(00:02): You know, there is such a thing as truth. Remember Pontius Pilate when he was examining Jesus, and um, he asked Jesus, well, what is truth? Wasn't really a question, but, uh, an expression of doubt. But there is a truth. For example, there's such a thing as male and female. No one ever questioned that until <laugh> a few years ago. And now [...]
“And he will go back to his land with a great amount of goods, and his heart will be against the holy covenant. He will act effectively and go back to his land." (Dan 11:28) Before considering the developments associated with Daniel 11:28, we left off with the king of the north plotting out schemes against his rival and the two kings mustering their armies for [...]
Few people are aware of the many intrigues that have gone on behind the headlines of world affairs over the past 150 years emanating from the British Empire and the City of London. Even fewer are aware that the prophecy of Daniel foretold the very events that have shaped our modern world. Portions of this presentation are taken from Jehovah Has Become King http://jehovah-is-king.com/king-north/ There's [...]
In part one, we briefly considered how the Kings of the North and South originated with the breakup of the empire Alexander the Great had established when he unexpectedly died in 331 BCE. Originally, the empire fragmented into four regions. Then, it was consolidated into two. In time, the Roman Empire swallowed up both Syria and Egypt, which had been the prophetic Kings of the North and South, [...]
Three years ago, the Watchtower revised its interpretation of the fascinating prophecy of Daniel regarding the kings of the north and south. While providing considerable insight into the historical developments from Alexander the Great to Jesus Christ, the Watchtower now claims that there was no king of the north or south for nearly 2,000 years! The prophetic kings supposedly only reappeared when Charles Taze Russell [...]
Continuing on with our discussion of Isaiah, I mentioned in a previous video that I'm refreshing and updating articles on the Watchmen's Post, that I'd written some 10 years ago. And I thought I'd add a little video commentary and color to them as part of the updating. So, anyway, we're considering the third and fourth chapters of Isaiah. And I know I've mentioned this [...]
Hello everyone. It's been a few months since my last video. I thought I would entertain a question from a reader or viewer. He says: Robert by the time the great tribulation has been cut short and ended. Do you believe, that the JW organization will have fully been shut down and overrun by that stage? Or will the overrunning and shutdown occur after the [...]
The other day, I spoke about Isaiah in the first chapter. And hopefully, as time allows, we'll go through the whole book of Isaiah. But before going to the second chapter, I wanted to add a couple of thoughts to the commentary on the first chapter. In verse 4, he says: They've treated the Holy One of Israel with disrespect. In fact it says they've abandoned [...]
Well, the moment has arrived. This is it! At least that's what Anthony Morris said at the 2018 annual meeting. And that was a theme of his talk introducing the new king of the north, which as you probably know, turned out to be the old king of the north. It's kind of like that old rock song: 'meet the new boss same as the [...]
Well, someone asked me to give a presentation on the king of the north and the king of the south. I have to say I've been intending to do a documentary with images and music and all of that. And I have to say it's a little bit of an intimidating project, for the simple reason that the prophecy of the king of the north [...]
