Watchtower Changes Its Pedophile Policy

KINGDOM BULLETIN #12 Over the course of the past 15 years the Watchtower has come under increasing scrutiny regarding child sexual abuse among Jehovah’s Witnesses. There have been numerous high profile lawsuits brought against elders and the Watchtower corporation, multi-million dollar judgments, capped in 2015 with the Royal Australian Commission holding a public inquiry and [...]

KINGDOM BULLETIN #10

"The Days Are Near and Every Vision Will Take Place" Ezekiel 12:23 As all of Jehovah’s Witnesses know, and many others besides, the Watchtower pinpoints 1914 as the critical year when God’s Kingdom began ruling the world. In one way or another nearly all Bible prophecies have been interpreted in relation to that date. As an [...]

JUDGMENT OF THE HOUSE OF GOD - WHEN DOES IT BEGIN? KINGDOM BULLETIN #5

Bethel: Is It Later Than You Think? The 2012 Special Talk posed an interesting question for all to ponder: Is it later than you think? The irony, though, is that the question is particularly relevant for the Governing Body and Bethel leadership of Jehovah’s Witnesses to consider themselves. Indeed, although most of Jehovah’s Witnesses will dismiss [...]

The Ax Is Already Lying at the Root! The May 15, 2012, study article of the Watchtower states on page 26: “For instance, we need to guard against succumbing to apostasy, a sin that would make us unfit to glorify God. (Deut. 13:6:9) Let us therefore have nothing to do with apostates or anyone who [...]

KINGDOM BULLETIN #2

"Say to Those Plastering..." It has now been almost a century since Charles Taze Russell stood before his fellow Bethelites and declared the Gentile times to have ended. Ever since then the Watchtower Society has interpreted nearly all prophecy as having some sort of fulfillment in the 1914-1919 period, with a few exceptions. As the [...]

THE PERFECT STORM A “perfect storm” scenario of apocalyptic proportions is brewing – soon to spawn the greatest catastrophe in human history. That most people are oblivious to the looming calamity or that some may ridicule the prophecies that foretell it, or even the mere suggestion that all is not as it seems, is by [...]

A Conspiracy of Silence Continues

As of May the 10th the mainstream media is beginning to cover the Silentlambs’ press release publicizing the Watchtower’s recent million-dollar payout to 16 victims of child sexual abuse. Evidently the legal department felt that they did not have a very strong case going into court, and so as shrewd lawyers often do they advised [...]

THE WALL MUST FALL

It is a weighty thing to speak and teach in the name of Jehovah, which is why the inspired letter of James cautions Christian men that not many should become teachers... "knowing that we shall receive heavier judgment." But the sobering question posed here is: If teachers within the congregations will unavoidably receive a heavier [...]

An Open Letter to the Watchtower Society

Governing Body (2009)  Bethel has occasionally produced articles counseling Jehovah’s Witnesses on the need for them to be quick to apologize when they may cause offense.  But what about the Watchtower? Has it ever apologized?  Personally, I’m fairly familiar with everything the Watchtower has published over the years and I am not aware [...]

Conspiracy of silence soon to end

This is an open letter to Jehovah’s Witnesses and the Watchtower Society. It was originally published  in May, 2006, and mailed directly to thousands of congregations in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. It was a senseless and brutal crime. A young bride was viciously gang-raped and left to die – murdered. An [...]

Is it Time to Say “We Are Sorry”?

Dear Brothers,  The July 1st, 2004, Watchtower magazine expresses the Governing Body's sadness and concern for the many of our brothers and sisters who have become "spiritually weak" and inactive in recent years. The 11th paragraph on page 17 states: It saddens us, however, to notice that some of our fellow believers have grown [...]

An Open Letter to Jehovah’s Witnesses

In 2004 variations of this letter were sent to 101 branch offices of the Watchtower and to over 6,000 congregations in the United States, Canada, New Zealand, Australia and the United Kingdom. I also handed a copy to my local elders, informing them I was publicly accusing the Watchtower Society of apostasy. Dear Reader: Due [...]
