Jehovah’s Witnesses have a unique message. It is the Bible’s message, otherwise called the gospel—the good news. The good news is that God has arranged for a new government—a global government—even a one-world government that will take complete control over the earth’s affairs. The government God intends to install—otherwise known as the Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of the heavens—will be administered by God’s trusted Son—Jesus Christ. It will bring an end to the wars and strife that have afflicted mankind. Poverty will be eliminated. Ill health and even death will be done away with. Good news, indeed!

For all of these blessings to come first the present god of this world has to be taken out. That god is Satan the Devil, whom Jesus called the ruler of the world. And the world over which Satan rules must be destroyed too. It is the only way. All indications are the time of the end is near. Unfortunately, most people living will be killed. Some will qualify for a resurrection—a return from the dead, as Revelation explains those killed by the sword, famine and pestilence to come will be laid low in the Grave. Many others will not return to life but will suffer permanent death, symbolized by the lake of fire. The good news is that a great crowd of people is going to survive the end of the world and continue living on earth after all evil is abolished. That is the core message of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Under the direction of the Watchtower Jehovah’s Witnesses have certainly done an extraordinary work. Incredibly, the Watchtower publishes material in over 1,000 languages. The New World Translation of the Bible is now available in 200 languages. More are added every week. This is an extraordinary accomplishment. And it is in fulfillment of what Jesus foretold when he said: “And this good news of the Kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.” — Mathew 24:14

When Jesus spoke of the “end” did he mean the end of Satan’s world? No. That is not reasonable. The reason is, Jesus also foretold that before the end the world will experience a time of disaster, unlike anything that has ever occurred. Jesus referred to it as the great tribulation. And he said it is coming upon the entire inhabited earth. So, it is not likely that Jehovah’s Witnesses will be carrying on their normal routine, preaching and teaching, going to meetings and all of that during a time of global chaos. So, when Jesus said “and then the end will come” he meant the end of the Christian ministry.

The prophetic book of Joel verifies this. It depicts the Christian ministry as a harvest work. Jesus used that analogy too. The first chapter of Joel expresses the catastrophic end of the harvest this way:

“For a nation has come up into my land, mighty and without number. Its teeth are the teeth of a lion, and its jaws are those of a lion. It has devastated my vine and turned my fig tree into a stump, stripping them completely bare and tossing them aside, leaving their twigs white. Wail as a virgin wearing sackcloth does for the bridegroom of her youth. Grain offering and drink offering have ceased from the house of Jehovah; the priests, the ministers of Jehovah, are in mourning. The field has been devastated, the ground mourns; for the grain has been devastated, the new wine has dried up, the oil has failed. Farmers are dismayed, vinedressers wail, because of the wheat and the barley; for the harvest of the field has perished. The vine has dried up, the fig tree has withered. The pomegranate, the palm, and the apple, all the trees of the field have dried up; for joy has turned to shame among the people.  Put on sackcloth and mourn, you priests; wail, you ministers of the altar.”

“Come in and spend the night in sackcloth, you ministers of my God; for grain offering and drink offering have been withheld from the house of your God. Proclaim a fast; call for a solemn assembly. Gather the elders together, with all the inhabitants of the land, to the house of Jehovah your God, and cry to Jehovah for help. Woe because of the day! For the day of Jehovah is near, and it will come like a destruction from the Almighty! Has not food been taken from before our very eyes, and rejoicing and joy from the house of our God? The seeds have shriveled under their shovels.”

Storehouses are desolate. Granaries have been torn down, for the grain has dried up. Even the livestock groan! The herds of cattle wander in confusion, for they have no pasture! And the flocks of sheep bear the punishment. To you, O Jehovah, I will call; for fire has devoured the pastures of the wilderness, and a flame has consumed all the trees of the field. Even the wild beasts long for you, because the streams of water have dried up and fire has devoured the pastures of the wilderness.”

It might be hard for some to imagine a scenario in which the Christian ministry is suddenly curtailed and everything associated with it is shut down, but that is what the prophecy is portraying. And it is what Jesus was alluding to when he said: “and then the end will come.”

At this present moment, there is a relentless drive on the part of the Anglo-American empire to provoke a war with Russia, China, and Iran. The war against Russia is already well underway in Ukraine. The impetus for this suicidal war is the rise of a new power block grouped around the Russia/China alliance. A new financial system is being rolled out that does not use the dollar, which since the last world war has been the world’s reserve currency.

Dozens of nations are aspiring to the promise of development out from under the conditionalities imposed upon them by the Anglo-controlled dollar system and relevant institutions like the IMF and the World Bank, etc. Trillions of unwanted, unneeded dollars are certain to come flooding back to America like a Tsunami. The only question left unanswered is whether the so-called Trans-Atlantic money system will be devoured in a hyperinflationary firestorm, or whether there will be a sudden, unstoppable chain reaction collapse of the two-quadrillion dollar derivatives pyramid, causing an overnight, super nova-like blowout of the entire financial system. We should know very soon.

Imagine one day the financial system we all depend upon simply ceases to exist. Everyone and every institution, including the government of America and Europe would collapse. That would certainly fit the vivid imagery laid out in Joel: “Ahead of it a fire devours, and behind it a flame consumes. The land ahead of it is like the garden of Eden, but behind it is a desolate wilderness, and nothing can escape.” — Joel 2:3

A collapse of the banking system would ruin the Watchtower and bring an end to its operations. More than likely martial law will be imposed in the aftermath. I expect Chinese troops to come flooding into America.

The Watchtower recently revised its interpretation of Joel. Now they claim the devouring locust-like army has no modern fulfillment. In reality, the prophecy had no ancient fulfillment. It is earmarked for the day of Jehovah.

No wonder Jehovah addressed the book of Joel to the elders of his people and rouses them from their spiritually drunken stupor, saying: “Hear this, you elders, and pay attention, all you inhabitants of the land. Has anything like this happened in your days or in the days of your forefathers? Tell about it to your sons, and let your sons tell about it to their sons, and their sons to the next generation.  What was left by the devouring locust, the swarming locust has eaten; and what was left by the swarming locust, the unwinged locust has eaten; and what the unwinged locust has left, the voracious locust has eaten. Wake up, you drunkards, and weep!” (2-5)
