“Happy is the one whose transgression is pardoned, whose sin is covered. Happy is the man whom Jehovah does not charge with guilt, in whose spirit there is no deceit.” – Psalms 32:1,2

All of us are on death row, awaiting our sentence to be carried out. That is because the wages of sin is death. So, if God grants us a full pardon, it means that the death sentence imposed upon us has been commuted.

Up until now, everyone who has died has paid the cost of being sinful. Paul explained that those who have died have been acquitted of their past sins. If they are resurrected, they will get a fresh start, a clean slate, as it were. However, there is a judgment day when everyone living will either be pardoned or found guilty. For anointed Christians, the presence of Christ will be judgment day. For example, Paul wrote: “Moreover, may the Lord cause you to increase, yes, to abound in love for one another and for all, just as we do for you, so that he may make your hearts firm, blameless in holiness before our God and Father at the presence of our Lord Jesus with all his holy ones.” – 1 Thessalonians 3:12-13

Notice, according to the apostle, the goal is to be found blameless in holiness “at the presence of our Lord.” Are you sure the presence of the Lord began in 1914? If not, doesn’t that mean that those who promote this falsehood are not blameless? How can the leadership of the Watchtower be found to have a spirit without deceit?

Here is another passage: “May the God of peace himself sanctify you completely. And may the spirit and soul and body of you brothers, sound in every respect, be preserved blameless at the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ. The one who is calling you is faithful, and he will surely do so.” – 1 Thessalonians 5:22,23

Again, notice that the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ is the end of the line when we are judged to be blameless or unfaithful.

Here’s one more: “So now, little children, remain in union with him, so that when he is made manifest we may have freeness of speech and not shrink away from him in shame at his presence.” – I John 2:28

What would cause a person to shrink away at his presence? Guilt. Think of Adam hiding from God in the bushes. Obviously, no such thing has occurred. That is because the presence has not begun.

Leading up to the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ, there will be world war—a war such as has never occurred before. The outbreak of global war, along with food shortages and pestilence and earthquakes here and there, will be the sign that he is near at the door. Such an outcome will devastate the Watchtower. Its 1914 invisible presence doctrine will crash like a highly raised wall.

The collapse of the Watchtower will allow sincere persons to repent of the falsehood they have promoted. The 32nd Psalm continues: “When I kept silent, my bones wasted away because of my groaning all day long.  For day and night your hand was heavy upon me. My strength evaporated like water in the dry summer heat. Finally I confessed my sin to you; I did not cover my error. I said: “I will confess my transgressions to Jehovah.” And you pardoned the error of my sins. This is why every loyal one will pray to you while you may yet be found. Then even the floodwaters will not reach him.”

David carried a heavy burden of guilt for his sin with Bathsheba and the murder of her husband. But David was also guilty of sin in the matter of ordering a census, which resulted in God punishing the nation for David’s sin. The leadership of the Watchtower is similarly blood guilty for having endorsed the vaccines. At some point, they will have to confess and repent. The fact that David said, “every loyal one will pray to you while you may be found,” implies there will be a time when God will no longer be available —when he will no longer pardon the error of our sins.

It is noteworthy that David said, “Then even the floodwaters will not reach him.” What flood is he speaking of? The Bible uses floodwaters to represent God’s destructive power.

The prophecy of Isaiah foretells that in connection with the coming of Christ, God will cause a metaphoric flood to flush out those who have concealed themselves in falsehood. It is evident to me that the leaders of the Watchtower are the boasters and rulers of God’s people at the time God will install the precious cornerstone in Zion. “And I will make justice the measuring line and righteousness the leveling tool. The hail will sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters will flood out the hiding place. Your covenant with Death will be dissolved, And your agreement with the Grave will not stand. When the raging flash flood passes through, You will be crushed by it. As often as it passes through, It will sweep you away, for it will pass through morning after morning, during the day and during the night. Only terror will make them understand what was heard.” — Isaiah 28:17-19

Terror will serve as an inducement for the loyal ones to confess their error before God.

That David, by inspiration, was really speaking to the future is evident by this statement: You are a hiding place for me; you will safeguard me from distress. You will surround me with joyful shouts of deliverance.” (Verse seven)

The time of distress and tribulation has not begun. Jesus said God will cut short the tribulation on account of the chosen ones. They will then know that God has pardoned them and delivered them from death. They will undoubtedly shout for joy for their deliverance.

Interestingly, Jehovah’s Witnesses have been conditioned to expect to receive life-saving instructions from the Watchtower —the very organization that has deluded them into imagining the presence of Christ is a thing of the past. In contrast, the inspired Psalmist speaks for God during the time of distress: “I will give you insight and instruct you in the way you should go. I will give you advice with my eye upon you. Do not become like a horse or a mule, without understanding, whose spiritedness must be controlled with a bridle or a halter before it will come near to you.”

We ought to be reminded of another passage in Isaiah, where God says: “Though Jehovah will give you bread in the form of distress and water in the form of oppression, your Grand Instructor will no longer hide himself, and you will see your Grand Instructor with your own eyes. And your own ears will hear a word behind you saying, “This is the way. Walk in it,” in case you should go to the right or in case you should go to the left.” — Isaiah 30:20-21

Laughably, the Watchtower absurdly claims that we hear God’s voice behind us simply by reading the Bible since it was written back in time. If that were the true interpretation, though, how is it that God will no longer hide himself, and we will see our Grand Instructor with our own eyes?

The Watchtower allows God no voice other than what comes through those who call themselves God’s earthly mouthpiece. Contrary to this fiction, we may expect Jesus —the great teacher and Wonderful Counselor —to give us personal advice and instructions during his presence. Those instructions really will be life-saving!

The Psalm concludes: Many are the pains of the wicked; but the one trusting in Jehovah is surrounded by His loyal love. Rejoice in Jehovah and be joyful, you righteous ones; shout joyfully, all you who are upright in heart.”
