Podcast, episode #34
This episode considers questions regarding why only a handful of men govern the organization. How can parents be more understanding of their gay children? And why was there no truth-bearing organization during the 1800 years from the end of the 1st century to the advent of the Watchtower Society?

I detected some un-PC content in this podcast. The police are on their way to your house...(I'm only joking of course, but you never know!).
Some of those apostates are a bit hypocritical - They spew plenty of hate talk on their anti-jw websites, 24/7! Bunch of trouble-makers.
I guess I'm a little confused about, why the 144k positions would not be open for any patriarchs likes Moses, John the Baptist, or King David. Is this clearly taught, or a another guess based loosely on one or a few scriptures. Like how it is taught that the people from the flood don't have a chance of a resurrection. Same with the people of sodom and so on! Has Jehovah clearly spoken these things? Or, are we puttting words in his mouth or making judgements in his court, where we should not be? After all, when the resurrection starts for these folks, wouldn't it be clearly in some of the resurrected peoples interest to have some of the prophets of that time around as judges for the people of that era?

Yes, it is clearly taught. Jesus said no one can inherit the kingdom less they be born from the water and the spirit. In other words they have to be baptized into Christ and anointed. Obviously no one who lived before Jesus was born could be baptized into Jesus or anointed by the spirit that was poured out after his ascension.
Looks like the P.C alarms will be ringing full blast during November. The Nov public Watchtower's main article, titled "What is the Bible's View on Sex?", mentions "Homosexuality" on page 7, in which it is described as a "lifestyle"
- Outrageous!!!
At this rate, the Watchtower and JW's will be marked as a "terrorist / hate group". Are will living in Russia???
And honestly, it would not surprise me if it did happen.
(I read that some UK Politician wants to scrap the Human Rights Act ---- This is probably not good news for the people.)
I wish it was so simple! I was a very lonely person for the first half of my life! It is not fun going through life alone!People don't have a clue, as to how the married couples team together in so many ways against single ones. They network themselves constantly for or against homosexuals, in the workplace or in social settings. It is quite nice to have someone next to your side as a sounding board. It is very good to have someone that can tell you when your thinking is not correct, that you need to make adjustments. I truly think the world as we are in right now, would be a better, safer place if everyone had a loving partner to go through life with. No wonder there are so many suicides of single persons, because they can see no way out of their lonely lives. Now, I think until satans system is removed, acceptance of peoples lives, no matter how debased in comparison with the scriptures, is totally acceptable at this time by Jehovah God. He knows that mental illness exists within his organization as well as outside his organization. Until people are freed form the enemy of death and disease. Freed from having to compete to make an honest living. Freed from satans constant influence of stumbling blocks. And are taught the absolute truth everyone practcing true love of the neighbor. There has to be acceptance of those practicing things contrary to biblical teachings.

What? M? I'm sorry, but acceptance is not being given out! Instead, its a attitude that you can change! If you don't change, then you are excluded from the christian love and association. And you are talked about in close knit circles as being stupid like. Parents then heap huge pressures on their children to conform or be disowned by family members. Cast out to the world as being defective in mental emotional spirit. I don't want people to be proud they are gay, or march in pride celebrations. I want individuals who don't have a problem, to realize its more complicated than just waking up one day and deciding that you are now straight and cured. It doesn't happen that way, and I wish tolerance was more afforded to these issues, than bible quoting constantly of dismembering yourself to get into a kngdom that hasn't even started yet! The race that is on right now, is for the 144k seats in the heavens. When the race starts for the survival into the new system, holy spirit will be there to help these ones deal with their issues. Until then, it is only possible to reform oneself to a degree.
David: some christians do understand that in todays society, todays mixed up world, there are also many factors that can cause someone to believe & act out the 'homosexuality characteristics'....firstly, the physical factor, from the mother's hormones during the 'first trimester'...I read a book about this called "BrainSex". and it clearly stated that it had been proven that during this critical time, of gestation, when the foetus is flooded with hormones, if the mother is or has been suffering tremendous stressful situation, that can affect the hormone threshold, and cause chromosome alteration..its awhile since reading this book, but certain information that helps to understand, from God's viewpoint, how someone 'stands'...
you could try to look up a website called "Elihu,s books" or something like that, i will try to find the information, where "Elihu" makes the statement, that it is not for anyone to judge, but if someone knows the bible admonition about this matter, it is their responsibility to "control" with help from above, Prayer & meditation and getting some counselling would help too, but beware, there are apples and oranges out there , choose carefully who you 'open' your life up to.....may the true God offer you consolation in prayer

Your comment above in October 1st about the 'patriarchs' there's a scripture in Hebrews chpt 11 : 8-13 -16 regarding the fact that these men & women of great faith were 'chosen' by God as His Witnesses and proved worthy of their calling, and because of their great FAITH were included in that "CITY" built by God himself, in the Heavens. Paul said in verses 39,40 they would not "be made perfect before US"
