible prophecy into focus. What prophecy? A prophecy most familiar to Jehovah’s Witnesses—“Whenever it is that they are saying, “Peace and security!” During the summer of 2024, there was [...]
I have always believed that the Bible is God’s word. There are no other reliable sources of divine truth. Of course, hundreds of millions of people identify as Christians and claim to believe the Bible. Obviously, merely believing that the Bible is a sacred book does not necessarily equate to understanding it. As public ministers, Jehovah’s Witnesses have firsthand experience trying to teach people the basic [...]
