QUESTION: I know you have said that the WT has been used by Jehovah to further His will, but is God still using the organization? I feel that, that time is over now because I can’t see how God will work with an organization that has got their hands in blood and in saying that I mean by the thousands upon thousands of child abuse that takes place on a daily basis, by being involved in the UN by having millions of dollars worth of shares in world companies and by still peddling the 1914 fraud, so please tell me that Jehovah is done with the WT, we know that the WT has been infiltrated by demonic powers so in my mind of thinking I can’t see how God can have His spirit working thru that organization now.

Jehovah’s Witnesses cannot really appreciate the truth—not yet anyway. The truth is, that God has always allowed a place for Satan the Devil. It suits God’s purpose to allow for Satan’s operation of error. Keep in mind, that Judas sat at the Passover table with Jesus and the apostles up until the moment the Devil entered into him to impel him to betray Christ. And that was God’s will. Otherwise, it would not have happened. Satan and his wicked angels have even resided in heaven in company with the holy angels up to the hour when Christ’s Kingdom comes to power and evicts them.

Likewise, the Devil’s presence remains within Christ’s congregation until Jesus dispatches his angels to collect out from his Kingdom all persons doing lawlessness. It should be noted that the lawlessness emanates from the man of lawlessness who will reside in the temple of God up until the manifestation of Christ eliminates his presence.

The reason Jehovah’s Witnesses cannot appreciate this profound truth is because they have been deceived by the man of lawlessness. Paul clearly warned Christians not to be taken in by official-sounding announcements proclaiming that the presence of Christ has begun and the day of Jehovah is here. Not only have Jehovah’s Witnesses not heeded the apostle’s caution, but the Watchtower has established the invisible presence of Christ as the organization’s cornerstone of bedrock truth.

Of course, lies cannot hold up to the truth. Just ask anyone among Jehovah’s Witnesses to explain how and why the harvest took place during the First World War. It is nonsensical. But supposedly all lawless persons were rounded up and removed from Christ’s congregation over a century ago! How ridiculous!

There are many other absurdities that are passed off as unassailable truths. Take for example the speaking of the “pure language.” I remember back many years ago there was a Pure Language district convention. It is believed that because Jehovah’s Witnesses all believe and preach the same thing it is evidence that the prophecy has been fulfilled. However, anyone with a Bible can discern from the passage in Zephaniah that the pure language of truth will not come into existence until the fiery day of Jehovah commences. Here, read it for yourself: “So keep yourselves in expectation of me,’ declares Jehovah, ‘Until the day when I rise up to take plunder, for my judicial decision is to gather nations, to assemble kingdoms, to pour out on them my indignation, all my burning anger; for by the fire of my zeal the whole earth will be consumed. For then I will change the language of the peoples to a pure language, so that all of them may call on the name of Jehovah, to serve him shoulder to shoulder.’” — Zephaniah 3:8-9

Did not Jesus exhort and sternly warn his followers to keep on the watch, to stay in expectation of his stealth arrival to commence the judgment? And is not the Son of man coming in the name and authority of Jehovah? And what is the sign that will confirm his arrival? Nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom, followed shortly by a tribulation of such severity it will require divine intervention to prevent the extinction of mankind. Thus, Jehovah’s burning anger will consume the whole earth.

Now, as regards the question, how could Jehovah use an organization as corrupt as the Watchtower has become? I ask the reader to consider the entire context of the third chapter of Zephaniah. It begins, saying: “Woe to the rebellious, the polluted, the oppressive city! She has obeyed no voice; she has accepted no discipline. In Jehovah she has not trusted; she has not drawn near to her God. Her princes within her are roaring lions. Her judges are wolves in the night; they do not leave even a bone to gnaw until morning. Her prophets are insolent, treacherous men. Her priests defile what is holy; they do violence to the law.  Jehovah is righteous in her midst; he does no wrong. Morning by morning he makes known his judgments, as unfailing as the daylight. But the unrighteous one knows no shame.”

The treacherous prophets claim that the very prophecy of Zephaniah applies to Christendom. Except, in their Pure Worship publication they quietly dropped that connection. There are contradictions galore. So what? Well, the Watchtower recognizes that the prophecy of Zephaniah has application to the future. How often have Jehovah’s Witnesses cited this passage from the second chapter of Zephaniah? — “Before the decree takes effect, before the day passes by like chaff, before the burning anger of Jehovah comes upon you, before the day of Jehovah’s anger comes upon you, seek Jehovah, all you meek ones of the earth, who observe his righteous decrees. Seek righteousness, seek meekness. Probably you will be concealed on the day of Jehovah’s anger.”

Ancient Jerusalem was the oppressive city. But the reason Jehovah was so focused on that city as opposed to countless other oppressive cities, is because Jerusalem was the center of pure worship. Or at least it was supposed to be. It was, even in its oppressive state, the place where Jehovah caused his name to reside. God expected more from the prophets and priests who knew his name and who officiated at his temple.

Since the change to a pure language takes place as an extreme, corrective measure, the oppressive city with her devouring princes who profane what is holy, must represent the Watchtower organization presently—that which boasts of being the center of pure worship on earth. Who could argue against the fact that Jehovah has placed his name upon Jehovah’s Witnesses—entrusting them with his special message of good news?

Paul informed the Hebrew Christians that whomever God loves he disciplines. Indeed, the apostle noted that the Father scourges everyone he receives as a son. God does not even bother trying to correct people or institutions that he does not have a stake in. Jesus wrote to one of his symbolic congregations in Revelation, saying: “All those for whom I have affection, I reprove and discipline. So be zealous and repent.” — Revelation 3:19

Now, please notice in the passage pasted above: “She has accepted no discipline.” “She” represents Jehovah’s organization. And it says Jehovah is “righteous in her midst; he does no wrong.”

Did not Jesus assure his disciples that he would be with them, even in their midst, all the days until the conclusion? And, again, by way of review, what occurs when the conclusion begins, otherwise known as the harvest? The oppressive city will be destroyed. Is not the desolation of Jerusalem the central feature of Jesus’ extensive prophecy regarding the conclusion of the system of things?

Notice that the change to a pure language brings about a drastic change in the spiritual environment of Jehovah’s organization. Gone are the haughty priests and lying prophets. Zephaniah goes on to say: “On that day you will not be put to shame because of all your deeds with which you rebelled against me, for then I will remove the haughty boasters from among you; and you will never again be haughty in my holy mountain. I will allow a humble and lowly people to remain in your midst, and they will take refuge in the name of Jehovah. Those remaining of Israel will practice no unrighteousness; they will not speak a lie, nor will a deceitful tongue be found in their mouths; they will feed and lie down, and no one will make them afraid.”

Christ will annihilate those wicked men who pretend to be anointed and those who refuse to repent of their badness. All the lies that are packaged as the truth will be gone. Only meek and humble people will be allowed entry into the spiritual paradise that will come into existence after the fiery purge.
