    Dwight EisenhowerPresident Barak Obama is not the first president to have his relgious faith called into question. Eishenhower's upbringing associated with the International Bible Students (later Jehovah's Witnesses) was considered a huge political liability given their anit-war, non-patriotic stance. Eisenhower family - 1902Although some reliable sources claim that Ike was very involved in the faith (Mrs. Ida Eishenhower was an anointed Christian.The family had regular congregation meetings in their Witchta, Kansas, home and frequently entertained traveling representatives of the Watchtower Society) he later disavowed any connection to the Watchtower, claiming to have been baptiszed into some sect called the River Bretheren.
