    A Dirge for America

Egypt is featured prominently in the Bible. It was one of the first of what might be considered a modern nation, as opposed to a mere collection of tribes or loosely knit city-states.

In Bible times Egypt alternatingly gave refuge to God’s people and oppressed them.

The first mention of Egypt is in the book of Genesis, when Abraham’s great-grandson, Joseph, was sold into slavery in Egypt. But through Jehovah’s maneuvering the lowly sheepherder and then-inmate in a dank dungeon became the food Minister of all of Egypt, second in command to Pharaoh himself.

In time Joseph’s entire family, including his aged father, Jacob, came down to Egypt to find refuge from the famine that was also gripping the land of Canaan. But in subsequent generations, as the Israelites grew in number, outpacing the birthrate of the less-fertile Egyptians, other pharaohs who did not know Joseph began to oppress the children of Jacob. And of course, everyone is familiar with the great liberation that Jehovah brought about through Moses.

Centuries later when the kingdom of Babylon became the dominant regional power the Jews were tempted to turn to Egypt for their security instead of relying on Jehovah. As a result Jehovah determined to not only overthrow Judah but Egypt as well, by means of Nebuchadnezzar’s formidable Babylon.

But the subjugation of Egypt was not the end of Egypt. After the breakup of Alexander the Great’s sprawling empire Egypt came under the control of the Ptolemies. And as far as prophecy is concerned, at that point Egypt became the original king of the south. It should be noted too, shortly after Jesus Christ was born in Bethlehem of Judea God ordered his stepfather, Joseph, to take the child and its mother down to Egypt to avoid the murderous wrath of King Herod. Just as Jehovah called the sons of Jacob out of Egypt, so too, the prophecy was fulfilled in connection with Jesus: “Out of Egypt I called my son.”

Not only is Egypt prominently featured in connection with the history of God’s people, but the ancient land of the pyramids is also an integral part of Bible prophecy, foreshadowing things to come. How so?

Several things lead to that conclusion. One thing, at Daniel 11:42-43 Egypt is an obvious symbol for the king of the south. Even the Watchtower recognizes that. The significance of that is Egypt is to be subjugated by the king of the north during the time of the end. And it is also apparent that the subjugation is the end of “Egypt” as a dominant nation, since there is no further mention of the king of the south from that point. It is the sole king of the north who comes all the way to his end when he enters into conflict with Michael, the great prince.

Secondly, in the 19th chapter of Isaiah God sends a grand savior to his people in the aftermath of the subjugation of Egypt to a “hard master.” In the original setting the Jews who went down to Egypt were not delivered but were slaughtered at the hand of Nebuchadnezzar, by Jehovah’s decree. The prophecy is obviously referring to Christ, as the grand savior of his people during the time of the end.

Thirdly, the language employed by Ezekiel in connection with the fall of Egypt is very similar to the apocalyptic terminology Jesus used and as is also found in the book of Revelation regarding the great tribulation. For example, at Ezekiel 32:7-8 God states that he will cover the heavens and darken the stars, the moon will not shine and all the luminaries in the heavens will be darkened when Egypt gets extinguished. Jesus, of course, stated that there would be signs in the sun, moon and stars and the powers of the heavens would be shaken. The 6th chapter of Revelation uses even more identical phraseology as is found in Ezekiel.

Presently, the two antagonistic forces allied with the republican form of politics and economy and the imperial, financiers’ scheme for domination, are locked in a final struggle for supremacy. The light of Bible prophecy indicates that the tyrants will win out and the democratic, republican form of government will be swept aside.

If view of the coming crash of the greatest nation the world has ever seen I have composed a brief video, entitled: A Dirge for America

When I look around the world, there is no power that could beat (militarily) America.
It would have to be subjugated / taken over from within.

When Will the End Time King of the North Appear On the World Scene?

“And I saw another wild beast ascending out of the earth, and it had two horns like a lamb, but it began speaking as a dragon.”—Rev. 13:11

To date the Watchtower has not yet identified the end time king of the north. Concerning the appearance of this king, the Society tells Jehovah witnesses not to speculate as to its identity in these last days. In order words the Watchtower is blind and unable to discern apocalyptic prophecy.

The first wild beast that John saw ascended out of the sea. He describes this beast as having “ten horns and seven heads, and upon its horns ten diadems, but upon its heads blasphemous names.” The blasphemous heads represent the religious component of Babylon the Great and the ten horns represent civil authorities. However, before this composite beast comes out of the sea, one of the seven heads undergoes a healing process. This is why John said “I saw one of its heads as though slaughtered to death, but its death-stroke got healed.” It is at this point in time that this composite wild beast rises from the sea of confused humanity. Then “all the earth followed [it] with admiration.”

To date no nation or group of nations has met all the specifications given in Rev 13. Therefore, the seven-headed wild beast has not yet made its appearance on the world scene; neither has the wild beast with horns like a lamb ascended out of the earth. Therefore, contrary to the Watchtower’s teaching, the so-called Anglo-American world power is not “the dominant horns of the unusually fierce wild beast,” neither is it the head that suffered the death stroke.

At the time John penned this vision, Rome was the dominant world power, which subsequently transformed itself into the Roman Church centered in the Vatican. It was this head that was wounded when the Pope was exiled by the French army in 1798. Thus the sixth head, Vatican City, will play a significant role when the composite beast comes up out of the sea at the onset of the tribulation in terms of taking the lead on the world scene in this time of global distress.

The idea that the Anglo-American king represents the head that has already suffered a death stroke or will yet suffer a deadly wound in the future is inconsistent with the ordering of events presented in Revelation 13. So it is out of the question that the Anglo-American king will morph into the 8th king. They are entirely two different entities. One comes out of the sea and the other comes up out of the earth. They have no resemblance with one another.

The wild beast with lamb-like horns does not come from any preexisting empire. That is why John said it comes out of the earth. All nations [including England and the United States, the so-called seventh world power] will be made subject to it. The eighth king is the same king of fierce countenance mentioned in Daniel 8:23 and the king of the north of Daniel 11:40 that will appear in time of the end, during the great tribulation, after the demise of the American king of the south.

As people and nations fill their cup of iniquity, spurning Jesus’ redemptive sacrifice, they are allowing the Devil to take away Christ’s daily intercession as God’s High Priest on behalf of mankind. (Daniel 11:40) Effectively, Christ will move away from the golden altar of incense. Consequently, the land will vomit its inhabitants out, as God will then allow this 8th king to flood the land--that is the whole earth. –Daniel 11:40; Leviticus 18:25.

When the “incense vessel” is hurled to the earth, God’s judgment in the form of seven trumpets will commence. (Rev 8:2-6) Later the seven bowls judgments are poured out undiluted, culminating at the war of Armageddon. The first four trumpet blasts brings about the great tribulation and creates the condition that brings about a crisis world government, the seven-headed wild beast and subsequent appearance of this 8th king or lamb-like beast that comes out of the earth.

So, the unusually fearsome beast with lamb-like horns, the king of fierce countenance, the king of the north and the man of lawlessness all meet the specifications identifying the Devil as the 8th king and also as the star John saw that fell from heaven to the earth. John reports in Rev 9:1:

“And the fifth angel blew his trumpet. And I saw a star that had fallen from heaven to the earth, and the key of the pit of the abyss was given him.”

This “star” represents the Devil, not Jesus, as the Watchtower has wrongly concluded. (See Isaiah 14:12) The fact that he comes out the abyss or out of the earth, substantiates that he is the same wild beast that John saw coming out of the earth, portraying itself as a lamb. However, when it speaks, its identity is shown to be that of the dragon. And since this second beast as shown Rev 13 controls and manipulates the first beast, John saw it from another angle as a scarlet-colored wild beast, the color of the great red dragon.

So the “fallen” star in the ninth chapter of Revelation is not Jesus. The Watchtower should discard the idea this fallen star is Jesus, the angel king of the abyss. This description does not fit Jesus. It fits the Devil. A careful reading of Rev 9 shows that this star whose name is Abaddon and Apollyon, Hebrew and Greek names for “Destroyer,” more aptly represents Nebuchadnezzar’s modern-day counterpart at the sounding of the fifth and sixth trumpet during the great tribulation, as it leads an army of locust-like invaders, similar to Joel’s prediction of the Chaldean when they executed God’s judgment against ancient Jerusalem and the surrounding nations.

Moreover, the “locust army” in Rev 9 is not Jehovah’s Witnesses engaged in the preaching activity. Jehovah’s Witnesses are more like sheep and innocent bystanders, currently being misled by a group of men among whom the devil has insinuated itself at the very top of the Watchtower leadership.

There is no need to speculate on the matter concerning the whereabouts of the king of the north. World-wide conditions and developments point to its future emergence as a global tyrannical world power, “the image of the wild beast.” It will take a world shattering event to occur to bring it out in full view, such as the unleashing of the "four winds" of the great tribulation. –Rev 7:1.

I look forward to hearing your dirge, when I go to the library or somewhere, as this computers sound card is not working. One question I have, and I hope it is alright to ask it here. With all the hype that is going on everywhere, I just read of many thousands of some people expecting Jesus to come back this spring, and really many are in expectation of his return. WHO is Jesus talking to today, that His arrival will be at a time that will not be expected, as Christ’s stealthily coming as a thief in the night? At a time those would think NOT to be the time?

Guest, keep in mind that one of the foremost features of the sign of Christ's presence will be the simultaneous appearance of many false christs and false prophets. So, right on schedule there are many such creatures now crawling out of their various holes and lairs. Foremost it seems to me that the Devil has the whole 2012 phenomenon set up for that purpose.

But as regards Christ comng at an hour his true disciples think unlikely, Jehovah's Witnesses themselves are inevitably in that situation since they believe that Christ's parousia has already begun. It is inconceivable to them that he did not come in 1914. So, the Watchtower has set up the entire organization for a jaw-dropping experience when Jesus suddenly arrives. Unfortunately many will be stumbled, as Jesus also foretold.

    January 17, 2011 | Registered Commenterwatchman

Watchman, I think you may be on to something about 2012, there is way to much hype about it, but are not JWs also expecting Jesus to come again, in visible power to set up the kingdom ? I know I would not think Jesus would come in 2012, just because of the whole Mayan calendar thing, and It seems a lot of other things have to happen first. What about the 3 and 1/2 years preaching in sackcloth, that alone takes us past 2012 or is there something I am missing? What is your take on it? I know that its all speculation., but I do not think it would hurt.

re: "Unfortunately many will be stumbled, as Jesus also foretold"

Just because someone is stumbled doesn't mean they're forever screwed does it?

The Apostles were stumbled on ocassion and picked themselves up again.
It seems like its just part of life, like going through a divorce or some personal crisis.
The key may be to never give searching and knocking.

    STONE :
The scripture in Rev 9:1 is easy to work out, as I recalled to you on a previous comment (other blog) am still
awaiting your reply to it....regarding Satan being thrown out of Heaven after Jesus' resurrection etc...what we
need to know is the "time frame" of these coming events...as we all know the chapters in Revela\tion are all
over the place as regards timing of event..

How many times are we going over the Gt ribulation, when we need to stay in the NOW to show the urgency
to the captives in the B-org, who mostly are comotosed....some startling NEWS to wake them up, in the NOW
would be good news, say what ? By the time we reach the part of the Tribulation when the 8th King rules,
our senses will have already been shocked to oblivion, IF we dont stay with the Word of God, by reading
OTHER bible prophecy...eg. Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Daniel etc until we get the WHOLE picture, & build up
our FAITH individually ..For when the HEAT starts to burn us, it will b too late ..!!

Thank you for your video, it brought tears to my eys & pain in my heart, for it has become obvious to all who
continually ask for Holy Spirit to give them the true light of Gods word & end time prophecies....
that we are "in it right now" ...the Lull B4 the storm....if you've ever been in a cyclone/hurricane or any earth shaking
event, ..its like God always gives us a warning....the sky changes colour in a magnifiicent way, the air and the
vibrations in every living thing ...its awesome , in hindsight but frightening at the time..

How do we prepare ourselves in order to gain the strength to help others.....the time is NOW.

Thank you for your daily videos, altho some important ones I have missed, & can you give a link to them ?
The massive work you have done in the few months since I discoveredyour website last year, makes

    A Reflection by the sea

"Keep yourselves in the love of God."
Jehovah God is the essence of love, he says, but he is love. Not that I have to make effort to deploy, he is. It is clear from (1 John 4: 8) "God is love."
So we can not stand with folded hands before the biblical text (Jude 21) that says: 1:21 keep yourselves in the love of God, awaiting the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ for eternal life.
As God is love in essence, us who have worked to leave the old personality we must preserve God's love in our hearts, so we have the mercy of Christ, who published the decree of the trial of Jehovah God. We will show mercy because we have moved on, which is the way to the Father. No wonder he is the re-shining example of how to keep the love of God.
Please invite open our Bible (John 15:10): 15:10 If ye keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love.
First, for Christ was more important to be near his father, preserve their love, abide in my love. He knew perfectly well it is his only son. Second, as for us, imperfect people who sometimes find it hard to express love and maybe some time in life to have doubted the love of God, Christ gave us his model to remain in his love because he sees that, has seen the Father being the way to reach it.
Look like Jesus Christ keep the commandments of the Father: He was obedient to the family that the Lord entrusted to care, was forgiven when he forgave a woman caught in the very fact of adultery, he taught humility always directing all to the Creator and died in a Post to pay the price for our sins.
In conclusion of this discussion ask: Do I keep in me the love of God?

Could it be that the bible really doesn't have anything to do with current events? Could it be that this book doesn't contain the prophetic information you think it does? I don't need prophecy to tell me the world is screwed up and that the fat cats on top want to tear down our nation states and make us all slaves? I heard these things years ago and not from JW's. From freedom fighters like Alex Jones and David Ike who have no religious affiliation! How do you think the JW`s and others know about these prophecies? Not the bible! By observing past and present events! And the UN certainly isnt trying very hard to keep there plans of world domination secret! Its just beneth the surface. All you need is access to their archives! And you have to be a registered NGO of the UN to do that! Hmmm. Theres nothing knew under the sun people! Including 2012! Relax!

I can assure you that YES, the JW's do get their information from the Bible. I am not a Jehovah's Witness myself, but everything I've learned, they taught me and it is in the Bible. Alex Jones and all those guys are to distract people with fear and worldly knowledge and to keep them preoccupied from reading their daily scripture. People who listen to them do not have the "peace flowing like a river" and the assurance, and security that only Jehovah can offer. Even though I am not a JW, even I can recognize that this website is a "false prophet."
