Woe for the Earth and Sea

When the Deepwater Horizon drilling platform exploded on April 20 and sank to the bottom of the Gulf of Mexico, killing 11 rig workers and severing the mile-long riser pipe connected to the wellhead, as horrific as that disaster was, it did not initially seem to have global ramifications. However, two months into the ongoing gusher on the floor of the ocean it seems that the localized catastophe has the potential to impact the world in far-reaching ways.
Reports are surfacing now that British Petroleum’s efforts to plug the gusher by pumping high pressured “mud” into the wellbore has inadvertantly resulted in cracks opening up in the seabed itself – releasing even more oil into the ocean. (YouTube - Undersea feed) (Doomsday – YouTube)
Not only that, some researchers have warned that the runaway well cannot be capped and the velocity of the out-spewing gas and oil, along with the tons of sand, rock and earth carried with it, is having an eroding effect upon the wellbore itself – a sandblasting effect, if you will – with the potential to completely blow out the wellhead, resulting in a volcanic-like release of the entire cavernous, reservoir of petroleum, which some estimate to be the volume of Mount Everest. If that were to occur the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean would be turned into dead zones in a short period of time. But once the oil had been released, then seawater, under the tremendous pressure a mile down, would jet into the cavern, where the Earth’s temperature may exceed 400°F, causing the water to boil and turn into steam, expand and explode, thereby collapsing the seabed above the cavern and creating a tsunami that could reach 80 feet high. That is, of course, the worst-case scenario. Other less dire scenarios are equally unpleasant, however.
British Petroleum officials are now saying that the well may not be plugged until Christmas. And with steadily upward-rising estimates – now between 30,000 to 60,000 barrels per day gushing into the Gulf waters – not only is the crude fouling the delicate marshes and pristine beaches of the Gulf coast, but shortly it will enter the swiftly moving currents of the Gulfstream, which would carry the oil and deadly dispersants up the Eastern seaboard of the United States and into the rich fisheries of the Grand Banks in the northern Atlantic Ocean, and beyond.
Given the potential of the ongoing disaster to bring ruination on a scale heretofore unknown to mankind, it is time to consider the Deepwater Horizon disaster in the context of Bible prophecy.
As thinking persons well know, sometimes small, seemingly insignificant events, can change the course of an individual’s life or even the trajectory of the entire world. Take, for example, the assassination of arch Duke Ferdinand in August of 1914. Because of the political situation that existed in Europe then, with all of the nations having foolishly entered into treaties with one block or another, all it took was a single bullet from an assassin’s pistol to set off a conflagration now known as the First World War.
Of course, Jehovah’s Witnesses believe that WWI was the indirect result of Satan and his demons being cast down from heaven, as foretold in the 12th chapter of Revelation.
For a certainty, the ouster of the Devil and his horde of demons from heaven will initiate an unprecedented period of calamity for both the Earth and the sea. Immediate upon his coming down to earth in rage, according to the Bible Satan will be allowed to vent his wrath against Jehovah’s people for 1,260 days.
Being the unseen ruler of this world, Satan’s ouster will have an observable knock-on-effect on the world below. This is why Jehovah's word says: “Woe for the earth and the sea because the Devil has come down to you having great anger knowing that he has a short period of time.”
The 11TH and 13th chapters of Revelation indicate that concurrent with Satan’s overthrow from heaven, his earthly political apparatus will suffer a deathlike experience and afterwards it too will wage war against God’s servants for 42 months – ultimately killing them. However, at the end of the 42 months – that short period of time – Satan and his earthly political beasts are taken completely off the earth. That is when, according to 11:18, God will bring to ruin those who are ruining the earth. Satan’s short period of time, therefore, is revealed in Scripture to be three and half years.
But as regards the ongoing disaster in the Gulf of Mexico, it is not here being stated that this catastrophe is in any way the fulfillment of the apocalyse's, “woe for the sea.”
Having stated the disclaimer above, however, if the worst-case scenario transpires and the great oceans of the earth are ruined with oil, then, April 20, 2010, may well mark the occasion for Satan’s overthrow. But if not, the ongoing tragedy may at least provide a preview of things to come.
In any case, the British Petroleum disaster has brought into focus another aspect of prophecy. As I have already written at some length regarding the identity of the prophetic kings of the north and south and the significance of the iron and clay; their being reflected in the modern day Anglo-American dyad; specifically, the king of the north being manifested in the form of the British Empire, that is to say, the monetary, financial empire of the City of London, of which British Petroleum is a key asset. So, what we have developing now is really a pushing between the private financial interests nominally headquartered in the City of London, but manifested also in the parasitical Wall Street banking operation, which is basically a franchise of the City. This is the great dynamic that is in operation presently. As the system collapses bankers are demanding with greater forcefulness their proverbial pound of flesh; and individuals, families, municipalities, states, small businesses, and entire nations are being forced to deliver.
British Petroleum merely typifies the arrogance, audacity and cavalier attitude of the agents of the Queen’s Empire who are charged with plundering the planet and looting the peoples of the world. Although private financial interests have corrupted the leadership of the nations, the democratic institutions, or what is left of them, still retain the power to regulate and even expropriate the assets of the Empire, were they to be sufficiently aroused. To ensure that that does not happen, though, the Empire is determined to destroy the nation-state system once and for all. It will do so by means of war and financial collapse. This is the great dynamic at work presently.
It may well turn out that the explosion of the Deepwater Horizon was the detonator for the collapse of the global system of things. Time will tell.

As world conditions deteriorate we can be certain that the world is going to be thrown into a bedlam of nightmarish distress such as mankind has ever experienced.
The Gulf oil crisis if not abated soon could spell disaster for large portions of the world’s population. But right now it may be viewed as a prophetic sample of what is to come in terms of the hardship people are going to be experiencing worldwide.
The U.S. is equipped to deal with the crisis better than any other nation. It could have prevented this oil disaster from developing in the first place, had it not been for the fact that the leadership of this country has been folding their hands, laughing and partying, while the Constitution is being relegated further and further underneath piles of senseless and rubbish deregulatory measures.
The people of the U.S. ought to be ashamed of their senators and congressmen that they have sent to Washington and other law-making bodies throughout the nation. It is as though they are no more provisions to hold governments responsible for their gross lack of insight, as they trash the Constitution that would enable them to deal effectively with problems even before they crop up.
They have forsaken wisdom, and as a result we have been experiencing poor and mediocre legislations that have been eating away at the very foundation of this country, allowing for tugs to run our financial institutions and the halls of congress. What a pitiable state of affair!
As in the days of long ago the word of God reverberates in our time, through the prophets. For example, concerning Egypt, the description of which fits the United States today, God said through Ezekiel:
“This is what the Sovereign Lord Jehovah has said, ‘I will also cause the crowd of Egypt to cease by the hand of Neb•u•chad•rez'zar the king of Babylon. He and his people with him, the tyrants of [the] nations, are being brought in to reduce the land to ruin. And they must draw their swords against Egypt and fill the land with the slain. And I will make the Nile canals dry ground and will sell the land into the hand of bad men, and I will cause the land and its fullness to be desolated by the hand of strangers. I myself, Jehovah, have spoken…. the pride of her strength will actually be made to cease. As for her, clouds themselves will cover her, and into captivity her own dependent towns will go. And I will execute acts of judgment in Egypt; and they will have to know that I am Jehovah.’” --Ezekiel 30:10-19.

"...but BEFORE ALL THESE THINGS people will lay their hands upon you and persecute you...
This to me insinuates that Gods people (those that bear the reproach of Christ) will experience tribulation before these things occur, namely the "GREAT" tribulation occurs.
Is trying to attach these prophecies to whats happening in the world today a wise thing?
Is the "truth" about Christ being hauled before the governments and authorities of today?
Maybe i've been asleep and need to wake up.

PRETRIB RAPTURE POLITICS
Many are still unaware of the eccentric, 180-year-old British theory underlying the politics of American evangelicals and Christian Zionists.
Journalist and historian Dave MacPherson has spent more than 40 years focusing on the origin and spread of what is known as the apocalyptic "pretribulation rapture" - the inspiration behind Hal Lindsey's bestsellers of the 1970s and Tim LaHaye's today.
Although promoters of this endtime evacuation from earth constantly repeat their slogan that "it's imminent and always has been" (which critics view more as a sales pitch than a scriptural statement), it was unknown in all official theology and organized religion before 1830.
And MacPherson's research also reveals how hostile the pretrib rapture view has been to other faiths:
It is anti-Islam. TV preacher John Hagee has been advocating "a pre-emptive military strike against Iran." (Google "Roots of Warlike Christian Zionism.")
It is anti-Jewish. MacPherson's book "The Rapture Plot" (see Armageddon Books etc.) exposes hypocritical anti-Jewishness in even the theory's foundation.
It is anti-Catholic. Lindsey and C. I. Scofield are two of many leaders who claim that the final Antichrist will be a Roman Catholic. (Google "Pretrib Hypocrisy.")
It is anti-Protestant. For this reason no major Protestant denomination has ever adopted this escapist view.
It even has some anti-evangelical aspects. The first publication promoting this novel endtime view spoke degradingly of "the name by which the mixed multitude of modern Moabites love to be distinguished, - the Evangelical World." (MacPherson's "Plot," p. 85)
Despite the above, MacPherson proves that the "glue" that holds constantly in-fighting evangelicals together long enough to be victorious voting blocs in elections is the same "fly away" view. He notes that Jerry Falwell, when giving political speeches just before an election, would unfailingly state: "We believe in the pretribulational rapture!"
In addition to "The Rapture Plot," MacPherson's many internet articles include "Famous Rapture Watchers," "Pretrib Rapture Diehards," "Edward Irving is Unnerving," "America's Pretrib Rapture Traffickers," "Thomas Ice (Bloopers)," "Pretrib Rapture Secrecy" and "Pretrib Rapture Dishonesty" (massive plagiarism, phony doctorates, changing of early "rapture" documents in order to falsely credit John Darby with this view, etc.!).
Because of his devastating discoveries, MacPherson is now No. 1 on the "hate" list of pretrib rapture leaders who love to ban or muddy up his uber-accurate findings in sources like Wikipedia - which they've almost turned into Wicked-pedia!
There's no question that the leading promoters of this bizarre 19th century end-of-the-world doctrine are solidly pro-Israel and necessarily anti-Palestinian. In light of recently uncovered facts about this fringe-British-invented belief which has always been riddled with dishonesty, many are wondering why it should ever have any influence on Middle East affairs.
This Johnny-come-lately view raises millions of dollars for political agendas. Only when scholars of all faiths begin to look deeply at it and widely air its "dirty linen" will it cease to be a power. It is the one theological view no one needs!

The thrust toward the implementation of a new world order goes hand in hand with the proliferation of corruption, which will take mankind into a whirlwind of unmitigated violence and mayhem beyond comprehension.
Mankind is being lulled and conditioned methodically to accept behavior patterns that are detrimental to our well-being.
It is as though a mass hypnotically-induced trance has been foisted upon people, who are now unable to determine their right hand from their left.
Disorientation has set in deep in our collective thought to the extent that we are numbed in terms of setting our paths straight.
We go about our daily routine with a carefree attitude as though everything is normal when they are not, as the enormity of the problem we face is insurmountable.
In our quest for knowledge we have come to a point of exhaustion that is now taking us in a downward spiral into a hellish nightmare of untold misery.
The nations have become ripe for the taking by an empire that will come out of nowhere as it pounces upon an unsuspected world in ways reminiscent of a leopard pouncing upon a helpless prey, devouring it instantly.

An interesting report on Maxkeiser.com (Report No51, June 15th 2010) Mike Ruppert talks about his new fim "Collapse" He talks about peak oil, how all fiat currencies are doomed, how collapse will start summer 2010 leading to end of Industrial Civilizations. Well it looks like 2012 may be more to it than it first appeared. Satan has corrupted every religion in the earth and has used the same symbology as found in the Bible in all the religions of the earth to confuse everyone.
He definitely knows when the millenialel reign of Jesus starts (but not armageddon), So it is quite possible he has planted the 2012 date for everyone to believe all the false messiahs and christs to appear - who will save the earth (all religions have some type of end of the world expectation). But we at least know that it will only be when the Sun and Moon darken that the real savior of mankind will show up.
(Luke 21:25-28) 25 “Also, there will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earth anguish of nations, not knowing the way out because of the roaring of the sea and [its] agitation, 26 while men become faint out of fear and expectation of the things coming upon the inhabited earth; for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 27 And then they will see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 But as these things start to occur, raise yourselves erect and lift YOUR heads up, because YOUR deliverance is getting near.”
Looks like the symbology in Revelation may be more literal than we all imagined.

2 NOT TO become easily unsettled or alarmed by the teaching ALLEGEDLY FROM US—whether by a prophecy or by word of mouth or by letter—ASSERTING that the DAY OF THE LORD HAS ALREADY COME.
3 DON"T let anyone deceive you in any way, for [that day WILL NOT come] UNTIL the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness [a] is revealed, the man doomed to destruction.
4 He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God's temple, PROCLAIMING himself to be God."
That "Day of Rebellion" is Satans "short period" of time to shine as Lord and saviour over the whole earth bringing a form of "peace and security" to those who desperately seek relief from tribulation.
Those that are decieved will be those who didn't have a love for the TRUTH about God and the Christ and thus God allows an operation of error go to them so they get to believing the "Lie."
Only those knowing their God (the God of Truth) will prevail and act effectively.

So, all prophetical actions are to be looked for, and found WITHIN God's people during the period of "latter days"
so, NO political government or organism is to be involved here !
I agree , there are many parallels that may be observed between the literal content of the prophecies and political events occuring in the recent times , or during history , and I myself asked WHY did God write this way His Bible ?
And I found that to His worshipers He tells that He wants "worship with Spirit and with truth",
while for the rest which do not OBEY ,and consequently do not love the truth , God is sending to them ...

... to believe what is false ... WHAT is this.. false ?
It is exactly to associate the political and national and commercial facts or events (of this world) to prophecy , and drawing conclusions through "private interpretations" declaring that that is the truth !
The ones believing this are found already in "darkness" regarding truth !
