Many Will Be Stumbled - Will You Be?

On the night of Jesus’ arrest and trial he forewarned his apostles that they, one and all, would be stumbled in fulfillment of prophecy. When Peter protested and vowed that even if all the others should fall he would never do so, Jesus issued his own prophecy, of sorts, foretelling that Peter would deny him three times before a cock crowed to herald the dawn. And of course, both prophecies came true. All the apostles scattered in fear and Peter three times vehemently denied he even knew Jesus.
Jesus also foretold that during the conclusion “many will be stumbled.” What did Jesus mean? Was he referring to true Christians?
The Watchtower Society teaches that the worldwide preaching of Jehovah’s Witnesses is fulfilling the aspect of that very same prophecy in which Jesus also foretold that the good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the world, and then the end will come.
In Peter-like cocksureness, though, the leadership of Jehovah’s Witnesses insist that those many who will stumble could not possibly be from among the number who are engaged in preaching the good news of the kingdom. Their reasoning behind drawing that conclusion is that no mass stumbling of Christians took place in the 1st century prior to the desolation of Jerusalem. But is that reasoning sound?
Thinking Jehovah’s Witnesses do well to consider the fact that there are many aspects of the sign Jesus gave that did not have any fulfillment in the 1st century. For example, Jesus said that men will become faint with fear in contemplating the dreadful things coming upon the entire inhabited earth. Also, Jesus said that the very powers of the heaven would be shaken. Obviously, those aspects of the sign were not in evidence in the days of the apostles. The reasoning of the Watchtower and her appointed spokesmen is not scripturally sound.
Now consider the text in question in its context.
“For nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be food shortages and earthquakes in one place after another. All these things are a beginning of pangs of distress.Then people will deliver you up to tribulation and will kill you, and you will be objects of hatred by all the nations on account of my name. Then, also, many will be stumbled and will betray one another and will hate one another. And many false prophets will arise and mislead many; and because of the increasing of lawlessness the love of the greater number will cool off. But he that has endured to the end is the one that will be saved. And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come.”
Jehovah’s Witnesses certainly have been objects of hatred by peoples of all the nations, being reviled as unpatriotic traitors, home wreckers, child killers, dangerous cultists and seditionists. Still, excepting the Nazi and Soviet persecutions, and the wave of persecution in Malawi in the 1970’s, Jehovah’s Witnesses have not been put to death in large numbers.
Be that as it may, the more relevant question is now reiterated: Are those who are destined to stumble and betray one another and hate one another the same Christians who had formerly preached the good news? In other words, are Jehovah’s Witnesses going to fulfill the words of Jesus by a mass stumbling?
Consider another accounting of Jesus’ words in the 13th chapter of Mark, where the Lord foretold: “But when they are leading you along to deliver you up, do not be anxious beforehand about what to speak; but whatever is given you in that hour, speak this, for you are not the ones speaking, but the holy spirit is. Furthermore, brother will deliver brother over to death, and a father a child, and children will rise up against parents and have them put to death; and you will be objects of hatred by all people on account of my name. But he that has endured to the end is the one that will be saved.”
In the passage above Jesus is forewarning his followers who would be alive during the conclusion that they will be hauled before authorities, and handed over to death by brothers and family members; but the one enduring to the end is the one who will be saved.
To date Jehovah’s Witnesses have not experienced any of what Jesus foretold, except in isolated instances. True, a relative few witnesses have been arrested for preaching and other activities deemed illegal by the state, but on those occasions have Jehovah’s Witnesses foregone legal counsel and solely relied upon the holy spirit for their defense? I have never heard of such an instance.
Furthermore, we have not seen brothers betraying one another in matters of life and death. The circumstances simply have not developed that would foster that sort of animalistic behavior. But, the point is, given the overlap between the two Gospel accounts, it ought to be clear that the many who will be stumbled and betray and hate one another are brothers and family members of the persecuted. If that were not the case, then why would it be necessary for the faithful to endure to the end? What will they have to endure if not the misleading influence of false prophets and the mass falling away and betrayal of their former brothers, family and friends?
But what could possibly cause great numbers of Jehovah’s Witnesses to stumble, leading them to hate, betray and deliver to death those whom they presently regard as their beloved brothers?
Jesus in GethsemaneGo back to the night of Jesus’ arrest. What was the contributing factor that caused the apostles to stumble and which impelled Peter to deny that he even knew Jesus? Fear of man, certainly. But that alone cannot explain it, since as you recall, Peter initially drew his sword and was ready to fight for Jesus.
On a deeper level it was their unfounded expectations regarding Jesus’ mission itself. All during his ministry, the apostles and all of his disciples were laboring under the false notion that Jesus was going to restore the earthly kingdom of Israel right then. As silly as it may sound, initially they had no idea that the kingdom of the heavens they were sent out to preach was actually a heavenly kingdom. That is why Peter went to far as to try and dissuade Jesus from his self-sacrificial course.
Even after his resurrection, even after some of their number had been rebuked as ‘senseless ones and slow in heart to believe the prophets,’ even moments before his ascension back to heaven, the disciples asked Jesus: “Lord, are you restoring the kingdom to Israel at this time?”
Even though prior to his death Jesus tried to explain things to them, the Scriptures say they were not permitted to see through it. (Luke 9:43-45) In other words, it was Jehovah’s will that they not comprehend the reality of Jesus’ death until after his resurrection. The reason being, Satan had demanded to have the prospective immortal kings of the kingdom to sift them as wheat, and as with Christ Jesus himself, Jehovah accommodated the Devil by allowing the apostles to have their faith tested by subjecting them to confusion and persecution.
In view of the foregoing, renewing the question previously posed: What could possibly cause great numbers of Jehovah’s Witnesses to stumble, leading them to hate, betray and deliver to death those whom they presently regard as their beloved brothers?
The answer is: The unfounded expectations fostered by the Watchtower Society itself. To the point, the Watchtower’s 1914 invisible parousia doctrine is a massive stumbling block, destined to upend many.
A few days ago I had a conversation with one of Jehovah’s Witnesses that approached me on the street. Straightaway I told him I was disfellowshipped because of having doctrinal issues with the Watchtower regarding 1914 (among other things). I went on to relate that the world now stands on the brink of world war, global financial collapse, food shortages, earthquakes and pestilences, on a scale that would make the events associated with 1914 seem insignificant by comparison. He thought for a moment and then responded: ‘Let’s suppose what you are saying is true, don’t you think the faithful and discreet slave will make an adjustment and publish new light?’ The conversation pretty much ended at that point.
But let us consider the question he posed. Supposing what e-watchman is saying is true, and let’s suppose also the faithful and discreet slave makes an adjustment and announces that Christ’s parousia has commenced at some point in the near future, how might that be received by Jehovah’s Witnesses? For a certainty, it would not be well received at all. What credibility could Bethel possibly retain? They would be asking Jehovah’s Witnesses to disregard the volumes and volumes of material published by them over the past century - touted as the most nutritious spiritual food available from the all wise and knowing slave of God. Again, what credibility would the Governing Body have at that point?
Dating back to Russell and Rutherford and up to the present, the leadership of the Watchtower is responsible for stumbling untold numbers of Bible Students and Jehovah’s Witnesses by their numerous gaffs and goofs - like the 1975 fiasco, and more recent flips and flops related to “this generation” and other trivia, not to mention the more serious sins regarding their secret partnership with the United Nations and atrocious way in which allegations of child sexual abuse have been mishandled - including secret million-dollar payouts and silencing victims with legal gag orders. Doubtless, it would be absolutely devastating to the faith of many of Jehovah’s Witnesses if the Watchtower were to suddenly jettison the 1914, invisible presence doctrine. And yet, the future arrival of Christ will force them to do that very thing.
It is not the intent of this article to consider the falsity of the 1914 doctrine. Virtually every aspect of the Watchtower’s invisible parousia doctrine has been held up to scrutiny in various articles on this site. But just consider one facet.
WHO REALLY IS THE FAITHFUL AND DISCREET SLAVE?
As all of Jehovah’s Witnesses know, the Watchtower Society teaches that besides having been made king in 1914, in 1918 Jesus is believed to have inspected the spiritual house of God and at that time appointed a faithful slave over all of his earthly belongings. But in the nearly 100 years since then the Watchtower Society has continued to exhort all of Jehovah’s Witnesses to stay on the watch. Stay on the watch for what? Presumably, for the coming of Christ, again. But if Christ came in 1918 to judge his household of servants, why must Christians stay awake and on the watch for his coming yet again? An examination of the 12th chapter of Luke reveals that the Watchtower’s teaching regarding the master appointing his faithful slave in 1918 is a fraud.
As a prelude to a detailed discussion of the faithful and unfaithful slaves, Jesus said the following: “Let your loins be girded and your lamps be burning, and you yourselves be like men waiting for their master when he returns from the marriage, so that at his arriving and knocking they may at once open to him. Happy are those slaves whom the master on arriving finds watching! Truly I say to you, He will gird himself and make them recline at the table and will come alongside and minister to them. And if he arrives in the second watch, even if in the third, and finds them thus, happy are they! But know this, that if the householder had known at what hour the thief would come, he would have kept watching and not have let his house be broken into. You also, keep ready, because at an hour that you do not think likely the Son of man is coming.”
Peter than asked Jesus whom he was speaking to, saying: “‘Lord, are you saying this illustration to us or also to all?’ And the Lord said: ‘Who really is the faithful steward, the discreet one, whom his master will appoint over his body of attendants to keep giving them their measure of food supplies at the proper time? Happy is that slave, if his master on arriving finds him doing so! I tell you truthfully, He will appoint him over all his belongings.”
An astute reader will notice that there are two appointments of the slaves. The first appointment the master appoints his slaves over his body of attendants, to give them their measure of food at the proper time. The second appointment is contingent upon the slaves' faithfulness in his first assignment. And, as Jesus indicated, the second appointment would take place when the Son of man arrives unexpectedly, at an hour the slaves do not expect.
Here is the dilemma for Jehovah’s Witnesses. If the Son of man arrived in 1914 and appointed the faithful slave over everything, why is it necessary to stay in expectation of the coming of the Son of man decades after he supposedly came? None of Jehovah’s Witnesses can provide a sensible answer.
And another thing to ponder, the Watchtower claims that it is providing spiritual food at the proper time, a claim which is not being brought into dispute here, but if that is the case, why is there no distinction between the two appointments? Worded differently, the master’s appointment of the faithful slave over all of his belongings ought to be a promotion, should it not? So, if the Watchtower Society was long ago given that second appointment and rewarded with greater responsibilities, why is it that the organizational slave is still doing the work of dispensing food at the proper time? In reality, the second appointment that places the faithful slave over all the master’s belongings symbolizes their being received into the kingdom of heaven and ruling with Christ. Obviously, that has not taken place, otherwise the feeding program would have come to a conclusion.
This is why Jesus told his disciples that he was coming at an hour they do not think likely, the reason being, Jehovah’s Witnesses have been deluded into imagining the Son of man has already come to judge his slaves. To be sure, the very judgment will involve jettisoning the Watchtower’s entire prophetic exegesis and accepting the authentic arrival of the Son of man. Many will be unwilling to do so - hence, “many will be stumbled.”
THROUGH THE FIRE
Going back to his last night with his disciples, Jesus told them that the shepherd would be struck and the sheep scattered in fulfillment of prophecy. What prophecy was Jesus referring to? Zechariah 13:7, which, in context states: “‘O sword, awake against my shepherd, even against the able-bodied man who is my associate,’ is the utterance of Jehovah of armies. ‘Strike the shepherd, and let those of the flock be scattered; and I shall certainly turn my hand back upon those who are insignificant.’”

That aspect of prophecy was fulfilled that very night when Jesus was struck. However, Zechariah 13:8-9 was not. It reads: “‘And it must occur in all the land,’ is the utterance of Jehovah, ‘that two parts in it are what will be cut off and expire; and as for the third part, it will be left remaining in it. And I shall certainly bring the third part through the fire; and I shall actually refine them as in the refining of silver, and examine them as in the examining of gold. It, for its part, will call upon my name, and I, for my part, will answer it. I will say, ‘It is my people,’ and it, in its turn, will say, ‘Jehovah is my God.’”
As is evident by the vision of the remaining 14th chapter, the prophecy is intended to have a second, grander fulfillment when Christ comes as the Refiner. The Watchtower Society well knows that Christ’s shepherding is accomplished through the office of men who serve as Christian under-shepherds. Since it is impossible for the Great Shepherd in heaven to be struck again, it is his earthly shepherds, the faithful slave, which is due to be struck and a majority - “two parts” - of the sheep, are due to be cut off - stumbled - as Christ foretold. Going back to the 12 chapter of Luke, did not Jesus say that even the faithful slave who acted unfaithfully due to ignorance will be flogged with a few strokes?
Returning to the conversation I had with the minister on the street and his question regarding the faithful slave publishing new light regarding the falsity of 1914; bluntly, that is not going to happen. Read the 29th chapter of Isaiah, there God’s earthly spokesman is laid low and silenced, as if his voice rises up from the earth in a mere whisper - like a ghostly spirit medium. The context goes on to reveal that God’s holy place will be surrounded by enemies with pointed stakes. That, of course, is exactly what Jesus said would happen to the holy place when it is desolated by a disgusting thing during the tribulation. That means that the faithful slave will be silenced at a critical moment when the sheep look to him for guidance. (See article: What is the Great Tribulation and the Holy Place?)
So, that will be the great test - as if through fire? Up to this point Jehovah’s Witnesses are said to be in the truth, which basically involves following a formulaic religious discipline laid out by the Watchtower. It centers around going to tightly scripted meetings, going out in service and offering Watchtower literature in well-rehearsed presentations, and so forth. But the time has approached for the last phase of God’s purpose to be accomplished. It is Jehovah’s will that those who call upon his name be subjected to the Refiner’s fire, in order to mold them into a people who are more devoted to him and Christ and no longer mere followers of the earthly organization.
The Refiner’s fire will be manifest in the tyrannical government imposed upon the world then. Already, at this late hour, the world stands poised to plunge into chaos and despotism at the outbreak of world war, global financial collapse and anarchy.
In the Garden of Gethsemane when Jesus was arrested he said that it was the hour of the authority of darkness. Jehovah’s Witnesses must likewise also be subjected to the hour of the authority of darkness. The hour of darkness will coincide with the symbolic one hour (in reality the one hour is three and a half years), when the world will be subjected to the tyranny of the last king.
Keep in mind that leading up to the hour of the authority of darkness Satan entered into Judas and moved him to betray Jesus. Those who belong to Christ will fare no better. During the concluding hour of this world all of the chosen ones will be killed, likely betrayed by their former brothers and family members. No doubt the Devil will move the many disaffected and stumbled former Watchtower devotees to betray their former brothers to the authorities.
It is my hope that having this foreknowledge will prepare a few for the stumbling that is soon to occur.

the stumbling of JW's and all other Christians on earth, that Jesus warned about, is not going to be the result of the commencement of His 'genuine parousia,' as you suppose,
nor as a consequence of the WT slaves' supposed dumping of the 1914 fraud - which is irrelevant and mostly unknown, to the masses of Christians addressed here by Jesus in His end-time discourse.
No. quite the opposite is going to take place, in that the kingdom which JW's have proclaimed as the solution to mankind's problems, will indeed soon take over complete control of the inhabited earth,
and miraculously transform it into the happy, global community of docile and rule worshipping plastic people which the conditioning of the WT, the Bahia’s and all other Christian outfits have produced over the years.
The stumbling, or hour of test, arises when a minority of Christians thus notice the desolating abomination impersonating the kingdom of God, and Christ's parousia - which both you and the WT-anointed are advocating and anticipating -
and start speaking out against the 'blessing' of mankind as works of the Devil, and are consequently handed over to the new world kingdom administration as traitors and apostates and evil haters of mankind.
All 'paradise soon' JW's, along with the rest of Christendom's new world enthusiasts, will follow the incoming kingdom of the global, multicultural brotherhood of mankind with admiration,
and persecute anyone not bowing down before their new world organization, which has been ruling the world all along, as they say, invisibly since 1914.
In other words, what both you and the WT-anointed are expecting and proclaiming here is all going to happen as you prophesy, only it will be, once again, wrong god, wrong kingdom - and that is what the 'stumbling,' the 'hour of test' and the 'operation of error' will be all about.

Proxy, you've said it as YHWH has revealed it to Gods servants the prophets up until now.
As the obvious becomes clearer, the gap between what E-Watchman says
and the Truth of our Master's arrival becomes ever clearer,
and the similarities between E-Watchman and the WT org become more and more obvious!
I wonder if the day is fast approaching when he will start to ban the likes of anyone who opposes his beliefs, seeing them as a form of "apostasy", such ones as seemingly being those who are in denial of the true "coming of Christ."
If not now, it will be when Satan transforms himself into "wonder Christ" and dazzles his kingdom of "peace and security" before him and his future-soon "WWW.reformJW-Watchman.org."
When Jesus spoke to his disciples of the "Awful Horror" or "Disgusting thing" that causes desolation,
such a thing would only prove to be "Awful" or "Disgusting" before those
who were to discern this as being such (eg. his "true" disciples; anointed).
For the majority of god-bothering Christians still alive when such events take place,
these will not see this event as something to reject,
as it will appear before them with many a miraculous sign and portent to be the 'genuine parousia'
of Christ,
long-awaited for and desperately sought after by all nominal Christians.
The trap being that such ones who NOW believe that the "Great Apostasy",
"Christ's Parousia" and
"Satan's transforming himself into an Angel of Light"
have already occurred, will only find themselves being enslaved into bowing down
to a New World Order of "Peace and Security",
with nothing but heartfelt admiration to this worlds "Grand Ruler/Saviour-
Satan, "the Lamb with two horns."
When Christ arrives afterwards to reveal "The Great Apostasy", all self-righteous new-age Christian converts
who ride with their newly found "prostitute God"
will realise they had left their God for another and plead with the True God saying:
"but Lord, didn't we prophesy in your name, expel demons in your name....."
"Woe to those who crave for the day of Jehovah!"

You point out how Jehovah's witnesses have been teaching fraud for almost a hundred years, but you feel that Jehovah's witnesses are Gods modern chosen nation, and that they come close to preaching the truth?!
Russel, and Rutherford were both false prophets. The whole Jehovah witness doctrine is based off 1914, a lie. This lie of 1914, 1918 is what gave power to the Jehovah witness governing body. The governing body of Jehovah's witnesses have even give a false sign of 42 months, from Dec. 1914 to June 1918. This seems miraculous to Jehovah witnesses cause they believe it.
Watchman, before you were even born, Jehovah's witnesses have been teaching lies. Even with all the truth that you say they teach, they have, and they will, always teach lies as well, as you know.
You know that the father of the lie is the devil.
" But anything not sacred and anyone that carries on a disgusting thing and a lie will in no way enter into it; only those written in the Lamb's scroll of life will. " (Revelation 21:27)
" Outside are the dogs and those who practice spiritism and the fornicators and the murders and the idolaters and everyone liking and carry on a lie. " (Revelation 22:15)
All the bible says is, ' a lie ' . We must be very careful of what we teach. You base some of your teachings on Jehovah's witnesses. You might have to swallow the same pill your giving the watchtower one day. Remember Romans 2:1?
" You have an anointing from the Set Apart One, and you all know. I have not written to you because you do not know the truth, but because you know it, and because no lie is of the truth. " (1 John 2:20)
" A faithful witness is one that will not lie, but a false witness launches forth mere lies. " (Proverbs 14:5)
Jehovah's witnesses are not a faithful witness, they lie. No organized religion is, they all lie, in one way or the other.
" Circumcise your heart, and do not stiffen your neck. Yahweh your Almighty One is the Almighty One of Almighty One's! He is the great, the powerful, and the awesome Almighty One who does not show partiality nor take a bribe. " (Deuteronomy 10:16-17)

Jehovah's Witnesses are victimized by false prophets. Read the essay WOE TO THE STUPID PROPHETS There are only a handful of men who determine what is taught by the WTS. Jehovah's Witnesses have no input whatsoever. But, the 1914 invisible parousia doctrine has all the earmarks of being the foretold operation of error that God allows to go forth to his people.

Yes, only a handful of men determine which lies are taught by Jehovah's witnesses, and the rest of religions in the world operate the same way.
The Jehovah's witnesses that I know well, don't even care that much about 1914, they claim.
The ones that I know say, " if the faithful and discreet slave are wrong about 1914 then it's just a mistake. God uses imperfect men, so there's going to be mistakes, " they believe. They say they don't serve because of some date, 1914. Many of the older Jehovah's witnesses that I know will stick to the organization no matter what happens. I know an elder that has been serving for 80 years. He's lived threw all the lies and changes. His attachment to the organization seems unbreakable. All this time they have been training the younger generation to be the same way.
" I'd rather be wrong with Jehovah's organization, than right by myself, " is what another elder told me.
They say the faithful and discreet slave are not prophets. In their own Insight Book under ' prophets ' , it says that a prophet doesn't mean someone who predicts the future all the time, that's not the root meaning of the word. It simply is someone who speaks out, before, in front of people. The Jehovah's witnesses that I know don't even know this, and it's in their own publication.
The governing body teach to be loyal to the organization no matter what, cause they know that all truth comes to the light. If the governing body of Jehovah's witnesses does what it was designed to do, just like all the other false prophets in the world, to deceive, to blind, and to brainwash; most loyal Jehovah's witnesses will stick to the organization to the death.
They say, " who else uses the name Jehovah, what other organization goes door to door, who else is united world wide in worshiping the same way? " These are the main things that they look to.

yes, that complete trust and imputing of good motive to an organization of men,
no matter what change of teaching or conduct they may yet come up with,
is really a form of worshipful loyalty that rightfully belongs only to God Himself,
and then only with reservations and conditions such as God's friend Abraham
placed on the Almighty. (Ge.18:22-25)
If even Jehovah has to prove Himself righteous at the tremendous cost of His
Only-Begotten Son to be worthy of our loyalty,
how much more so is it inappropriate and courting disaster to bestow such
honour on mere mortal man, even if they were as honest and good intentioned
as they claim to be.
Is God really going to share His glory with a dungy organization that demands
loyalty to itself as a sign of subjection to our Maker?
If Jehovah were to demand submission to idolatry as a requirement for 'pure
worship' - as implied by the WT heresy - then He would really be as morally
bankrupt and contemptible as they thus make Him out to be!
The judgment is, therefore, between God and the WT-anointed, where we all
have to decide just who to believe and support.
And, of course, after God's extermination decided upon, Christianity will be
restored here on earth, without their unscriptural sectarian distinctions.
Those who survive, and those resurrected alike, will cringe at the mere
mention of terms such as 'Jehovah's Witnesses,' 'Exclusive Brethren'
and so forth,
with which they used to decorate themselves as a hallmark of their
righteousness before men.
"The haughty eyes of earthling man must become low, and the loftiness of
men must bow down; and Jehovah alone must be put on high in that day."
I hope that the CIA or any other alphabet organization is not part of the top of the WTBTS. When people blindly follow other people, they really can be made to do anything. Remember Jim Jones,don't drink the koolaid, or maybe a perfected program. Do not make a fake paradise AKA New World Order.I do not know, but being a former JW, I have only seen a handful who do not hang on every word from headquarters!

Around February of this year, elders gave an announcement for everyone in the kingdom halls to write down and give them all the info on how many people live in your house. They wanted you to write down all the phone numbers of everyone in your house.
The reason they gave for doing this, and wanting your information, is in case of an earthquake, or some disaster. They said this would aid them in helping you in disaster relief. This is in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Most brothers and sisters where not hesitant to turn over their information to the elders. Complete trust and obedience to the request of the elders, from the governing body.
To me, this was alarming. If and when religious persecution happens to Jehovah's witnesses in America, they will be easy pickings. They willing give valuable information. How can you go underground when you keep records and statistics of everything that you do? Yes I remember those times when the organization was urging the congregation to do up a preparedness plan.
I even helped in this by designing a database to store all the names and phone numbers and addresses of all of the congregation's members and closest kin.
I do not know whether they have utilized it since I was disfellowshiped from the congregation.
At the time I did not see any danger in this myself, I thought that it was a good idea that the elders could have at their finger tips all the phone numbers and addresses and so on.
But now looking at it from a different perspective, yes I do see the dangers.
Unfortunately it does not appear that this plan has worked in our area when the floods were on, because I have heard a report from one sister who was still an active witness and associating with the congregation, that she did not even get one phone call to see if she was alright.
And she was very concerned because the flood waters had almost reached her doorstep.
So much for the preparedness plan and concern for all the congregation's members, no matter how insignificant they are in the scheme of things.

I got to agree with Eiben scrood. This is a thought that I have pondered for quite some time. My understanding of the scriptures, (which i hope is incorrect) is that most people, including JWs' will be toast if they happen to be unfortunate enough to be alive during armageddon. However those who were LUCKY ENOUGH to have kicked the bucket before that time will recieve a ressurection. I just cant be believe that. If that is indeed the case, I pray that someone will put a gun to my head and pull the trigger now, or I croke on a chicken bone.

A lowly servant - I don't feel like you addressed the main issue. Why are those torched at Armageddon any more wicked than the billions who died before the mass killing? Why should the dead in Hades receive a free ticket in? They live however they want, die and then boom! They wake up in Paradise! That's pretty good - for them. But what of the hapless rice farmer in China, the peasant living in rural India, the Muslim in Iran, or the mentally retarded boy living in Iowa who all happen to be breathing when God decides to exterminate billions at Armageddon?
That is not justice. That is arbitrary and makes no sense.

If I remember correctly, the bible teaches that the 2 witnesses will do the final worldwide preaching work, but only a tiny fraction of the earth's population at that time listen to them, while the rest celebrate their deaths. It seems that this final witnessing work of the 2 witnesses'll seal the fate of those who'll perish or who will survive during armageddon. Correct me if I'm wronged.

I'll give this a shot.
It seems to me that Satan benefit greatly from making it easy for religious organizations (ROs). ROs help to mislead people from serving God because they worship idols, while thinking they worship God. Governments have to treat all ROs the same, just so they appear to be impartial to all religions, and that benefits organization(s) that really worship God. However, in some none democratic societies governments don't approve of some religions. A case in point is JW org is discriminated against in some countries.
Also, religions keep most people's behavior in check and that benefit societies and the authorities. I imagine a world devoid of religions and everyone is out for themselves. It's like a jungle where the strong and cunning have it all.

Men have the capabilities now and in the future, to be far more worse than prior generations. Why?

Stars are angels. The dragon (seeing one) will bring a third of the angels to the earth. These angels will influence mankind and teach them things that prior generations did not know, making wickedness worse and worse, taking it to another level.

There's no scripture that says that. This is NOT a biblical teaching. The dead will be JUDGED.

Organized religions cringe at the thought of not taking money. This is foolishness to them. Yet, Yahoshua NEVER took any money, or set up a contribution box, or passed a collection plate. He never used money to further kingdom interest on the earth.

The word bribe in Hebrew in Strong's Exhaustive Concordance is shochad, which comes from the word shachad. A primitive root of shachad; TO DONATE, i.e. Bribe--hire,give a reward.

I once felt the way you do about the billions who will die at Armageddon, but once you start to understand the scriptures and prophesies concerning this time it becomes much clearer. Remember there is an hour of test which will come upon the whole inhabited earth, everyone living at that time will either accept the mark of the beast or refuse it. Some believe this is during the three and a half year tribulation period, when satanic power will be in full swing. Those who refuse the mark will not be allowed to buy or sell. During this time we will witness many detestable things having seen the wickedness and persecution of faithful Christians should move any God fearing person to make a concious decision. And don't forget those who died before the great tribulation who are resurrected will have to pass the final test at the end of Christ's thousand year reign. Jehovah is a just God and he hates wickedness, he knows the heart condition of each and everyone of us, remember also Christ gave his life for all of us, what will we do for him when this hour of test is upon us.

Because the great tribulation has a beginning & a finale, involving primarily God's "two witnesses" or the Chosen ones, obviously there will be the "Harvest" sifting the weeds from the wheat, prior to the commencement of the g.t. We are
surely in that time period right now....If you look at Revelation 11:5,6 you will see that no harm comes to the 2 witnesses
during their work, in fact the Body of Christ on earth at this time, will have the power that the prophet Elijah had, to
destroy opposition in or to fulfill their assignment. I found Pearl's explanation of "Wormwood" as the fallen star, as a
burning lamp, who releases the Locusts from their abyss in Revelation 8 & 9....followed by the release of the 4angels
bound at the river Euphrates....to be succinct, and wholly satisfying. Truly a revelation, for the long suffering Job-like
heirs to God's Kingdom who are seeking death, after long years of being misled by a religious organisation given their

Yes I have read it we are so blessed to have such insight revealed to us by the annointed. If I'm correct Pearl Doxsey still attends meetings and even go's out on the ministry, I have been attending meetings again after many years myself, the reason being is that I prayed earnestly about it and tried to ignore the signs I was given, but realised that's where I'm needed at this present time. Now that I have returned I understand why, there are many lost disheartened sheep who know things aren't right within the organisation and it's these particular ones which have gravitated toward me. I pray in time Jehovah will allow me to help such individuals to see the true light which Doxsey and Robert explains so well in their writings. Never has either of these anointed suggested that we leave the organisation, because if they did, I'd be very concerened as to their motive.
I think we who have had the veil lifted and see the truth for what it really is have a different witnessing to do in the very near future and that is to those who have been misled by the watchtowers elite.
I'ts was very hard for me to go back, but if you knew the Titanic was sinking and your loved ones were on board without life jackets, wouldn't you do your utmost to give them the spare ones you had?
More likely there will be a time when we will need to jump ship, but until then I'll rely upon Jehovah for his direction.

Today's video of the day "Empire VS republic end game" reminds me of the foretold "pushing" of the 2 kings north and south. According to the video, the reigning king of the south himself is identified as the super agent of the king of the north, with the assignment of destroying the nation of the south itself. The nation of the south is fighting back from being swallowing up by the king of the north in the form of disconsent and threats of withdrawing support for its king. Is this really the foretold pushing that we're witnessing? If this is it, then the expression "we're living in interesting time" is more than appropriate.
Maybe I'm reading too much into it and is a case of imagination running wild. Sorry for going off topic and thanking for posting the video.

Ironically, Pearl is right, in that the tribulation will be against the WT-anointed - WHEN it starts, that is -

I understand how Pearl applies the 5 month torment of the life span of a locust to those among the WT-anointed, who though spiritually aware, are suffering in silence,
but I can't understand how someone truly enlightened with the Holy Spirit could possibly spend his whole life in the apostate WT in submission to their lies and deceptions.
Revelation tells us that not only are those liking and carrying on a lie candidates for the lake of fire, but so are the cowards who silently go along with the WT lies, those not speaking up on behalf of the truth.
Therefore, Revelation 9 is clearly an end time scenario affecting the whole world, not just the tiny JW sect and its idolaters, although the imagery conveyed is rather apt in application to the WT-anointed.
Jesus knew Judas was going to betray him. Did the Apostles stop following him because of Judas betrayal? No. They knew they were accountable to & reliant upon Jehovah, not man. Imperfection happens. I agree with a lot of what you mentioned in your post, and the witnesses do try and immitate Christ in the preaching work, and not going to war. But as for loving thy neighbour, I'm sorry but from what I have personally witnessed they see worldly people as how the Jews saw them "Goyim" they use Christianity whilst knocking on the doors, but outside that, I have heard the way worldly people are rediculed. They forget that the world are in ignorance and that they do not have the truth. True love is when something is done for no gain or recognition of hours and a pat on the back, but going and preaching to those under London Bridge in their sleeping bags bring them some soup on a cold night. As for sects etc, Robert has helped many including me, who was stumbled severly by what I learnt about Charles Taze Pyramidology and demonic pics within the watchtower mags. Yes I could have gone down the road of apostacy but was helped to see the operation of error, which will be revealed to those who's hearts who know the truth when they see it and feel it.

You may question my sanity but I can only go by the responses I get to my prayers. Even though Jesus threw out the money lenders and the tax collectors it didn't stop him from going to the temple and praying. He too knew that the present system was collapsing and would be replaced with Christianity, yet he aloud scripture to be fulfilled. We can't run before we can walk and only by observing the signs will we understand the unfolding prophesies. All I can do is rely on prayer which most of the time I have observed the answers recieved, which has been like a maze, sometimes not really understood, but it seems the nearer the end of this journey the clearer it all seems to become.

yes, but Jesus had to be killed by the Law for our transgressions, that we might be FREE from its condemnation, administered by the organization of death, to which YOU now want to be subject again.

I totaly agree with you - once a christian has his mind opened to the obvious falsehoods and the tight controlling nature of the entire organization of jw's. If you have with a spirit of mildness pointed out the obvious lies about prophecy with the hope that a re-adjustment will occur and if you have pleaded with loved ones to give consideration to these things - and then be brought before a judicial committe and accused of being apostate to Jehovah even though it was faithfulness to Jehovah,s word that was formost in your mind. And then disfellowshipped and tossed out as spiritual trash by all those whom you called brothers and sisters. Why would you ever return to this unclean group who want to control you so that you have no freedom of speech - This has happened to me and I can tell you that it is painful to lose friends and to hove your wife leave you because of this. But Jesus and Jehovah make up for all of this pain by his word and his spirit. He makes us know what our hope is and he assures us by his anointing of the truth that faithfulness to his word will not lead to disappointment.

thanks for relating your witness to the truth. It is really as Jesus said, he that loves brother, father, wife or self more than me, is not worthy of me,
and we can totally trust His word, because He Himself died for the truth as proof that the Father loved truth more than even His Only Begotten Son.
That is how Jesus became The Truth and His Father the God of Truth, for us, that we may also share their nature.
Truth is the real freedom that lies cannot deliver on, and that is why organisational worshippers are jealous of us, and hate us so much.
Worship in spirit and truth is by its very nature beyond their comprehension and ability to control and regulate, and that is why they instinctively oppose those practicing it.
They cannot come to the side of the truth because truth cannot be transmitted intellectually but is a condition of the heart, which can only be brought about by the grace of the Father in the revealing of His Son in us.
But as it is written, the wisdom we preach is foolishness to those who are perishing,
and again, the Stone that the builders rejected has become a Stone of stumbling to them because of their disobedience to the word of truth, which we bear witness of.
