There is where their weeping and the gnashing of their teeth will be.Matt. 13:42.

Is that happening right now? No. Today, Christendom, as part of the harlot, still says about herself: “I sit a queen, and I am no widow, and I shall never see mourning.” Indeed, Christendom feels very much in charge, even presuming to ‘sit as a queen’ atop the class of political leaders. Presently, those represented by the weeds are boasting, not weeping. But that is about to change. During the great tribulation, after all organized false religion has been destroyed, former adherents will run for cover but will find no secure place to hide. Then, realizing that there is no escape from destruction, they will weep in desperation and ‘gnash their teeth’ in anger. As Jesus foretells in his prophecy about the great tribulation, at that dark moment, they “will beat themselves in lamentation.”

COMMENTARY

Jesus used the expression “there is where their weeping and gnashing of their teeth will be” on numerous occasions. And it always was in reference to those who were originally servants of God, but who were rejected in the end. Here are a few verses in context with a brief commentary for each.

“But I tell you that many from east and west will come and recline at the table with Abraham and Isaac and Jacob in the Kingdom of the heavens; whereas the sons of the Kingdom will be thrown into the darkness outside. There is where their weeping and the gnashing of their teeth will be.” —Matthew 8:11-12

Note that it is “the sons of the Kingdom” who will be thrown out.

“The Son of man will send his angels, and they will collect out from his Kingdom all things that cause stumbling and people who practice lawlessness, and they will pitch them into the fiery furnace. There is where their weeping and the gnashing of their teeth will be. At that time the righteous ones will shine as brightly as the sun in the Kingdom of their Father. Let the one who has ears listen.” — Matthew 13:41-43

As regards the uprooting of the “weeds,” Jesus clearly stated that during the finale the angels will collect out from his Kingdom persons practicing lawlessness. So, those who are collected out will be people who are in “his Kingdom” — that is to say, in his congregation.

“That is how it will be in the conclusion of the system of things. The angels will go out and separate the wicked from among the righteous and will cast them into the fiery furnace. There is where their weeping and the gnashing of their teeth will be.” — Matthew 13:49-50

Those who are considered unsuitable are originally gathered into the fisherman’s net — meaning that were gathered together, at least preliminarily, with the suitable “fishes.”

“When the king came in to inspect the guests, he caught sight of a man not wearing a marriage garment. So he said to him, ‘Fellow, how did you get in here without a marriage garment?’ He was speechless. Then the king said to his servants, ‘Bind him hand and foot and throw him into the darkness outside. There is where his weeping and the gnashing of his teeth will be.’” — Matthew 22:11-13

Again, the one thrown out is in association with the approved guests up until the king inspects his guests.

“But if ever that evil slave says in his heart, ‘My master is delaying,’ and he starts to beat his fellow slaves and to eat and drink with the confirmed drunkards, the master of that slave will come on a day that he does not expect and in an hour that he does not know, and he will punish him with the greatest severity and will assign him his place with the hypocrites. There is where his weeping and the gnashing of his teeth will be.” — Matthew 24:48-51

The one judged to be an evil slave was originally appointed to feed the master’s domestic servants. However, he will prove to be unfaithful to his assignment — not expecting the master to return. Because of his not expecting the return of his master he beats his fellow slaves.

“Therefore, take the talent away from him and give it to the one who has the ten talents. For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have an abundance. But the one who does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him. And throw the good-for-nothing slave out into the darkness outside. There is where his weeping and the gnashing of his teeth will be.” — Matthew 25:28-30

In this illustration the one judged as a good-for-nothing slave was a slave. He had been entrusted with a portion of the master’s assets, but he proved to be untrustworthy in connection with what was entrusted to him.

“When the householder gets up and locks the door, you will stand outside knocking at the door, saying, ‘Lord, open to us.’ But in answer he will say to you: ‘I do not know where you are from.’ Then you will start saying, ‘We ate and drank in your presence, and you taught in our main streets.’ But he will say to you, ‘I do not know where you are from. Get away from me, all you workers of unrighteousness!’ There is where your weeping and the gnashing of your teeth will be, when you see Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and all the prophets in the Kingdom of God, but you yourselves thrown outside.” — Luke 13:25-28

Interestingly, those in this illustration claim to have “ate and drank in your presence” — presence, of course, being drawn from the Greek parousia. The leadership of Jehovah’s Witnesses boast of being the only ones to discern the presence of Christ. In essence, they claim to be eating and drinking in the presence of Jesus Christ. Ultimately, many will find themselves  “thrown outside” when the authentic presence commences.

In conclusion, because the self-exultant leaders of Jehovah’s Witnesses continue to foolishly push the 1914 hoax and have proven themselves to be unfaithful and untrustworthy on many levels, it is they who are destined to be “thrown outside” when Christ commences the judgment of the house of God. They will weep and gnash their teeth, knowing they have been put out of God’s Kingdom with nothing but the blackness of oblivion before them.
