Well, hello, boys and girls. We’re “little children” as Jesus called his disciples.
And we are little children, aren’t we? We’ve only been alive for a few years really, compared to eternity. Compared to the King of Eternity, who’s always been alive. Start off with a mind-blowing thought there for you. But we’re gonna talk a little bit about this God who’s always been alive and who has unlimited ability, unlimited knowledge, knows everything, and is able to foretell the future.
We’re gonna talk about the mark of the beast, the 666, and what it signifies and, uh, what we can do to, [laughs] not get it.
You know, I think of all the things in the Book of Revelation, the mark of the beast is something that has captured the attention of a lot of people who may not have a lot of knowledge otherwise, but you know, they do know something about the 666 and of course, there’s a lot of different opinions.
Uh, but we’re gonna talk about what we know. Well, the Book of Revelation is, of course, written to tell us the things that must shortly take place.
Now, coming from the perspective of Jehovah’s Witnesses, that doesn’t really resonate, and the reason it does not is because the Watch Tower has convinced Jehovah’s Witnesses that all of these things have already taken place.
You know, it’s not unlike the Preterists. They say that everything took place in the first century. Of course, that’s ridiculous, but the Watchtower is essentially saying everything has taken place in the early 20th century. Yeah. So, but, we’re gonna talk about why that cannot be true and what we may expect in the future. Well, of course, the mark of the beast, eh, is mentioned only in that one chapter in Revelation, the 13th chapter, but to really appreciate what the mark of the beast is, we should really come to a better understanding of what the beast is.
Now obviously, the beast is a political system. It’s mentioned right there in, Revelation 13:4 that, um, the dragon gave authority to the beast. It’s explained to us in the 12th chapter of Revelation that the dragon is a symbol for Satan, the devil. And he’s symbolized as a seven-headed dragon, and there’s this seven-headed wild beast, so obviously… Or maybe not so obviously, but it should be obvious that each of the seven heads of the dragon corresponds with a head of the beast. And the Watchtower has helped us appreciate the identity of these seven heads, using Daniel as a touchstone, and Daniel mentioned two of them. Well, actually three, because he said Nebuchadnezzar was the head of gold. But two heads of the beast, two empires existed before Babylon.
At any rate, all seven of these empires have dominated God’s people at one time or another. Going back to the first empire, Egypt dominated God’s people, the Hebrews, the children of Abraham. They were enslaved for over four centuries, and then Jehovah raised up Moses and brought them out with a mighty display of power and destroyed the leader of Egypt, Pharaoh, and his entire army in the Red Sea. And then came Assyria. They conquered Egypt and they also conquered the 10 tribes of Israel, and they were pretty heady, feeling good about that, and they went to attack Jerusalem and nope, [laughs] Jehovah wiped out Sennacherib’s army. But over 100 years later, Jehovah punished Jerusalem and he brought Babylon in, and Babylon had replaced Assyria. And the Jews were taken off to captivity to Babylon.
Then came Persia. And Persia was really a benefactor of God’s people. They, they weren’t oppressed. And in fact, Darius released the Jews and even gave them money and materials and helped them to rebuild Jehovah’s temple in Jerusalem. But then that Persian empire was overthrown by Alexander the Great [laughs] and his Grecian empire. It was very short-lived, by the way. Alexander died I think when he was 30, and his… he didn’t have… His son wasn’t really qualified to run the empire, and so it was broken up into four parts and run by his four generals. And that was the Grecian empire that held domination over Palestine. And then came the Roman Empire, which absorbed all these four parts of the, of the Grecian empire. And from the Roman Empire came the Roman… Holy Roman Church, and from it has sprung the Anglo-American dual world power. That’s the seventh head.
So, but here is… Um, I’ve written, I think, an article some years ago. Instead of what is the mark of the beast, when is the mark of the beast? And that’s a very, uh, pertinent question, because the 13th chapter of Revelation shows that before this marking occurred, something tragic happens to one of the heads of the beast. It suffers a mortal wound, but then it is miraculously healed.
And again, this is one of the things the Watchtower said, “Yeah. Yeah, that, um, that, that happened during World War I.” [laughs] And they’re not very specific for obvious reasons, and they don’t even say that, eh, eh, that the sword stroke occurred to the Anglo-American beast. They don’t want people scratching their heads saying, “Well, wait a minute. [laughs] I thought, I, I thought Britain and America and the French won World War I, and, and, and how is it that they suffered this…” Well, they say it was because of the horrendous loss of life, particularly on the part of the British. And that much is true, but shouldn’t we expect if the leading power of the world is symbolized as having suffered a mortal wound, shouldn’t we expect that government should cease to function for a time?
Especially is that the fact, uh, the case when we consider the opening of the sixth seal. Seals two and three and four bring war, famine, and pestilence, and then this sixth seal represents a catastrophe. A great tribulation. And we know that’s true because when Jesus spoke of the tribulation,
I mentioned this in my last podcast, He said, “Immediately after the tribulation in those days, the sun will not give its light and the moon will turn to blood. The stars will fall from the heavens.” And that is what is portrayed with the opening of the sixth seal. Every mountain is rocked from its place. Every island is moved. The sun turns black as sackcloth of hair, the moon to blood, and the stars fall from heaven like figs from a ripe, from a fig tree.”
So that is the great tribulation. Every government-it ceases to exist. That’s what is symbolized. It will seem like the end of the world.
And then it comes back. The system comes back. If you read on in that opening of the sixth seal, everyone pleads for the mountains to fall over them, “Protect us from the one seated on the throne.” So they clamor for a savior, and that’s what Satan provides, a savior. And that is what is portrayed in the 13th chapter with this head of the beast coming back to life, and the people worship the wild beast. They feel like they have a champion then. And, uh, who is like the wild beast and who can do battle with it? [laughs]
Here is a question, and none of Jehovah’s Witnesses can answer it. If they do, then, um, they’re n- they’re not in, in alignment with the Watchtower. The Watchtower demands that everybody believe and think the same thing, and you can’t have a thought that is not in harmony with, you know, the governing body, even if it’s true. “Unity over truth” is the motto.
But how do we know that this beast did not receive this mortal head wound during World War I? How can we prove that that’s not true? And that’s a biblical requirement. Prove to yourself, you know? Test the inspired expression to see if it originates with God. Make sure of all things, huh?
Well, Revelation 13:8, it says, “And all those who dwell on the earth will worship it.”From the founding of the world, not one of their names has been written in the scroll of life of the lamb who was slaughtered. So everyone who worships this beast after it comes back to life, they are sentenced to everlasting death. Having your name blotted out of the book of life, that means no resurrection for you. Well, why does it say, “From the founding of the world”?
Well, that’s an expression that is used…When Adam and Eve were in the garden, when they sinned against Jehovah, uh, they became subject to Satan, the devil. And their children were under the devil’s influence to a greater or lesser degree. And while they were still in the garden, before they had children, before the founding of the world, Jehovah’s… Speaking to Satan, pretending he was the serpent, he said, “I will put enmity between you, the serpent, and the woman, and between her offspring or her seed and your seed, your offspring.” So those who worship this beast after it comes back to life prove that they are the devil’s offspring. And that is so because Jesus Christ will be ruling at that time. If you go back to the 12th chapter, war breaks out in heaven, Michael and his angels battle with the dragon, and the dragon and his angels battle, but they do not prevail. And there’s no longer a place allowed for them in heaven, and they’re thrown down to the earth. Okay?
And what’s it say? Now has come the salvation, the power, and the authority and the kingdom of our Christ. So that’s the kingdom coming to power. And Satan is thrown down. And what does he do? The last verse in that 12th chapter, he goes off to wage war with the remnant of the woman, the seed of the woman who have the obligation of obeying God and witnessing about Jesus. So this is after the sealing. After the tribulation is cut short, the angels are holding back the four winds until the final ones are sealed. And Satan goes off to war against them to try to force them, to coerce them to worship him and his beast.
Okay, so that’s why all those who worship this beast do not have their names written in the book of life. Because Jesus will be ruling then, and you’ll be given an opportunity to accept Christ or support Satan
[laughs]. You would think that would be a no-brainer, but obviously it won’t be. Because really, you have to have some faith going into it when everything falls apart. I mean, we’re, we’re talking about something here that no one’s ever experienced. And Jehovah explains it in symbolism, but you have to believe that you know, the sun going dark and the moon turning to blood and the stars falling from heaven, that’s, that’s gotta be some scary stuff. And so it won’t be a time when people can sit down and have a Bible study and kinda, you know, figure things out. The devil will be in your face. And isn’t that what is symbolized, where John saw this two-horned lamb coming up out of the earth?
It looks like an innocent lamb, but it begins speaking like a dragon. Well, it’s true that Satan has always been the ruler of the world and he’s used these seven heads of the beast, but when this Anglo-American beast comes out of the earth, that’s it coming back from the dead, out of the grave, and it begins speaking as a dragon. So it will be channeling the voice of Satan, and he will be commanding mankind and, uh, very forcefully putting them under compulsion to worship this beast. So, okay, now g- just to clarify, let’s go… If no one is, is, uh, written in the book of life, they’re sentenced to everlasting death, and that’s what this 666 mark represents, everlasting death. That means from God’s standpoint, he’s looking at them and he’s seeing they’ve got the mark. They’re, out of my book of life.
So if people began getting this mark, or they’ve been etched out of the book of life after World War I, why have Jehovah’s Witnesses been preaching to people? [laughs] Crickets, right? A long, silent pause. Well, uh… Uh, and if you really want a crazy idea, the Watchtower says that the marking of the beast began in 1922 when the League of Nations came to power.
And of course, in Revelation, it says this beast puts under compulsion all persons, the rich, the poor, the great, the small, everyone is put under compulsion…. to the League of Nations put anyone under compulsion? Did it have any kind of power? The United States wasn’t a member, was it? [laughs] How could it compel an American to do anything? It didn’t, of course. That’s nonsense.
So, here you have Jehovah’s Witnesses preaching to people that the Watchtower says have received the second death. And let’s face it, a lot of Jehovah’s Witnesses have been patriotic before they became Witnesses. I mean, I knew brothers that served in the Armed Forces during World War II. And they’d, they’d changed their mind about things. But if we follow what the Watchtower has said, then those people could not possibly repent. They have been etched out of the Book of Life, and that simply can’t be. So, we are forced… If- we’re honest, and if we’re reasoning honestly, we have to come to the conclusion that people have not received the mark of this beast. And we have to go back one step further. The head of this beast has not received this mortal wound.
And obviously, if it hasn’t received the wound, it hasn’t come back to life. And, uh, the devil has them against, you know, channeling his voice through- through this beast.
Well, a few years ago…The last… I think the last thing the Watchtower wrote on the mark of the beast was 20 years ago. And a lot has changed since then, and a lot is changing now, eh, in terms of technology. There’s something definitely afoot. And this- this company Palantir keeps popping up. Donald Trump gave them a contract to, uh, data mine every American. [laughs] To… I don’t know. It’s, it’s deep. This company Palantir got its start some over 20 years ago. And the CIA gave them seed money, they call it. So, they are tied in with the, uh, deep state, as- as they call it. But other nations have this as well. And we’re… By the way, the founder of Palantir also started PayPal. And where they’re going with this is some sort of central bank digital currency. And everybody is tied into this network we call the internet. Wh- y- you’re listening to me now, right? On s- some kind of device. A computer or laptop or a tablet or a phone of… Of course there are some people [laughs] in primitive, backward places that are not tied in. So, but,
I’m pretty sure, looking at this thing, that’s where they’re going, they’re going to collapse the money system. The global financial monetary system. And that will be the death of this head of the beast. I don’t think they’ll just pull the plug. I mean, they could, but they’ll use war as a pretext, as a cover. I mean, if you look at the leaders of Europe, they have gone insane. They’re preparing to go to war with Russia. Some of these people say that Putin is weak, that Russia is weak, that Putin would never use nuclear weapons. He knows he would be destroyed if he did. Wow. You know, they… You know, there’s an old saying. I think it’s, uh, from ancient Greece. It said, “Whom the gods would destroy, they first make mad.” Like, make them crazy.
And that seems to be what is happening. These leaders are crazy if they wanna go to war with Russia. I mean, the last time they did that [laughs], it didn’t turn out too well for the Germans. And here they are again, preparing for war with Russia. But I think that is… The people steering this want a controlled war, and even a limited nuclear war, as a way to perpetuate their dying money system, headquartered in London, of course, the City of London. And so by collapsing the system, they intend to impose this central bank… Not dozens of central banks, a central bank. Right now, the Bank of International Settlements is the central bank, central bank. All the central banks can borrow money from the Bank of International Settlements. And they’ve been working on a digital currency for many years.
So I’m pretty sure this is where they’re going, and combined with the data gathering and AI that’s available now, uh, everything about us is on a computer already. They can monitor us everywhere we go. If you’ve got a modern car, they can track you, listen to you. They know how fast you’re driving, and you know. And follow you with the GPS. Let- m- you know, eavesdrop on your conversation. They can monitor you through your smart TV and what have you. So, it is a great surveillance society that they are going to implement. And if they wipe out everybody’s bank account-You know, Vietnam did this last week, and they’re saying it, it’s a test case. They closed the bank accounts of 86 million depositors. There’s only 100 million people in Vietnam. Seems like a lot for that little nation, but anyway, uh, they didn’t comply. They didn’t, uh, get all their data put on the, you know, this biometrics thing. So, but if you’re without money, uh, I think that’s compulsion. And so, what’s it say there? Revelation 13:16, “It puts under compulsion all people. The small and the great, the rich and the poor, the free and the slaves, that these should be marked on their right hand or on their forehead, and that nobody can buy or sell except a m- a person having the mark, the name of the wild beast or the number of its name.”
So, right now, they can’t compel us. We can buy and sell freely, can’t we? We got a little taste of it with, uh, the pandemic lockdown, and places were discouraged from accepting cash because it might have viruses on the paper money, you know?
Uh, so they have the intention and they have the technological power now to flip the switch, to shut down everything. You know, it says… [cat meowing] Uh, I hope you can’t hear my cat meowing. Jones, come on, buddy. Hey, I’m doing a podcast, man. Get outta here. [cat meowing] Yeah, okay. Sorry about that.
Um, where was I?
But they, they have the technology now to run everything through your, your internet connection. Your bank is tied to your phone, and all your, all your details are there, so they know what you buy and they can, they can monitor. They can prevent you from buying food or gasoline or whatever. That would be a pretty strong, uh, compulsion to comply. But of course, just being tied into this is not receiving the mark of the beast. People have speculated for some years that getting a, you know, a microchip implanted in your hand or… Well, that would not necessarily condemn you before God, but it is what this beast, this image of the beast, will compel us to do to, to swear our allegiance, right? I mean, w- we’ve seen that, you know, Hitler compelled all the Germans to Heil Hitler. And if you didn’t Heil Hitler, you might lose your job if you didn’t raise your hand to salute Hitler. We know how they persecuted Jehovah’s Witnesses back in the ’30s and ’40s because, uh, of the flag salute issue, although that’s not even an issue anymore, is it? It’s considered a nasty thing to salute the flag [laughs]. Things change, don’t they? Uh, but sa- well, what’d it say in that last verse in Chapter 12? Satan goes off to war against the offspring of the woman, the anointed ones who’ve been sealed, as members of the kingdom. That’s who he’s after. He’s got pretty much the world under his control. He wants those remaining ones to break their loyalty, and he knows what God requires of them.
They have to give witness to Jesus, because by then, they will have seen Jesus. That’s what the parousia is. That’s what the manifestation of Christ is. The two witnesses give witness that they’ve seen Jesus. They’re standing next to the Lord of the whole Earth, and he’s standing next to them, Parousia, to come alongside.
So, Satan will absolutely outlaw that. And I would imagine with the way things are going with hate speech, people being arrested in the UK for mean tweets and silly things like that, well, California is trying to pass a law, it may be signed into effect this week, I don’t know, banning hate speech. Well, how do you define hate speech?
Well, we’ve seen a little taste of that, haven’t we? If some man pretends to be a woman and says his pronouns [laughs] are her and she and all of that nonsense, and you don’t comply with their insanity, you’re guilty of hate.
If someone says there’s 72 genders and you say, “No, no, th- there’s only male and female,” that’s hate speech. It can be defined as such. And some people are offended by the name Jehovah. Now, think about that. And you have to, uh, give witness to Jesus and Jehovah. People might find that to be hate speech. So, that’s what Satan can do, and that’s, I’m sure that’s what he will do when he begins speaking as a dragon. You know, in the, in the Book of Daniel, the seventh chapter of Daniel, Daniel saw a series of beasts. He saw one like a lion and one like a leopard with four wings, and one like a bear. And here we are in the 13th chapter of Revelation, and this beast has the body of a leopard, had the feet of a bear and the mouths of lions, each of these heads.
So, it’s a composite of these various beasts, but in that seventh chapter…… the last beast has 10 horns and then a small horn grows up, and it plucks out three of the other horns, which I believe relates to the death stroke upon the head of the beast. And I think besides the UK and, um, the United States, France will be taken out. They’re all on the edge now. I mean, they’ve been overrun with Islam and the government’s cracking down on patriots, you can’t wave a flag now [laughs]. It’s really, really crazy. But this horn that plucks up the three horns, it grows larger and larger, and it wars against the holy ones, just as this beast in, uh, Revelation. They conquer and kill the holy ones. It’s what it says. But this beast with the horn, that represents the last king, which is also the image of this beast, it has eyes, human eyes, and a mouth. And the mouth speaks arrogantly, and the same thing is said with this beast in Revelation. It blasphemes God and even those who reside in heaven.
So, that’s, again, the beast channeling Satan’s anger at being cast down from heaven. But this horn with eyes, I think it gets back to this surveillance state. They can monitor us every which way. You know, you can go on Google, Google Earth and look down and it’s pretty amazing, the satellite imagery, you can see cars and things, that’s nothing compared to what…the military grade surveillance is. They can monitor us, every breath we take. They have devices that can listen through walls and see through walls. Right? There is nowhere we’ll be able to hide. And I think that, that’s what that horn with eyes represents, this surveillance state that is gonna be in place. It’s for the most part, already in place, and we’re just waiting for the war and for the system to collapse, and for the beast to come back. And so, I don’t think it’s gonna be much longer. I think, um, the missiles are gonna start flying here pretty soon. But until then [laughs], hope to speak to you next week. And may Jehovah bless your search for the truth.
