About Robert King

For the past 20 years, I have staked out a place on the Internet in order to draw attention to Bible prophecy as it relates to the Second Coming of Jesus Christ and the falsehood of the Watchtower's 1914 doctrine.

Satan Keeps Transforming Himself into an Angel of Light

The leading article of the December, 2013 Watchtower entitled – Avoid Being Quickly Shaken from Your Reason – states in the opening paragraph:

Hoaxes, scams, and deception  are all too common in the present  system  of things. This should not surprise us. The Bible makes it plain that Satan the Devil is  an  accomplished deceiver,  and  he  is the  ruler of this system.

To be sure, Satan is an accomplished deceiver and the god and ruler of this present system, as the Scriptures reveal. However, we should not suppose that the old serpent has no influence over true Christians – and not just emanating from the outside world as the Society intimates, but from within the organization – from the highest level. Consider the scriptural precedents that follow.

The Unfinished Mystery

I would like to make a belated remark on the daily text published by the Watchtower Society for Thursday, August 12, 2010, which was based upon the following scripture: “Do not believe every inspired expression, but test the inspired expressions to see whether they originate with God.” —1 John 4:1. The Watchtower went on to comment: “In harmony with John’s counsel, we always encourage those we meet in the [...]

How do “my people” get out of Babylon the Great?

QUESTION: Hello, I have a question that has come up since Jehovah’s Witnesses have decided that the fall of Babylon the Great is in the future (as it is). Just after she falls verse 4 of Revelation 18 says: “Get out of her, MY PEOPLE if you do not want to share with her in her sins and do not want to receive part of her plagues.”

Does that not sound like a whole lot of people are going to come out of Babylon at that time? They are Jehovah’s people- those stumbled, newly interested, etc. THIS IS AFTER BABYLON FALLS!

Is God able to transfer one at death?

QUESTION: I've noted that you agree with the current understanding that all anointed ones must die, (as derived from the interpretation of Romans 6:3-5; & 1 Corinthians 15:35, 36, 44 provided in the Reasoning book p.312 par. 2.) However, this appears to contradict Paul’s words at 1 Corinthians 15:52, and 1 Thessalonians 4:17* (*footnote). Hence, I need answers to the following questions in order to make sense of that interpretation.

Is Jesus the rider of the white horse?

Question: If the horsemen haven't yet ridden in quick succession after the opening of the second seal, do you think the white rider can be simply governments who go off to 'conquest' which leads the rides of the other horsemen? Or do you think that the white horsemen can still apply to future coming of Jesus when he manifests himself in the future? If he did ride as a conqueror in 1914....what did that rider really conquer? He's still waiting for the green light from Jehovah to go subduing in the midst of his enemies. So who was the white rider?

A Tale of Two Cities

This article is part two of a response to a question regarding the meaning of the 14th chapter of Zechariah.

Because of its important role in the outworking of God’s purpose Jerusalem and Zion are used as symbols. Jehovah’s Witnesses are blessed to understand this important truth. However, the Watchtower Society has perverted the actual message of prophecy associated with the symbol of Jerusalem. Consider Zechariah 14:1. It states: “Look! There is a day coming, belonging to Jehovah, and the spoil of you will certainly be apportioned out in the midst of you. And I shall certainly gather all the nations against Jerusalem for the war; and the city will actually be captured and the houses be pillaged, and the women themselves will be raped. And half of the city must go forth into the exile; but as for the remaining ones of the people, they will not be cut off from the city.”

Will there be another world war?

QUESTION: Do you think there will be another world war, and if so, is it prophesied in the Bible?

______________________________________________

ANSWER: Yes. There is definitely going to be another world war – consider it to be the last of a three-part series that began in 1914.

Jehovah’s Witnesses have been deluded by the Watchtower into imagining that virtually all prophecy (except for a few trifling details) were fulfilled in the 1914-1919 period and that there cannot be another world war because it would only leave a few survivors – if any. Ironically, this delusion is, itself, also prophesied in the Scriptures.

What does 1 Corinthians 13:10 mean?

What does 1 Corinthians 10:13 mean?

______________________________________________

That verse reads: “No temptation has taken you except what is common to men. But God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear, but along with the temptation he will also make the way out in order for you to be able to endure it.”

In context Paul pointed out that the Israelites fell into temptation and incurred God’s displeasure in the wilderness. He used numerous examples of their unfaithfulness and God’s punishment upon them to stress to Christians that we cannot presume to always have God’s favor.
