For just as the days of Noah were, so the presence of the Son of man will be. 38 For as they were in those days before the Flood, eating and drinking, men marrying and women being given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, 39 and they took no note until the Flood came and swept them all away, so the presence of the Son of man will be. 40 Then two men will be in the field; one will be taken along and the other abandoned. 41 Two women will be grinding at the hand mill; one will be taken along and the other abandoned. 42 Keep on the watch, therefore, because you do not know on what day your Lord is coming.
We can see that the conditions on earth will be similar in the time of the end as they were in Noah’s day. And just like in Noah’s time individuals will be saved into a spiritual Ark in tranches. What does this mean, tranches? Well, when you read the account of Noah’s day the animals were boarded in certain groups. In Matthew 24:31 it describes this process;
“ And he will send out his angels with a great trumpet sound, and they will gather his chosen ones together from the four winds, from one extremity of the heavens to their other extremity. ”This is the first tranch and chosen ones is not limited to those who are to be the bride of Christ. Chosen ones are those that are currently marked for salvation by being in a salvation covenant with God and Christ, most who are not part of the Bride of Christ, but nonetheless saved. These are also the ones who were promised by Jehovah to be spared the TEST that will come upon all mankind. See Jesus words at Revelation 3:10 where he promises; “10 Because you kept the word about my endurance,*s I will also keep you from the hour of test,t which is to come upon the entire inhabited earth, to put to the test those dwelling on the earth.” A test is only needed if you are not already sealed into a salvation covenant and Jehovah observes the next group or tranch with the pressure of the “great tribulation”. This is described for us in Revelation 7 verses 13 & 14 where it records the promise; “13 In response one of the elders said to me: “These who are dressed in the white robes,m who are they and where did they come from?” 14 So right away I said to him: “My lord, you are the one who knows.” And he said to me: “These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation,n and they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.” They prove their faith during the “great tribulation” and then are also gathered into the ark of salvation. This is the second “tranch” of salvation.
The third tranch will be observed during the final test on mankind. They were not in the first group that was sealed into a salvation covenant already and they are not in the tranch that proved their strong faith during the “great tribulation” when they cover themselves with clean robes and the “blood of the lamb”. The final group will be tested during the “mark of the beast” which will come after the “great tribulation” is halted by the proclamation of the 8th King, the image of the beast, which brings “peace and security” by tyrannical dictatorial power and proclaims not only “peace and security” but also proclaims this in Revelation 13:15-17; “15 And it was permitted to give breath* to the image of the wild beast, so that the image of the wild beast should both speak and cause to be killed all those who refuse to worship the image of the wild beast.16 It puts under compulsion all people—the small and the great, the rich and the poor, the free and the slaves—that these should be marked on their right hand or on their forehead,v 17 and that nobody can buy or sell except a person having the mark, the namew of the wild beast or the number of its name.”
Yes, the third tranch of those saved in the ark of salvation will be those who are tested by what might be called the “love test”. These ones will be tested to see if they love their brother more than themselves during the test of the “mark of the beast”. Will they help their brothers and provide the means of life when it is against the law of the “mark of the beast” or will they show love for their “brother” while faced with death for the expression of such love?
Which brings us to the final tranch which we call the salvation of the Omega covenant. Jesus said “I am the Alpha and the Omega” for a very good reason. He is the first and the last in respects to the provisions of salvation for adamic mankind. He was the one who agreed to ransom Adam and his offspring from Adam’s first sin, which allowed mankind to proceed to salvation. That is the Alpha covenant. He also will provide the salvation covenant for those who do not make us of the first three tranches of salvation we have already discussed. This is the Omega salvation covenant that will be extended to those that show faith at the end of this system, just as the thief did while on the torture stake next to the Christ at Calvary.
When all four tranches are finished the end of this “old earth” will come as described in 2 Peter 3:5-7; “5 For they deliberately ignore this fact, that long ago there were heavens and an earth standing firmly out of water and in the midst of water by the word of God;e 6 and that by those means the world of that time suffered destruction when it was flooded with water.f 7 But by the same word the heavens and the earth that now exist are reserved for fire and are being kept until the day of judgment and of destruction of the ungodly people.” Ungodly people are all those that are not in a salvation covenant provided by God and Christ. Jehovah drives this home in the following verses of 2 Peter 3 where he further defines the situation; “8 However, do not let this escape your notice, beloved ones, that one day is with Jehovah* as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day.h 9 Jehovah* is not slow concerning his promise,i as some people consider slowness, but he is patient with you because he does not desire anyone to be destroyed but desires all to attain to repentance.j 10 But Jehovah’s* dayk will come as a thief,l in which the heavens will pass awaym with a roar,* but the elements being intensely hot will be dissolved, and earth and the works in it will be exposed. This will happen while all those in a salvation covenant from Alpha to Omega look on from the ark of salvation as Noah and his family did during the destruction in their day. If you have not repented of your sins and been included in the many salvation opportunities provided by Jehovah God and his Son Jesus, now is the time. Do not wait until it is too late. By the way, Daniel reinforces this thinking when it says in Chapter 12 this; “9 Then he said: “Go, Daniel, because the words are to be kept secret and sealed up until the time of the end.l10 Many will cleanse themselves and whiten themselves and will be refined.m And the wicked ones will act wickedly, and none of the wicked will understand; but those having insight will understand.n” This merciful opportunity that Jehovah offers to mankind is for the faithful and the loving people on the earth and not for the wicked. While all this is going on, the wicked will not understand what is happening until the fires of destruction come upon them and the faithful and loving are already safe on the ark of the salvation of God.
