Hello everyone. Welcome to another episode of Jehovah’s Watchman. This program was recorded for the first week of October, 2024. In fact, it is October the first and it’s starting off with a bang. Apparently, Israel is invading Lebanon after weeks of bombardment and exploding pagers. Now the tanks are rolling in and I’m just looking at an article saying that the United States expects Iran to fire ballistic missiles at Israel imminently. Somebody wants to get a hot war going, and it looks like they might get it. They almost had it a few weeks ago. The British Prime Minister came to Washington DC. It was expected to be a formality that President Biden would sign off on allowing Ukraine to use NATO missiles to strike deep into Russia, maybe hitting Moscow and St. Petersburg. But of course, Putin said that that would be considered a declaration of war by the United States and Britain because the missiles cannot be fired unless American technicians are directly involved with giving the launch codes and GPS and all of that. So they avoided that. And then what happened a few days later? The pager terrorism erupted in Lebanon.

Besides the looming war, of course, I should mention that the United States is sending soldiers to the Middle East because they’re committed to defending Israel. Whatever they do, it sounds like really a trap, and I’m sure it is. I mean, it is so crazy what’s happening in the United States, and Europe for that matter. But here they have this colossal disaster in the Appalachians, Tennessee, and the Eastern part of North Carolina in particular. Usually, when those types of disasters occur, the National Guard is on hand. Well, guess where the Tennessee National Guard is? Last week they were dispatched to the Middle East. Go figure that one out. And here, the US administration has said that they’re not giving any help to this. I mean, some of the images I’ve seen on X are horrific. Entire towns have been washed away, and over a thousand people are missing.

Always, the federal government gets involved, declares a national disaster, and frees up federal funds and sends FEMA and but that’s not happening now. For some reason, everything is kind of upside down. And guess what else is happening today? The longshoremen strike begins, which shuts down ports from Maine all the way to Florida, Texas. I believe that is going to have a huge impact unless it is settled very quickly. The US government could intervene, but apparently, they want as much chaos and misery as possible.  I’ve been a student of the Bible for many years and a student of the Watchtower as well. So I’m pretty familiar with what they teach and I’ve always had an interest in prophecy. As you know, Jehovah’s Witnesses believe that 1914 was the beginning of the end, the time of the end, the conclusion of the system, the final part of the days and the last days.

They are all expressions that refer to the same period of time —the closing out of Satan’s world and the beginning of the new world. Well, there is a prophecy in the 11th chapter of Daniel regarding the king of the north and the king of the south, and it chronicles their long-running struggle against each other that began back after the Alexandrian Empire broke up into four parts. Anyway, during the time of the end in verse 40, Daniel 11:40, it says that the king of the south will engage with him in a pushing, and the king of the north will storm and flood over and subjugate the nations. And the Watchtower claims that the time of the end, as I say, began in 1914. So that means that this pushing must have taken place. Then, although they’re not really clear on the details, when they wrote their first commentary on the book of Daniel in 1958, I believe it was, they said that there was a push between the communist Soviet Union and the American Anglo-American king of the South Soviet Union —their king of the North, and there was a pushing going on, and that was the Cold War. Okay, that sounded plausible. Well, after the Soviet Union collapsed, there was a long period, maybe 20 years, and the Watchtower said, we don’t know who the king of the North is. And then after Russia banned Jehovah’s Witnesses, then they said, well, Russia’s the new king of the north. And the pushing continues.

It’s comical. The pushing is a one-time event, my friends. And it leads to a reaction from the King of the North that results in this flood, an invasionary force that floods over and overwhelms the king of the south. The pushing doesn’t transpire over a century. That is just so unreasonable. It’s nonsensical. And another thing that is clearly unscriptural is that the king of the South is on hand when Michael stands up, because anyone that can read can see that there is only a single king of the north who comes all the way to his end and finds that there is no helper for him. No mention of the king of the south. Is that an oversight on God’s part so the Watchtower has to embellish?

That is an artificial fabrication. Doesn’t it say in Ezekiel that Jehovah says, you fabricate your own prophecies? Well, that’s an example. The original king of the South was Egypt, and it was absorbed by the king of the north when the king of the north became Rome. For that reason, the king of the south is called Egypt. In that passage, about the time of the end, Egypt becomes subjugated. The king of the north will rule over the hidden treasures of Egypt, which the Watchtower claims took place during the Cold War. The Soviet Union dominated the American financial Treasury because of the arms race. And that, I’m sorry to say, is also nonsensical. The exact opposite took place. The United States outspent the Soviet Union, and the Soviet Union went bankrupt and dissolved. Well, the reason I bring this up is because with all of this stuff going on and this political turmoil, there were elections in Austria and other nations like Slovakia and Hungary. They’re pushing back against this liberal new world order that wants war, war, war, and austerity and shut down the farmers. And we have too many people and all of that, there is a political uprising and people are ready to overturn this order. And it’s, of course, happening in the United States with the conservatives banding together behind their candidate, of course, Donald Trump.

But it seems to me that there is this pushing, and if it’s not occurring now, it will in the near future, because something has to give. And I think many of you will agree with that. It is like we’re being subjected to a pressure cooker, this longshoreman strike. I mean, if it goes on, it is going to create all kinds of problems because in the United States, they don’t make anything anymore of any consequence. I mean, even the automobiles that come out of Detroit, a lot of the parts are manufactured somewhere else and just assembled here. But over the last 50 years, the United States has de-industrialized to such an extent that the United States cannot exist without imports. The main export from the United States: Do you know what it is? It’s money, because the dollar is the world’s reserve currency. The United States has just been able to print money and other nations accept it, and we get the goods from them, and they take this dollar and it’s worked okay, but now it’s not working so well anymore.

(12:46):
And there’s a really, really big problem for the United States, for the dollar for Americans who live in this country. The problem is that this month, October is an interesting month. This month is the BRICS annual conference, and this year it’s chaired by Vladimir Putin. And there’s been a lot of talk about de-dollarization and supposedly the BRICS are going to roll out their own currency, and it’s supposed to be backed by 40% gold and other commodities, unlike the dollar, which is not backed by anything, it’s fiat paper and digits, whatever. It used to be backed by gold. But President Nixon, back in 1971, decreed that the dollar was decoupling from gold. That was the end of the so-called Bretton Wood System that was set up after World War II. And ever since then, speculators have been able to make fortunes by betting on one currency against the other and the carry trade and all of the derivatives based on that.

(14:20):
But because the values of currencies float, they call it floating exchange; they float in their relative value compared to other currencies. It’s a speculator’s dream, but it’s not so good for doing business because people that do business with other countries, you have to know what the exchange rate is going to be a year from now or two years from now when contracts come due and so forth. So they have to buy hedges and insurance and derivatives and all that. It’s an entire business of just money. And that’s why I say the United States, that’s their export, the dollar, and that is coming to an end, and that is why they’re pushing for war, pushing for war with Russia, pushing for war with China. There are Americans in Taiwan teaching the Taiwanese how to use American weapons to fight against China. And, of course, we see what’s happening in the Middle East. So the fuse is lit. I mean, something will explode and it’s not years away.

But the good news is I believe that will be the genuine time of the end. And the time of the end, I promise you, doesn’t go on for decades or over a century. In Revelation, we’re told that when Satan and his angels are hurled down from heaven to the earth, that he has great anger knowing that he has a short period of time. How does Satan know he has a short period of time? What is that short period of time? Does he know something we don’t? No, actually the Devil is a Bible student. You might say he’s had a long time to study it was being written and compiled and he knows what it says and knows what it means, and he’s able to put his own twist on it. So when we’re told by the Scriptures that Satan knows he has a short period of time, we should ask, how does he know that?

Did God tell him or does he kind of assume that? Well, again, he knows what the Bible says. And in that same 12th chapter of Revelation, when the Devil is thrown down, he goes off to war against those who serve Jehovah and he wars against them for 1,260 days. Well, we’re also told that after the beast suffers a mortal head wound and then revives, it goes off to war against the holy ones for 42 months, 1,260 days. That my friends is the short period of time. Now, obviously, Satan is thrown down sometime before that, and then he causes this beast to suffer this seemingly mortal wound, the head of the beast being the Anglo-American dual-world power. So what we are seeing now, and it’s being observed by people who don’t know anything about Bible prophecy, they can see that it appears as if the United States is being deliberately destroyed and perhaps overthrown. When you have a former Secretary of State and a former presidential candidate, John Kerry, talking before the World Economic Forum, saying that the First Amendment to the Constitution is a hindrance and a problem… So free speech is a problem to these tyrants who want to set up this new world order, this banker’s global dictatorship, and that’s where they’re going and they’re determined to destroy the United States. We see it happening. And so I don’t think I am out of place to say that the time of the end is about to begin this pushing the United States is on the ropes, and now it’s being lured into a war that it cannot win, and no one intends for it to win, but only to be taken down, carved up and sold off.

Well, I mentioned that the Devil knows how long his short period of time is. Here’s a little interesting factoid: when the demons were speaking with Jesus through their proxies, through the humans that they possessed, on one occasion, a demon-possessed man came out from the tombs, and he spoke to Jesus. Jesus asked him what his name was and he said, Legions, because there are many of us. But the demons asked Jesus, have you come to put us into the abyss? Well, how did the demons know they’re going into this symbolic abyss? Because Revelation mentioned that. And of course, Revelation had not been written when Jesus was on the earth. How did they know they were going to be put away in a prison, in a dungeon like pit? Well, again, they read the Bible and they understand it. In the 24th chapter of Isaiah, it’s referring, of course, to the coming of Jesus.

(21:13):
Verse 21 says, in that day, Jehovah will turn his attention to the army of the heights above and to the kings of the earth upon the earth, and they will be gathered together like prisoners gathered into a pit, and they will be shut up in the dungeon. After many days, they will be given attention. So the army of the heights above are the demons that rule over the kings of the earth and they’re being gathered into the pit. That’s what Revelation says that they will be put into an abyss for how long? For a thousand years. And that’s what it says in verse 22. “After many days, they will be given attention.” I’ll go ahead and read verse 23, the last verse in that chapter, it says, “the full moon will be abashed and the shining sun will be ashamed for Jehovah of armies has become king in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem, glorious before the elders of his people.”

(22:38):
Well, the Watchtower teaches that Jehovah became king in 1914 through Jesus, of course, and they say he became king again in 1918 because Babylon the Great fell then. But here it’s telling us that Jehovah becomes king in Mount Zion when he gives attention to the kings on the earth and the army of the heights above. So he exerts his power. God begins ruling and dismisses his enemies. That’s when he becomes king. Let me talk a little bit more about this 24th chapter because obviously it relates to what we know is the end of this system of things, Armageddon and the putting away of Satan for a thousand years. But it starts off by saying, “Look, Jehovah is emptying the land and making it desolate. He turns it upside down and scatters its inhabitants, and it will be the same for everyone. The people as well as the priest, the servant and his master, the servant and her mistress, the buyer and the seller, the lender and the borrower, the creditor and the debtor. The land will be completely emptied. It will be completely plundered. For Jehovah has spoken his word.”

While he was speaking primarily about the land of Israel, Jehovah was going to empty it of its inhabitants. They were going to go into exile. But it really applies on a much grander scale, doesn’t it? And certainly not to Israel.

(24:43):
Aren’t you glad that at least Jehovah’s witnesses don’t believe that Israel in the Middle East has anything to do with the fulfillment of God’s purpose? That somehow it’s, of course, ridiculous, but that’s what the evangelical movement believes, and they’re willing to fight and kill for Israel, for some reason. Anyway, I wanted to go down and read verse number 18 because it ties in with the pushing and the king of the north. It says, “Anyone fleeing from the sound of terror will fall into the pit and anyone coming up from the pit will be caught in the trap for the flood gates above will be opened and the foundations of the land will quake. The land is burst apart, the land has been shaken up, the land convulses violently.” And then it goes on to say in that day, Jehovah will turn his attention to the army and the heights.

(25:56):
So, these floodgates being opened is not talking about a literal flood such has wiped away parts of Tennessee and North Carolina, but it goes back to the time of the end. And the pushing of the king of the south with his rival resulted in an over-flooding storm from the king of the north. Why don’t I just read that passage in Daniel that says, “In the time of the end, the king of the south will engage with him in a pushing and against him, the king of the north will storm with chariots and horsemen and mini ships, and he will enter into the lands and sweep through like a flood. He will also enter into the land of the decoration, and many lands will be made to stumble.”

So, the land of the Decoration originally was Israel, but in the time of the end, it applies to the Christian congregation, so he will enter into the land of the Decoration. Isn’t that what Jesus said, that a disgusting thing will stand where ought not? And Jesus said, let the reader used discernment, referring us to the prophecy of Daniel.

(27:25):
If we were to go to the eighth chapter of Daniel, it’s even more explicit. Daniel sees this small horn that grows up and it grew very great toward the south and toward the east and toward the Decoration, there’s that word again. And it goes on to say that it exalted himself even against the prince of the Army. And from him, the constant feature was taken away. The established place of his sanctuary was thrown down. This is talking about the Christian arrangement, Christianity being done away with essentially, or the latter part of verse 12, it says, and it kept throwing truth to the earth and it acted and had success. So this business of throwing truth to the earth, it says it kept throwing it. It’s a process. It’s a policy and intention. And again, we see the beginning of that: the fact-checkers fighting against misinformation by censoring legitimate news sources and platforms where people can have a voice.

(28:48):
They’re being shut down, throwing truth to the earth. Truth is not allowed. This fierce-looking king starts off as a small horn and grows greater. In verse 24, it says, “His power will become great, but not through his own power, and he will bring ruin in an extraordinary way, and he will be successful and act effectively.” It says the same thing of the king of the north. The king of the north will succeed, at least in accomplishing world domination. It says, “He will bring mighty ones to ruin and also the people made up of holy ones. And by his cunning, he will use deception to succeed. And in his heart, he will exalt himself. And during a time of security, he will bring many to ruin and even stand up against the prince of princes. But he will be broken without hand.”

(30:01):
Well, that’s what it says of the king of the North. It’ll come all the way to his end. And the great prince Michael will put an end to him. In this chapter, the eighth chapter, he’s referred to as the Prince of princes, but notice that he brings mighty ones to ruin in an extraordinary way. Has that happened yet? Well, the Watchtower says that this happened during World War II, and they’re very skimpy on details for obvious reasons, and we’re never told who the mighty ones were that were brought to ruin. But I suppose they could probably come up with something if they were pressed. But I believe we’re going to see it here in a very short while. And I believe how it’ll come about is by collapsing the global financial system.

(30:56):
It is going to collapse of its own weight, but I think it will be intentionally collapsed to be controlled, and all the millionaires and billionaires will be brought to ruin. You look at this company called BlackRock, and they control something like, I don’t know, it’s unbelievable. It’s like eight, $10 trillion worth of capital investments, and they have sizable shares, and virtually all the companies in the stock market —them, BlackRock and Vanguard, and there’s a few other giant corporations like that which control enormous amounts of money. But if they colluded, if they wanted to, they could make the whole thing collapse and then they could hold on to their shares —not being forced to sell. They would literally end up owning everything. Wouldn’t that be extraordinary? His power will become great, but not through his own power. He will bring ruin an extraordinary way and he will be successful. “Successful”—so let him succeed. I say what you’re doing get done more quickly!

We are just starting October here, an election in just a little over a month, and who knows what is going to happen next? But we shall see.
