Question: Just curious if you will return to Jehovah's temple to be part of the last witness to the world after the coming of Christ and the removal of that which causes stumbling? Answer: It is not going to work that way. And unfortunately, or rather, by divine providence, Jehovah’s Witnesses have no knowledge of [...]
(Download, right click and save as Facing the end of the WT) This essay is a brief review of the Watchtower article entitled: “Facing the End of This Old World Together.” On what basis do Jehovah’s Witnesses believe that we are facing the end of this old world? According to the Watchtower the [...]
QUESTION: What did Jesus mean when he said to his disciples that "they will lay their hands on you, delivering you up to the synagogues and prisons, and you will be brought before kings and governors for my name's sake. This will be your opportunity to bear witness." (Luke 21:12-13 ESV) What was it that [...]
1.) For a long time Jehovah’s Witnesses had been taught that Jesus’ parable of the wise and foolish virgins was fulfilled in 1918. But the July, 2013, Watchtower adjusted the coming of the bridegroom to a point in the future. Previously the Watchtower had explained that the International Bible Students had “nodded off” during the [...]
Jehovah’s Witnesses are resolutely under the authority of the Governing Body of the Watchtower Society. No one aware of the facts can deny the truth of that statement. Jehovah’s Witnesses themselves would readily agree that their standing and qualifications among their fellow Christians is weighed and judged foremost as to their loyalty and submission to [...]
QUESTION: If 1914 is not valid, what accounts for the preaching work of Jehovah's Witnesses? ANSWER: When Jesus was on earth he personally undertook and also organized and directed an extensive preaching campaign. His message was simple: ‘Repent, you people, for the kingdom of the heavens has drawn near!’ That was the message Jesus instructed his disciples to [...]
In order to keep the 1914 myth intact the Watchtower has since then promoted the notion that Jesus has two thrones. Supposedly, he sat down on his kingly throne in 1914, but he has not really commenced the work of a king in carrying out any sort of judgment within the earthly realm of his domain.
The reason the Watchtower is compelled to fabricate a secondary throne for Jesus is because in his parable of the sheep and the goats (Matthew 25:31) emphasis is placed upon the Son of man arriving with all of his angels as he sits down upon his glorious throne.

QUESTION: In Daniel chapter 8 it talks about a goat whose horn is broken and gives rise to 4 more horns. Who are those 4 horns? Also, does Daniel 8 describe a nuclear attack? I am hoping you can explain Daniel 8 and how it applies to today.
ANSWER: Although the Watchtower Society has convinced the millions of Jehovah’s Witnesses under its authority that virtually every aspect of the prophecy (And all other prophecy for that matter) has already been fulfilled, the prophecy regarding the king fierce in countenance is actually of the utmost relevance as regards the immediate future.Although I have written a fair amount on this topic over the past ten years, in view of the imminent, catastrophic, collapse of the Euro Zone monetary and political system, and the even more destructive measures that are sure to be taken to prevent the inevitable, it seems timely to revisit this amazing piece of God’s prophetic puzzle in this, and a subsequent article.
The name of God, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and consequently the God of Israel, was represented in written form by the four Hebrew consonants YHWH. Probably the first appearance in writing of the so-called Tetragrammaton took place when God carved out the two stone tablets upon which he wrote the Ten Commandments for the Israelites. There, chiseled in stone by the very finger of God, the name of God appeared eight times.
Over the course of 15 centuries as the Bible was compiled by various writers, ultimately the name of God appeared in the vellum and papyrus scrolls in nearly 7,000 places – more than any other proper name. Originally the name of God was freely spoken by the Jews and used in everyday language. Hebrews often named their offspring names that incorporated some form of the divine name. For example, the common name, John, is a shortened form of the Hebrew name, Jehohanan, which means “Jehovah has been gracious.”
Places were also named names that honored God’s name. For example, when God prevented Abraham from offering Isaac upon a makeshift altar and instead provided a ram as a substitute, a grateful Abraham named the mountain Jehovah-Jireh, which means “Jehovah will provide.” Incidentally, Jewish tradition has it that the place Abraham named Jehovah-Jireh was the site where Solomon’s temple was built almost 1,000 years later, and which became known as the place where Jehovah caused his name to reside.
There is a war wracking the world today. It is not a conflict between individual nations or even blocks of nations. It is not so black and white as that. It is not confined to national borders, as wars of the past typically have been. It might best be described as a war between the rulers and the people. But that does not really tell the whole story either, because in the USA the government is “by the people” – ostensibly. More specifically, the conflict is really between two systems of rule – the empire and the republic, or neo-colonialism and the nation-states.
Who are Jehovah’s Christian Witnesses? Are they the true worshippers of God – the true light-bearers, as the Watchtower Society claims? What makes the witnesses of Jehovah so special? Do they really believe that they are the only ones who will receive salvation? After all, many accuse Jehovah’s Witnesses of being a satanic cult. How could such a maligned sect possibly be the only true faith?
When Christopher Columbus returned to his native land with the news of his discovery Europeans immediately began to refer to it as “the New World.” For the past half millennia the Americas have been called the New World. For desperate millions the New World offered the hope of a fresh start, free from the grinding poverty and oppression of the remnants of a feudalistic system in Europe, that at the time of Columbus’s discovery still had not fully recovered from the ravages of the Black Death, famine and the so-called Hundred Year’s War, which combined, had reduced the population in some parts of the Old World by as much as two-thirds.
