“Again the Kingdom of the heavens is like a dragnet let down into the sea and gathering fish of every kind. When it was full, they hauled it up onto the beach, and sitting down, they collected the fine ones into containers, but the unsuitable they threw away. That is how it will be in the conclusion of the system of things. The angels will go out and separate the wicked from among the righteous and will cast them into the fiery furnace. There is where their weeping and the gnashing of their teeth will be.”

____________

As an organization in 2013 Jehovah’s Witnesses spent nearly two billion-hours in their ministry and conducted almost 10 million Bible studies with interested persons each month. And almost 20 million attended the 2013 Memorial event. (2014 YearBook numbers).

There are many experiences recorded in Year Books and other publications that indicate Jehovah’s angels are actively involved in directing the work and moving people to respond to the message of the Watchtower.

However, the very same angels that are assigned to assist in the accomplishment of the preaching of the goods news and the ingathering of people of goodwill are also actively removing interested peoples from association with Jehovah’s Witnesses, apparently on the basis of their unsuitability.

Not only that, but apparently a significant number of persons who have been sexually assaulted by adult Jehovah’s Witnesses are also deemed unsuitable for life in God’s new world and are being tossed into the blazing furnace of everlasting destruction by the angels.

It is hard to comprehend why the pedophiliac perpetrators, some of whom were/are elders and ministerial servants, are deemed suitable, while their victims are not; but the angels surely must know best. At least that is the absurd conclusion that one can only draw from the Watchtower’s bizarre interpretation of one of Jesus’ illustrations; specifically, the illustration of the dragnet. DO YOU GRASP THE MEANING?

The large number of individuals who attend our conventions and the Memorial each year is evidence of this fact. Some of these symbolic fish are “fine” and are gathered into the Christian congregation. Others, though, are found to be “unsuitable”; not all those gathered prove to be acceptable to Jehovah.

According to the Watchtower the large numbers of people who are initially attracted to the message, but who, for whatever reason, do not follow through and become Jehovah’s Witnesses or even those who are Jehovah’s Witnesses, but who leave the organization, have in reality been forcefully removed by the angels.

Of course, none of Jehovah’s Witnesses actually believe such nonsense; nevertheless, it is the official teaching of the Watchtower.

But, obviously, it is completely at odds with the Scriptures. For example, in a related illustration Jesus revealed that those who are like the seed sown on the road are those who do not get the sense of the Kingdom message, and consequently the Devil snatches the seed of truth from their hardened hearts. Since that likely describes the situation of many of those who may study for awhile but then leave off, why does the Society attribute the work of the Devil to Jehovah’s holy angels?

Jehovah’s Witnesses may be offended, but the question ought to be asked nonetheless: Why does the Watchtower publish blasphemous tripe such as this?

The answer is, because the leadership of Jehovah’s Witnesses is committed to concealing itself in falsehood, as foretold in prophesy; specifically the 28th chapter of Isaiah.

Because in Jesus’ illustration of the “dragnet” that is hauled up on the beach full of all sorts of fishes — both suitable and unsuitable — and the angels separate one from the other and the separation is to take place during the conclusion of the system, which the Society insists began in 1914, the Watchtower is forced to concoct a scenario whereby there is no future harvest; hence they have concluded a covenant with Death and concealed themselves in a lie.
