Watchman Podcast, Episode #27
This program considers a question regarding what is going on with the well-publicized date of May 21, 2011, for Rapture. Also, JW's are expecting the WT to be attacked durin the tribulation, how is that different than what Watchman preaches? First thing, I am sure you will agree that the following Rev and Matt accounts are speaking of the same event, right?
Rev 6:12 And I saw when he opened the sixth seal, and a great earthquake occurred; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the entire moon became as blood, 13 and the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as when a fig tree shaken by a high wind casts its unripe figs. 14 And the heaven departed as a scroll that is being rolled up, and every mountain and [every] island were removed from their places. 15 And the kings of the earth and the top-ranking ones and the military commanders and the rich and the strong ones and every slave and [every] free person hid themselves in the caves and in the rock-masses of the mountains. 16 And they keep saying to the mountains and to the rock-masses: “Fall over us and hide us from the face of the One seated on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb, 17 because the great day of their wrath has come, and who is able to stand?”
Matt 24: 29 “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30 And then the sign of the Son of man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will beat themselves in lamentation, and they will see the Son of man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And he will send forth his angels with a great trumpet sound, and they will gather his chosen ones together from the four winds, from one extremity of the heavens to their other extremity.
If you agreed that they are the same period then you can understand that the opening of the 6th seal happens after the tribulation. At that time Jesus will arrive with power and great glory. What will he do when he arrives? Ch 25;verses 31-33 say:
31 “When the Son of man arrives in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit down on his glorious throne. 32 And all the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate people one from another, just as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33 And he will put the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on his left.
That is why there are those in Rev asking for the mountains and rocks to fall over them to hide them, from his judgment. Also why it says in Matt that they will beat themselves in lamentation.
People are terrified because he has arrived and is judging, not because the world went into it’s collapse faze which obvious had to happen earlier which would be prior to the GT or what can said to be what starts it, the beginning. But the 6th seal can’t correspond with the collapse because it is with his arrival and that is after the GT.
Again they are terrified because of “the One seated on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb, 17 because the great day of their wrath has come”
Yes when this system goes down Satan will present his solution, the 8th king, the savior of the world.
But as far as people being terrified because of the wrath of the Lamb, it would have to be after the 8th king’s 42 months. They would know they are SOL at that point for going along with the NWO. If that were not the case and we went by your time line, and it was the start of the 8th king just having been put in place, then why be terrified at his wrath before you look to the 8th king has your solution when you can just look to him?
I could be completely wrong in the way that I am reading into it, but that is how I am seeing it. Can you explain your stance on the timing of the opening of the 6th seal?
I admit all these prophecies are pretty entertaining, but it does remind me of the Bible. Once they start preforming miracles and signs, though that's when I'll start to think something strange is going on.
24 But Thomas, one of the twelve, who was called The Twin, was not with them when Jesus came. 25 Consequently the other disciples would say to him: “We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them: “Unless I see in his hands the print of the nails and stick my finger into the print of the nails and stick my hand into his side, I will certainly not believe.”

I happen to like the Watchman's podcast. This is a public forum. In the real world, you have to live with people that don't subscribe to your concept of reality. That might be enough to make me an enemy in your eyes, but not all people on the Internet are as childish and emotionally shallow as you are, Proxy.
If me being here makes you uncomfortable, I really don't care. Just because you are butt hurt means nothing to me. If you don't like it, tuff. Take it up with God. Maybe if you pray really hard I'll be raptured away on May 21. LOL

Are you an independent trucker? Are you keeping as busy as the other truck drivers or is everyone's business starting to slow down? I mean, the fleet drivers are always busy such as wal-mart.

I don't pay for gas. You only have to pay for your truck expenses if you own your own truck, but they make upwards of about $60,000 to $80,000 a year, so owner operators can afford gas -- trust me. It all makes sense when you look at the big picture. Why do prices go up at your grocery store when gas prices rise? Everything arrives on trucks -- including TVs, produce, milk, cars, SUVs, skittles, hotdog buns, etc. When gas goes up, so does the price of everything else. But all joking aside, it's a lot of fun to travel. I have Internet in my truck. It's like an efficiency apartment.
And a thousand dollars a week isn't bad, and that's average going into my second year. Last week I was in Vegas -- worked through the week monday through friday, had the weekend off again, so I went to an awesome magic show. In Tenseness a few weeks ago, I was waiting on a load. Had a few days to kill. I parked the truck and toured a huge underground cave. I'd recommend this job to anyone capable of life on the road. Nothing compares.

Like you say, that group predicting "the end on May 21st", could get lucky and gain some credibility and a following from it. In one of the video clips a man belonging to this group, says that it will start with a massive earthquake. That is entirely possible. We could have a great 9.x earthquake next Saturday, we might have one this Saturday, or maybe tomorrow, Friday - who knows?
Have you noticed that nearly all the news articles discussing the "May 21st" story are all mentioning and mocking the so-called failed predictions of the Jehovah's Witnesses.

Yes, a greater emphasis is being placed on JWs. JWs can't get a break even when all things are quiet and smooth. There is always some screwball, psycho messing everything up.
People that know nothing about JWs always mock them. It makes them feel big and of course, there is always some ammo freely given by the JWs themselves. It is an on going process of filtration!
Earthquakes you say? It can be arranged. Give me your coordinates and the size of the quake needed. -LOL --Just joking --calm down!
I just read about a man who killed himself back in 1994 when Camping's original rapture did not come. I found one video referencing the event. This might happen again. He has much more followers now than he did back in 1994. Since these people think finding themselves on earth May 22 means they were left behind. Many had stated this numerous times. It is no stretch to imagine someone else killing themselves because of Camping's date setting.

Glad to hear from you. I get tired of people in general attacking anything and anyone that uses the name Jehovah. Hence forth, JWs catch the most flak. And yes, they ask for this treatment many times by their own actions and dogma. But then, I'm getting soft in my old age! I would much rather negotiate and talk about a problem but sometimes, much more is needed!--LMAO
Also, just hurting anyone for no real "survival" reason is heavy duty. To "attack" someone for their JW beliefs which are peaceful beliefs anyway, is pretty bad. However, I could see a personal rumble with some bros if the attitude got out of hand as is often the case. ----"You know what I mean on this one! ---LOL" Some people including myself at times, needs a good slap upside the head simply to get the point! -LOL I know, so much for "peace" huh? -lol
