It seems that the Governing Body is gaining publicity for all the wrong reasons. On the one hand I applaud them for utilizing the Internet with their JW Broadcast. But, the downside is it exposes them to public ridicule as never before. Whereas, C.T. Russell, who spent his personal fortune to promote his message, said that the Watchtower would never solicit for money and if the day came when funds were no longer forthcoming they would consider that as a sign from God that it was time to suspend publishing operations. Well, has that time now come?

Besides the money, the manner in which Jehovah’s Witnesses are addressed – as if they were all kindergartners – ought to remind us of the prophecy of Isaiah, where the religious leaders speak to God’s people in a nursery rhyme style, saying, in effect: “command after command, command after command, Line by line, line by line, a little here, a little there.”
