There is no indication that Jehovah ever actively intervened to save David. David was a warrior and could defend himself. Even so, the 35th Psalm opens with these words: “O Jehovah, defend my case against my opposers; fight against those who fight against me. Take up your buckler and large shield, and rise up to my defense. Lift up your spear and battle-ax against my pursuers. Say to me: “I am your salvation.”
The real battle has not begun. That is because the second coming of the greater David has not occurred. Yes, like David, his human forefather, the resurrected Jesus is a warrior too. Upon his return, Revelation depicts Christ bearing a bow used to shoot arrows. Further on in Revelation, the Word is depicted bearing a sword with blood spattered on his garment.
The return of Christ will be the culmination of the enmity that began in Eden. All of the parties involved will fight in a decisive clash—the serpent and his seed against Christ and the remaining offspring of the woman.
Just as Judas was a trusted apostle, Christ’s enemies will exist within his congregation. The inspired Psalmist goes on to say: “May they become like chaff in the wind; may Jehovah’s angel drive them away. May their path be dark and slippery as Jehovah’s angel pursues them. For without cause they have hidden a net to trap me; without cause they have dug a pit for me. May disaster come upon him by surprise; may the net that he hid catch him; may he fall into it and be destroyed.”
Jesus explained that the harvest is a conclusion of the system of things. The angels will be directly involved in removing those agents of the Devil who comprise a synagogue of Satan, who claim they are “Jews” but who are lying. These are like rocks below the waterline, elders who meet and feast together with Jehovah’s unsuspecting sheep.
The curse that David issued in his Psalm will be fulfilled upon them, as Jude states they are “waterless clouds carried here and there by the wind; fruitless trees in late autumn, having died twice and having been uprooted; wild waves of the sea that cast up the foam of their own shame; stars with no set course, for which the blackest darkness stands reserved forever.”
What is the trap they have hidden in order to ensnare those in union with Christ?
Through the Jewish religious establishment, Judas indirectly conspired with the Romans. The Roman Empire was the head of the beast then. In prayer, Jesus referred to Judas as the son of destruction. Paul described the man of lawlessness as the son of destruction. The man of lawlessness is said to stand in opposition. Satan is the ultimate opposer of God. How has the man of lawlessness set a net to ensnare the unwary? By means of the Watchtower’s secret alliance with the United Nations—the presumptive eighth king that is destined to spring from the seven-headed beast—the trap is set to spring.
Who can deny that Jehovah’s Witnesses have been slyly conditioned to obey the Watchtower’s every dictate? We saw that with the pandemic. Although the Governing Body claimed that their advice was unique and different from the world under Satan’s control, the fact is, the Governing Body read off the same script provided by the UN’s World Health Organization and the pharmaceutical cartel. The Governing Body even bamboozled JWs to comply by saying it was a Christian’s duty to obey the superior authorities—implying that the UN is the superior authority even though it has no authority over sovereign nations and individuals.
But even if the UN had authority, if the advice given by the Governing Body uniquely emanated from Jehovah God, why would it also be necessary for JWs to obey the superior authorities? Is that not a back-handed admission of the true source of the guidance the Watchtower claimed came straight down from heaven?
Just consider the lying drivel in the opening statement of the daily text for April 7th, 2025:
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Jehovah’s Witnesses who listened to the guidance given by our organization avoided the undue anxieties experienced by those who listened to misleading information.
What might the “misleading information” be that some listened to? They do not say. But, since the social platforms and search engines shadow-banned and de-platformed experts who warned against the dangers of the experimental mRNA injections, we may be certain that the Watchtower was in lockstep with the genocidal COVID-19 tyrants. Sadly, many who listened to the “guidance” given by the Watchtower organization are no longer in the land of the living.
Jesus forewarned anointed Christians to be on guard, and as soon as they see the disgusting thing standing where it ought not, they must leave at once. Leave what? The Watchtower. That is the trap. But because Jehovah’s Witnesses have been conditioned to expect to receive life-saving instructions during the tribulation, many will not escape the trap but be misled into obeying the beast that will stand in opposition to the incoming Kingdom of Christ. Did Jesus not forewarn us that false prophets would arise and mislead many? We have had a preview of the future with the Watchtower’s Covid response.
It didn’t end well for Judas and the man of lawlessness and the synagogue of Satan will have a similar outcome. May Jehovah’s angel push them into the blackest darkness reserved for them.
Jesus also forewarned his disciples that during the conclusion, many will stumble and hate and betray one another, and “brother will deliver brother over to death, and a father a child, and children will rise up against parents and have them put to death.”
Jehovah’s Witnesses have been deluded into imagining that the time of the end began in 1914. The Watchtower often implies that all the aspects of the sign are in evidence. But how can anyone honestly make such a claim? Have the chosen been thrown from the synagogues and made to stand before governors and kings? Has brother handed over brother to be put to death? Honesty provides the correct answer.
David’s 35th Psalm speaks to the outcome Jesus foretold: “But when they were ill, I clothed myself with sackcloth; I afflicted myself by fasting, and when my prayer would return unanswered, I walked about mourning as for a friend or a brother of mine; I bowed down in sorrow, like one mourning for his mother. But when I stumbled, they rejoiced and gathered together; they gathered together to strike me down in ambush; they tore me to pieces and did not keep silent. The ungodly scornfully mock me, they grind their teeth against me.” (13-16)
It suits God’s purpose to allow time for people to reveal what is in their hearts. When under pressure, people do that very thing—reveal what is in their hearts. The collapse of this system and the imposition of global tyranny will be like a pressure cooker. That is when the faithless and ungodly will gather together under Satan’s malevolent spirit to attack those who are loyal to God.
David’s plea to God is inspired by the spirit that sees the finale in the days ahead: “O Jehovah, how long will you just look on? Rescue me from their attacks, my precious life from the young lions. Then I will give thanks to you in the great congregation; I will praise you among the throngs of people.”
Christ warring against his enemies will be something to behold.
