Let them praise your great name.Ps. 99:3.

Unlike some religious people who mistakenly think that they will praise God once they have left the earth and gone to heaven, all of Jehovah’s Witnesses realize the need to praise him here and now on the earth. We thereby follow the example of the faithful servants of Jehovah described at Psalm 99:1-3, 5. As that psalm indicates, Moses, Aaron, and Samuel offered their full support to the arrangement for true worship in their day. Today, before moving on to serve as priests with Jesus in heaven, the remaining ones of his anointed brothers faithfully serve in the earthly courtyard of the spiritual temple. Millions of “other sheep” loyally support them. Although having different hopes, both groups unitedly worship Jehovah here at God’s footstool. As individuals, however, we do well to ask ourselves, ‘Am I giving full support to Jehovah’s arrangement for pure worship?’

The 99th Psalm begins with the announcement: “Jehovah has become King. Let the peoples tremble. He sits enthroned above the cherubs. Let the earth shake.”

This is no insignificant development. Jehovah becoming king finds its ultimate fulfillment when Jesus sits down upon his throne and begins ruling in the name of Jehovah. His enthronement above the cherubs is what is symbolized in Ezekiel’s vision of the fiery, celestial chariot.

Jehovah’s Witnesses believe this monumental event is history. Here is what the Watchtower has to say about Jehovah becoming king:

But the most important date for all human creation is 1914 (about October 1), for that marked the greatest turning point in all human history….That 1914 indeed marks the year Jehovah became King is conclusively proved by the voices in heaven that John in his apocalyptic vision heard: “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will rule as king for ever and ever.” “We thank you, Jehovah God, the Almighty, the one who is and who was, because you have taken your great power and begun ruling as king. But the nations became wrathful, and your own wrath came, and the appointed time . . . to bring to ruin those ruining the earth.” Without doubt, 1914 marks the time when the nations became wrathful as never before. (WT 5-15-1960)

It is amazing that even 57 years later Jehovah’s Witnesses still believe that Christ began ruling the world 103 years ago. It requires Jehovah’s Witnesses to believe that the nations became wrathful, but then their anger moderated. And indeed, it has. Although interrupted with periodic regional wars since WW2 the nations have enjoyed an extraordinary period of peace. Not only that, Jehovah’s Witnesses have flourished. Where is the anger and wrath? Where is the persecution?

What is more, the 11th chapter of Revelation states that in response to the wrath of the nations God brings to ruin those ruining the earth. Was the earth being ruined back in 1914? Of course not. Pollution and environmental issues have only come to the fore in recent decades. So, that means that Jesus has sat upon his throne —fully vested with all power and authority, and for these past 10 decades he has done absolutely nothing while the earth is being plundered and raped. What kind of kingship is that? Ought we praise Jehovah for having become king and yet allowing his enemies to go on and on in the same manner as before he became king? Why ought the earth tremble before a God who does nothing with his power after taking it from Satan?

I realize that my ranting about the 1914 fraud has no influence over anyone in the leadership of the Watchtower. Mine is just a tiny voice, easily ignored. That’s the reality. But I am supremely confident in the truth. I fully expect Jehovah to become king in the immediate future, which is to say I anticipate the Second Coming of Christ in the days ahead.

The stage is set. Conflict at this point is unavoidable. Or do you imagine that the Anglo empire that has ruled this world for over two hundred years is simply going to allow China to eclipse it? That will never happen. And they certainly are not going to allow any American president to make an alliance with Russia and China. The lords of London will blow the world up before they cede their power to anyone.

The bottom line, is, you have not seen the nations become wrathful. It is going to be terrifying. Hundreds of millions of people are going to die. Why do you think Jesus exhorted his followers not to be terrified? Are you shrinking in terror over the horror of World War One?

Unfortunately, this is what it is going to take to wake Jehovah’s Witnesses up. As for the leadership of the Watchtower, does it not say: “Only terror will make them understand”? Indeed, and terror it shall be when Jehovah becomes king. Let the people tremble! Let the earth shake!
