Pennsylvania men allegedly used Jehovah’s Witness hall to ‘gain access’ to sex abuse victims

Five members of Jehovah’s Witness congregations in Pennsylvania were indicted by a grand jury on various child sex abuse charges Monday, officials announced. Pennsylvania Acting Attorney General Michelle Henry said that the five men preyed on young members of their own families and congregations.

“The details of these crimes are sad and disturbing, facts which are made even more abhorrent because the defendants used their faith communities or their own families to gain access to victims,” Henry said in a statement on Monday. READ MORE (FOX NEWS)

It is an old story repeated over and over and over again. There have been thousands of victims of pedophiles over the past 50 years. The WT maintains a database of over 20,000 known predators. Still, the spokesmen for the Watchtower repeat over and over that they abhor child abuse. Yet, the evidence shows that JW elders never, ever, cooperate with law enforcement. Just the opposite. Watchtower lawyers instruct elders to never cooperate with the police. So for all of their “we abhor child abuse” talk the facts show otherwise. If pedophiles knew for certain that if their crimes were ever reported to the elders the police would be notified immediately it would surely give them pause. If pedophiles knew that elders would be their loudest accusers maybe they would think twice before committing a crime. As it stands now though, the Watchtower has proven itself over and over again to have betrayed their sacred duty to defend the legal rights of God’s children.

If you want to know the truth—the ugly truth—the Watchtower’s lawyers are on record saying that elders bear no fiduciary duty to protect children from the crimes of a congregant. In taking this position they have repudiated Christianity and denied Jehovah. Obviously, there will be consequences. Already Jehovah is mustering his military force. Soon they must feel the fire of Jehovah’s rage. It will be interesting to see how the Watchtower’s legal team holds up when Christ wars against them with the long sword of his mouth.

In other news, the Watchtower quietly settled out of court with seven plaintiffs.

Out-of-court settlements allow the Watchtower to keep their child abuse scandals off the front page so they can keep boasting about how they abhor child abuse.
