And the word of Jehovah again came through Hagʹgai+ the prophet, saying: 4 “Is it the time for you to dwell in your paneled houses, while this house lies in ruins?+ 5 Now this is what Jehovah of armies says, ‘Set your heart on* your ways. 6 You have sown much seed, but you harvest little.+ You eat, but it is not to satisfaction. You drink, but you do not drink your fill. You put on clothing, but no one gets warm. The one who hires himself out puts his wages in a bag full of holes.’” Haggai 1:3-6

Would you care to elaborate on why you posted this and what your understanding is? ‘Cause in this way it just kinda floats here without any context.

I was just responding to the article by RK.  It’s a nicely written article that brought this scripture to my mind and I thought it was applicable.  The Society has spent so much time and effort building this edifice to themselves  while their publishers suffer from spiritual malnutrition.

Plus, now that this monument to themselves is finished the Organization will go about and close Kingdom Halls, build others while they engage in illegal money laundering (which I have seen myself when I was on a Kingdom Hall Building Committee in the 1990’s).  They refuse to admit guilt and attempt to really help the thousands of child abuse victims in their midst.  Jehovah will bring judgment soon and he will start with the Watchtower.
