Dear Brothers, Overseers:

Thank you for taking the time to read this message. At least you have read the first sentence. I exhort you in all sincerity to continue reading.

Along with the book and brochure now in your possession, this Kingdom Bulletin is being widely distributed among the leadership of Jehovah’s Witnesses and posted on the Internet.

First, I wish to inform you that although I was disfellowshipped in 2005 from the Eight Mile Congregation in Detroit, Michigan, for having originally published this information, I am not a disgruntled exJW with an axe to grind. On the contrary, I unreservedly believe that the Watchtower is Jehovah’s organization and that Jehovah’s Witnesses are doing the work that Christ foretold would be done before the Son of man comes like a thief in the night. However, it is for this very reason—because of our special relationship with the sacred name of God—that there is greater accountability. The principle of accountability was established long ago when Israel was in a covenant relationship with Jehovah God. That is why God said: “You alone I have known out of all the families of the earth. That is why I will call you to account for all your errors.” – Amos 3:2

If we accept the Governing Body’s claim of being the faithful and discreet slave, we must also acknowledge the words of the master who appointed certain slaves to feed his domestics in his absence. What words?

In the 12th chapter of Luke, Jesus provided more details regarding the judgment of the faithful and not-so-faithful slaves, both of whom were put in charge: “Then that slave who understood the will of his master but did not get ready or do what he asked will be beaten with many strokes. But the one who did not understand and yet did things deserving of strokes will be beaten with few. Indeed, everyone to whom much was given, much will be demanded of him, and the one who was put in charge of much will have more than usual demanded of him.” – Luke 12:47,48

Please note that there are two classes of slaves, both of which are appointed to provide food at the proper time, and both slaves will be punished for their errors, even the slave ultimately judged to have been faithful and discreet. The only difference is the degree to which they are punished based upon their motives, which only the Lord can discern. Not surprisingly, the Watchtower has never explained or even commented on this span of scripture, since it shows the inappropriateness of the Governing Body declaring itself to be the faithful and discreet slave. Obviously, that is why Jesus posed it in the form of a question, as in: “Who really is the faithful and discreet slave…?” Appointed, yes, but it is yet to be determined who has been faithful to their office.

Now, I wish to draw your attention to the very next comment Jesus made after explaining the judgment of the slaves. The Lord said, “I came to start a fire on the earth, and what more is there for me to wish if it has already been lit?” The question is: Has the fire already been lit? And what are the ramifications if it has not?

In context, Jesus is speaking to his little flock who will be on earth when he comes again. Note how many times Jesus spoke of his coming in this span: “Be dressed and ready and have your lamps burning, and you should be like men waiting for their master to return from the marriage, so when he comes and knocks, they may at once open to him. Happy are those slaves whom the master, on coming, finds watching! Truly I say to you, he will dress himself for service and have them recline at the table and will come alongside and minister to them. And if he comes in the second watch, even if in the third, and finds them ready, happy are they! But know this, if the householder had known at what hour the thief would come, he would not have let his house be broken into. You also, keep ready, because at an hour that you do not think likely, the Son of man is coming.” (35-40)

It is especially noteworthy that Jesus said he would “come alongside” and minister to the worthy. You surely know that the Greek word “parousia” literally means to come alongside. How is it that Jehovah’s Witnesses have been convinced that the parousia has already begun before the Son of man has come? Am I an enemy because I point out this obvious truth?

When I was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1977, and throughout the time I served as an elder and an on-and-off regular pioneer, I never imagined I would find myself at odds with the Watchtower. I was a “Society man” through and through, as the saying goes.

But in October 1996, out of the blue, I experienced a rebirth, an anointing that, in my case, inexplicably, suddenly impelled me to read the Bible for hours every day—specifically, the Hebrew prophecies. It is not something that most of God’s people can relate to. For many months, I was obsessively immersed in the prophetic books —reading them over and over to verify in my own mind what I was perceiving. The spirit gradually revealed to me, among many other things, that Jesus did not begin ruling in his Kingdom in 1914, nor has the parousia begun. Most profoundly, the parousia will not be invisible. The chosen will see Christ when he is manifest. This is not an insignificant detail. It is the fire that Christ is yet to light from which the chosen will emerge. Then the revealing of the sons of God will take place.

Over the years, I have presented these things to the Watchtower, but they are wholly unreceptive. They are like the householder who brushes you off the doorstep, telling you they are not interested or that they have their own religion. Except in my case, there has never been any response. But there is a reason why the Governing Body is not interested. Does not the scripture say of them: “For Jehovah has poured a spirit of deep sleep on you; He has closed your eyes, the prophets, and he has covered your heads, the visionaries” – Isaiah 29:10

Having ultimately discerned that it is Jehovah’s will that I make these things known, the results of my months-long, Bible-reading marathon and subsequent ongoing studies in the Scriptures are published in this work: Jehovah Has Become King.

I know how hard it is for Jehovah’s Witnesses to comprehend, given that 1914 is the very cornerstone of the Watchtower’s doctrine. Recognizing such an error can be overwhelming. How could Jehovah’s organization be so monumentally wrong? Why would Christ allow his appointed slave to feed his people lies concerning something as important as the return of Christ? Merely contemplating such a thing is mind-jarring and potentially faith-shattering. But there is a reason why God has permitted it, and you will ultimately be judged whether you accept the truth when it is revealed or love the lie you have been taught.

The prophecies reveal that it is Jehovah’s will to allow for an operation of Satan to go to those who otherwise know the truth in order to test their love of the truth when the Son of man arrives and lights the fire. This satanic delusion has been at work, undetected, from the very beginning of the Bible Students movement. These things are explained in detail in the book, including the folly of attaching the seven times of Nebuchadnezzar’s madness to the appointed times for the nations to trample Jerusalem.

Before you reject this message out of hand, were you aware that the Watchtower used to teach that an invisible parousia began in 1874 and the Kingdom came to power in 1878? Originally, 1914 was supposed to be the culmination—anarchy, Armageddon. It was not until around 1930 that the parousia and Christ’s return were shifted to 1914. And just to refresh your memory of theocratic history, nothing turned out as C.T. Russell had predicted. Instead of being raptured, Russell unexpectedly died on Halloween, 1916. His successor, J.F. Rutherford, was briefly imprisoned, and when the work was revived in 1919, only a small fraction of the Bible Students were willing to go forward. A massive shakeout and shifting had taken place.

But the question is: Ought the world-shaking return of Christ be so easily adjusted from this date to another? If Jesus became King in 1914, why did it take the Bible Students another decade to become aware of it? The apostle’s expression, “artfully contrived false stories,” comes to mind.

Knowing your reluctance to read what you have been conditioned to perceive as apostate material, I appeal to you here in this brief letter to consider a few pertinent facts. After all, as an elder and teacher, you are all obligated to make sure of all things and to test the seemingly “inspired expressions” to determine if they originate with the God of truth. Why ought the Watchtower’s questionable and outright specious interpretations of prophecy be exempt from serious scrutiny?

And to make the point clearer, please consider the warning of the apostle, who wrote: “However, there also came to be false prophets among the people, as there will also be false teachers among you.” – 2 Peter 2:1

Please note that the apostle did not say the false teachers were outside the congregation. He plainly said there will be false teachers among you. Jude is even more explicit, saying that treacherous shepherds lurk among unsuspecting Christians like rocks below the waterline. And both Peter and Jude indicate that these apostate elders and teachers will be among you when the judgment takes place.

“NOW LEARN THE ILLUSTRATION FROM THE FIG TREE”

When Jesus outlined all the things to occur during the conclusion, he summed it up with a simple illustration, saying: “Now learn this illustration from the fig tree: Just as soon as its young branch grows tender and sprouts its leaves, you know that summer is near. Likewise also you, when you see all these things, know that he is near at the doors.”

Are we to believe that the fig tree first blossomed 112 years ago, and all the while generations have come and gone, and still no “summer”? Is it not more reasonable to expect the metaphoric fig tree to sprout the first leaves of summer in the near future? After all, even worldly observers are warning of the seemingly unalterable march toward world war. Is there not also talk of food shortages due to supply chain disruptions and drought? And what about those dozens of bio-weapons labs the Anglo beast is running?  Are you awake and watching or are you wholly dependent on the Watchtower to tell you what’s coming? Is it not our individual responsibility to keep on the watch?

I ask these questions because it seems the Watchtower’s appointed watchmen have fallen asleep. Does not the parable of the ten virgins say they all fell asleep prior to the shout in the dead of night heralding the Lord’s coming?

Please note that Jesus said, “when you see all these things.” What things? All the things Jesus said are destined to occur, namely, war, food shortages, pandemics, and great earthquakes.

But here is a question that you need to seriously consider: Have you personally seen any of these things? Were you alive in 1914 to witness the outbreak of the Great War? Did you experience the horrific Spanish Flu contagion? Unless you are the record-holder as the world’s oldest living person, you have not. But Jesus said, “When you see all these things.”

Here is another question to ponder: Have you seen men become faint with fear because of the roaring of the sea and fearful sights in the heavens because the powers of the heavens have been shaken? Although the Watchtower now claims that global warming is making people faint in fright, sound reasoning suggests this cannot possibly be the fulfillment of Christ’s words. It is something we have not seen.

What about the preaching work, you ask? Jesus said the good news of the Kingdom will be preached in all the earth, and then the end will come. Doesn’t that mean that the time of the end began in 1914, which, over the course of these 112 years, the Watchtower has sponsored the work of preaching and teaching? Bluntly, no. It does not.

In the 13th chapter of Mark, Jesus stated that the good news will be preached first. First, before what? Here is what Jesus said: “As for you, look out for yourselves. People will hand you over to local courts, and you will be beaten in synagogues and be put on the stand before governors and kings for my sake, for a witness to them. Also, in all the nations, the good news has to be preached first. And when they are taking you to hand you over, do not be anxious beforehand about what to say; but whatever is given you in that hour, say this, for you are not the ones speaking, but the holy spirit is.”

Jesus did not indicate that the preaching work would take place during war and tribulation. We are living during a time of peace. Peace has not been taken from the earth. Furthermore, the persecution of the chosen will take place after Jesus comes and differentiates the faithful slave and the wicked slave. Jesus will no longer be at the door then. He will have gone into the house to minister to the chosen. Have you seen brothers beaten in the Kingdom Halls and handed over to local courts and hauled before governors and kings to give them a witness? If so, please provide details.

Please also take note that the Governing Body has assured Jehovah’s Witnesses that there cannot be another world war. Under the heading of the Last Days, the Reasoning from the Scriptures minister’s handbook claims that another world war would undoubtedly involve weapons of mass destruction, which could potentially eliminate the human race and make the earth uninhabitable, and so, they reason, God will not allow it. And this is true. They will use weapons of mass destruction. However, you are surely familiar with what Jesus said regarding the great tribulation —a tribulation unlike any catastrophe that has ever befallen mankind or ever will again. Concerning this coming cataclysm, doubtless you are familiar with these words of the Lord, “In fact, unless those days were cut short, no flesh would be saved; but on account of the chosen ones those days will be cut short.”

No doubt you have also read many statements by the Watchtower regarding the great tribulation beginning when the wild beast turns upon Babylon the Great. While there is no question that Revelation reveals the ultimate destiny of false religion, I challenge any knowledgeable Christian to provide scriptural support for the Watchtower’s oft-repeated assertion that the tribulation will begin when the beast turns upon the prostitute of Babylon and devours her.

The reason I pose that challenge is because the Watchtower has never provided any scriptural support, not so much as a single verse. On the contrary, Revelation indicates that the judgment of Babylon is an immediate prelude to the Lamb’s marriage and Armageddon. Are you not obligated as a teacher who will ultimately face heavier judgment to confirm that what you teach is true? Over the past quarter of a century of my work, no JW has ever answered the challenge, and that includes the Governing Body. It is sheer organizational dogma. If not, simply ask yourself: If the great tribulation is directed at Babylon the Great, why will divine intervention be necessary to cut short the tribulation so as to spare mankind from extinction? Again, in all of my years of presenting these issues to the leadership of the Watchtower, no one has ever provided a sensible answer. Why is that? Why is it that the truth teller is regarded as an apostate? Be assured: just because everyone is united in believing the same falsehoods does not mean they will be protected when reality intervenes.

No doubt the reason the Governing Body discounts a future war involving nuclear weapons is because it is unthinkable. But given the fact that Satan and his murderous angels have not yet been hurled down and gone off in a great rage to bring woe to mankind, the real reason God will cut short the tribulation is to prevent nuclear annihilation —the very thing the Watchtower claims God will never allow to even begin, negating divine intervention to cut it short.

It is my hope that a few elders might dare to venture into the prophecies regardless of the Watchtower’s prohibition of it and examine the things the Revealer of Secrets has now made public.

Please know that at some point, surely soon, everything is going to blow up —just like in 1914. Jesus has forewarned that many will stumble, hate one another, and betray one another. Be assured that the Lord was not speaking of unbelievers. The facture of theocratic unity is among “all these things” that are destined to occur.

As an elder —a shepherd who is responsible for the lives of Jehovah’s sheep in your congregation —it is my hope that this information will equip you to be able to explain why these things are happening when the time of the end begins, and confusion reigns. Keep in mind, it is Jesus who will light the fire. It is the fire about which Paul wrote: “Now if anyone builds on the foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or straw, each one’s work will be shown for what it is, for the day will show it up, because it will be revealed by means of fire, and the fire itself will prove what sort of work each one has built. If anyone’s work that he has built on it remains, he will receive a reward; if anyone’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss, but he himself will be saved; yet, if so, it will be as through fire.”
