    Towards Civil War

A few years ago it would have seemed absurd to even consider this topic, but as the apostle Paul said, 'the scene of this world is changing.' It is indeed.

Civil war is not that uncommon in the world, but save for the Civil War of 1861-1865, for Americans civil war occurs in faraway places such as Sudan, Rwanda and Yugoslavia. But since the big financial crash two years ago and the election of Barack Obama – the first African-American president in history – a new dynamic has been set into motion.

On the one hand, millions of people have lost their jobs and their homes. On the other hand, Wall Street has had a full recovery and is enjoying outrageous profits, primarily because taxpayers are paying the bill. In a recently released report of the top 25 hedge fund managers all of them made over $1 billion.

One hedge fund manager pocketed a $4 billion jackpot for himself.

Meanwhile, the economic misery index is redlining for the average family. Municipalities and states are bankrupt. They're resorting to greater and greater austerity; laying off workers, cutting services, shuttering programs for poor children and elderly citizens. Los Angeles, for example, is proposing shutting city agencies two days per week. Where I live in Royal Oak, Michigan, the city is laying off nearly half of their police and firemen. No doubt the thieves, robbers and arsonists will be happy for that.

Perhaps if the nation were not being driven into bankruptcy the election of Obama would not be having such a polarizing effect. But as it stands presently, Obama is seen as a socialist who wants to communize the country. And the right-wing radio incendiaries that dominate the airwaves are fanning the flames.

Since the election of Obama militia groups and white supremacists have gained recruits. It would appear that there is a vast underground army preparing for the war. And they are armed to the teeth. One extremist group in Michigan thinks Barack Obama is the antichrist of Revelation and they have drawn up battle plans.

Elected officials have been spit upon and called racial slurs, their offices vandalized; and some have been threatened.

EIR has issued a public warning that the lords of London may seek to have the president assassinated in order to detonate an explosion of black-against-white civil war, in an attempt to topple the institution of the presidency, to be replaced with a military dictatorship; this, in order to prevent America and the nations from asserting their sovereignty by placing the bankrupt financial system into receivership. The mafia-like financiers intend to do the foreclosing, by putting the nations under their own dictatorship! "A hard master." That is the underlying dynamic that is in force at the present moment in history.

Elsewhere throughout the world similar conditions exist. Greece is on the verge of a social explosion. Violent anti-government riots are sweeping Kyrgyzstan. Drug lords in Mexico are engaged in a most violent war with rival drug thugs; daily killings are a common occurrence.

Previously I have written on the interpretation of prophecies regarding ancient Egypt applying to the United States of America at the coming of Christ, or as Isaiah 19:1 words it: “Look! Jehovah is riding on a swift cloud and coming into Egypt.”

It is significant then that Isaiah 19:2-3 states the pronouncement of Jehovah against Egypt: “And I will goad Egyptians against Egyptians, and they will certainly war each one against his brother, and each one against his companion, city against city, kingdom against kingdom. And the spirit of Egypt must become bewildered in the midst of it, and I shall confuse its own counsel.”

No one knows the day of hour, but certainly the situation is ripe for a nation-rending social explosion. All it will take is a spark. Perhaps an assassin’s bullet; maybe an act of terrorism, like what occurred on September 11th, 2001. Time will tell.

This is scary , and of course true christians do not take up arms or put their trust in them . I can see where this could happen. Its another form of mind control where those involved beleive that this is what is right , but in reality they are just more puppets used to bring about the evil agenda!

    April 7, 2010 | Unregistered Commenterpeaceable

Are you serious? "true Christians do not take up arms or put their trust in them." You are partly correct but not fully. What would you do? Run away and ALLOW your family to be harmed because you think that Jehovah does not want you to defend your family because you might hurt someone? Your joking, right?

As Jws, we are not to participate in protests, demonstrations, and the many forms of societal unrest (of any kind) especially those which require or mandate violence etc. We, as Christians, must not be friends with the world nor participate in politics, or other forms of lawlessness and the list can go on and on. Certainly we as Christians do NOT put our “faith” in this system of things, the government, and any group of mere humans, any war machine, any firearm or army of soldiers. All of this should be clear to those that are awake and paying attention. Not really a question for those that have knowledge and a basic understanding of “the truth” –so to speak.

Many JWs have fallen asleep when it comes to being aware AND prepared! How many fellow JWs have read and understand Proverbs 22:3? All because you have some general supplies put away for future use does not mean you are putting faith in yourself or man in general. Perhaps many should even move away from areas of anticipated violence be it from the population in general or the coming assault on the public from government tyranny.

It is best to avoid confrontation when ever possible and always try to “be peaceable among all manner of men.” I dare say that Jehovah expects the head of the house hold, --the husband—to protect his wife and family. I mean, should he do nothing while his wife and or family is being attacked, raped and generally terrorized? Of course not! Jehovah and his Son, fully expect every human to do everything within their human abilities to protect and provide for their family, loved ones and of course even fellow brothers and sisters. If you see and recognize the bad things ahead, don’t kick back and take it easy being presumptuous thinking that Jehovah will take care of you.

YOU must make every effort to do your best for your family. You never test Jehovah and take things for granted! You don’t walk out in front of a speeding truck or car thinking that GOD is on your side and he will protect you, do you? Well, as with all things use common sense and apply Proverbs 22:3.

Unless I am directed by almighty GOD to sit back and allow evil to take place against me and mine, I will do what I have to do to the best of my abilities and training to protect my wife and my family. Why you may ask? Because it is the right thing to do! Can any JW prove me wrong? To do anything less would be despicable and grossly reprehensible to Jehovah’s creation and without love or compassion of any kind. What will you do?

I could go on and get deeper into this subject but why? You either understand, or you don’t.

Yes anyone with a pea brain would protect there families from random acts of violence, that’s a given.
But when Babylon attacked Jerusalem what were the orders given by Jehovah through Jeremiah the prophet?

“This is what Jehovah has said, ‘The one continuing to dwell in this city is the one that will die by the sword, by the famine and by the pestilence. But the one going out to the Chal•de′ans is the one that will keep living and that will certainly come to have his soul as a spoil and alive.’ 3 This is what Jehovah has said, ‘Without fail this city will be given into the hand of the military force of the king of Babylon, and he will certainly capture it.’”

In this case discretion was definitely the better part of valor!
And it is exactly this situation that will face all of Jehovah’s true witnesses!
Jesus said the tribulation will be of such great proportions that if it was not cut short no flesh would be saved!

Personally some preparation for natural disasters and unforeseen occurrences is great reasoning. But honestly having some food supplies and a shotgun under the bed will not preserve anyone thru the tribulation ahead.

    April 8, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterBrian Omdahl

Its a comment I think most understand.

    April 8, 2010 | Unregistered Commenterpeaceable

Amazing that Brian and Peaceable don't get it!

Now Brian, you said "But honestly having some food supplies and a shotgun under the bed will not preserve anyone thru the tribulation ahead." Other than you, who said that? Is that what you believe? No other person said it! You must be fixated on one thought!

IF more JWs (if you are really one) would take the time to read through the fine print and do some serious thinking and RESEARCH without the Borg filtering all things, you might see a change for the better.

But that is OK. Too much casting pearls before the swine that just want to argue.

You have a nice day and remember to pray!

I am posting under this blog the following letter I emailed you a few minutes ago in regards to your response to Crosscheck's subject on Requirement for Salvation on Youtube to supplement your above article entitled Towards Civil War. The time seems to be fast approaching when nothing will matter for a lot of people but the salvation God has offered mankind through Jesus. Here it is:

    04/08/10

    Hello Robert:

With all due respect I think that you are heavily sedated by the Watchtower's doctrine. It is as though everything you have written about their "operation of error" may not be errors after all. I have been listening to Crosscheck lately on Youtube on the subject of salvation. He makes a lot of Bible sense.

I think that the question you need to face is, "How does Jesus view the Watchtower's teachings"? Once you have satisfactorily find the answer to this question, it will open a new vista for you in terms of the salvation that comes through Christ alone. It is almost as though you are joining in the calf worship you have so adamantly spoken against.

I do not think that Crosscheck is promoting lawlessness. On the contrary he is promoting faith in Christ as the root of salvation. The workers of lawlessness that Christ will reject are the goats he will find in all religious denominations including the Watchtower organization.

In fact all nations will be gathered before Christ during the tribulation when he will separate people from one another. By the 1260th day of the tribulation he will have separated the sheep and goats. Likely, during the millennium the judgment will continue under favorable conditions when the dead are brought back to life systematically.

During the tribulation people's religious affiliation will not be a factor in determining their salvation. It is going to boil down to faith in Christ ALONE. Jehovah will not despise a crushed or humble spirit. Take a lesson from the evildoer. Jesus favorably heard him and promised to be in paradise with him. Along this line of thought we may take note of Jesus' parable of the prodigal son.

Humans have a tendency to judge one another. It is no wonder the world is in such a mess and things are getting worse. We do not realize that faith in Christ is at the root of our salvation anymore than we can't see that love for God and neighbor is the antidote for all our social ills.

This is how the devil is misleading the entire inhabited earth and blinding the minds of unbelievers that the good news may not shine through. He could not blind Jesus to the truth that God is love, and so Jesus was able to shoulder the enormous debt of mankind in order to save us.

    Claude,

We as humans have a right to judge people by their actions. That is why we have a Court of law and why people make decisions about associations with this person or that person. We just don't and can't judge anyone from what is inside of their heart. ---simple enough for me to understand. Do you?

Why are you judging Richard King? ...and YES! That is exactly what you are doing!

It is a funny thing but again still individual choices that YOU as well as many other people only see and understand what makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. ..What a shame! or is that intentional filtering of the message. Just look at how you and others have ignored the facts and have only pushed a private agenda.

Be good and keep pushing "point,-counter point." It is all useless in the end.....

    It’s Amazing

What are you talking about? I’m lost ( I’m sure you would agree with that)
But now the question –Is not it the Christian (if you are Christian) obligation to clue me in, and show me the error of my thinking. Please do!
I’m not even sure what your upset about, really!

    A Bro…

Please allow Br. Robert King to answer for himself. I am sure he would agree with my assessment of his rhetorical answers to Br. Crosscheck, who is telling the truth about salvation coming through Christ alone in harmony with the Bible. So I am not judging Br. King. I am only pointing out the obvious and reasonable conclusion that Crosscheck is advocating about the requirements for salvation.

Crosscheck says that faith in Jesus is at the root of our salvation. Robert King says he is inadvertently promoting lawlessness. How can one who advocates faith in Jesus promote lawlessness? This is a Watchtower mindset. It is no different than the sacraments of Catholicism as practiced mostly during the Dark Ages.

A JW told me once that “everybody who is not going from door to door and preaching the good news of the kingdom is living in sin.” This is religious pride and arrogance. The fact of the matter is “all have sin and fall short of the glory of God.” And if someone says he has no sin he is a liar. Humanity needs a savior. We can’t save ourselves even through our good works. That does not mean that good works are unnecessary. They are an essential component of the Christian faith.

In fact many people naturally produce good fruits even if their religious leaders are misleading them. So Jesus will soon claim his sheep from the hands of false prophets or shepherds that are mistreating his flock and leading them astray. Robert King knows this.

This line of thought is in his book, which I read and examine from time to time. He has a lot of things right. However and with all due respect, Br. King seems to be capitulating under the Watchtower’s banner of religious pride and arrogance. I hope that’s not the case because the Law of Christ that he is advocating does not consist of unnecessary religious burdens as prescribed by the Watchtower and many religious organizations.

You have only to look at history to see the path that religion is taking. No matter how well intentioned they are, they all seem to go astray. It is no wonder that Jesus is going to shake the whole world and the desirable things (his sheep) must come in. That shaking will take place during the great tribulation and will culminate at Armageddon, at the opening of the 6th seal.

I have been listening to Crosscheck lately on Youtube on the subject of salvation. He makes a lot of Bible sense.

Claude what are you talking about? How does crosscheck make sence?

It will open a new vista for you in terms of the salvation that comes through Christ alone.

What sensible Christian would debate that salvation comes through Christ!

Crosscheck contended that all we needed was faith in that truth “salvation comes thru Jesus Christ and we believe it” that’s it!!!!

Robert contended scripturally that there were requirements that went along with this belief.
How was Robert wrong? He was not, there are requirements coupled with the act of acknowledging Jesus is the way in order for forgiveness of sin to take place.

A challenge for Claude, Brian and concerned others.

Bottom line your points please, being very specific in 100 words or less. After this, move along and get on with your life. There is no sense in splitting hairs and for those of you that have so much knowledge, please make your own website and publish your lifelong research and reap your reward and recognition. It seems that you are lacking your sought after reward from the public and your local KH.

April 9, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterA Real Watcher

    Real Watcher,

Serving Christ is not about seeking reward from the public and the local KH. It's about loving God and your neighbor. Upon these two commandments the whole law and the prophets hang, as Jesus noted for our benefit. I believe that the human race will get there. Christ did not die in vain.

At the Second Coming he comes with his reward for everyone. The sheep will go on to inherit everlasting life. The goats will go on to everlasting destruction. Br. King loves Jesus and crosscheck loves Jesus. What they are saying on Youtube complement one another.

They'll be scratching their heads when Jesus saves them and they will wonder about this requirement for salvation. Actually they both have it right. It's just that Br. king is too focus on the Watchtower, which make it a little difficult as to where he stands in terms of God's love for mankind in general.

Br. King needs to completely rise above the Watchtower's mindset, so as to see the big picture of salvation. The Watchtower has a lot of good things to say, and perhaps that's what Br. King is focusing on. So I could be wrong about my assessment of things.

    Claude,

I (and other people) have done some research and we see a pattern with you. On almost every article written by Richard King over the past several years, YOU have posted a comment. Why is that?

Do you have some type of "attraction" to another man or this man? Mr King is married and is not interested. Are you cyber stalking him? Or do you have some other motive? Seriously, what is your need to follow this man from website to website, from video to video and always comment?

You must not work or obviously have a meaningful personal life. You must be alone a lot. Are you a person that is trying to reach out and look for some type of relationship?

Why not go out into the field ministry door-to-door and talk about your beliefs? Do you have your own website? Seriously, please answer all of these questions so the rest of us can be assured that your intentions are good.

    JDell,

My comments speak for themselves, though not always accurate. I am a Bible student. I have been associated with Jehovah's Witnesses since the early 70s. I chose to post comments on this website because of its relevancy to Jehovah's Witnesses. I also have a zeal for God since I was six years old. You should voice your cowardly concern to the owner of this website, instead of corrupting it with your hedonistic and shameful line of reasoning.

    April 9, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterClaude

I would like to know who this Richard King is. Is he possibly the brother of Robert King? Surely you're not getting the names mixed up, are you?

    April 9, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterEiben Scrood

The names Robert and Richard can be interchangeable. However, on legal documents one must be chosen over the other as is on the original birth certificate. Most people would choose one form or name over the other. It would be a matter of choice. I do believe it is obvious the specific person everyone is referring to.

Claude, you said "You should voice your cowardly concern to the owner of this website, instead of corrupting it with your hedonistic and shameful line of reasoning." I think it is time for you to take a break and relax a little. Besides, you really did not answer any of JDell's questions now did you?

In High School, evolution was the only subject I didn’t like in biology. One day after what appeared to be a boring dissertation on that subject, I asked my teacher in dismay, where did the sun come from? He stared at me briefly in the eyes, turned around without saying a word. I stood there for a moment as he walked away with his briefcase in hand.

Then it dawns upon me that he might be an atheist or perhaps his profession insisted that he acted as though there is no God. I think that this teaching of evolution has turned a lot of people into atheist. As a result some go on living as though there is no God.

Because of this very teaching of evolution, many of my friends in High School gave themselves up over to loose conduct. This goes to show the importance of having a sound biblical understanding of God’s will for mankind.

Somehow I was spared from some forms of corruption while attending High School. I think that’s because my parents took me to church regularly. If I didn’t want to go to church I could expect my dad to come out swinging his belt. Running or hiding was no option. I had to go to church.

When I got baptized at the age of 15, my dad was very happy. I could see him smiling when I stood in front of the congregation speaking about my baptismal experience. What a happy man my dad was that day! I will always love him.

Even now I am trying to figure out the love my father exhibited toward his children in terms of the sacrifices he made for us. I still do not understand it, even as I find myself making sacrifices for my children. He did it with ten kids. That’s twice the number of kids I have, of which I am still struggling with three.

What about our heavenly Father, Jehovah? Aren’t we glad that he is struggling with us? That should bring a smile to our face. Thus as God’s representative Jesus could say:

“Come to me, all you who are toiling and loaded down, and I will refresh you. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am mild-tempered and lowly in heart, and you will find refreshment for your souls. For my yoke is kindly and my load is light.” --Matthew 11:28-30

If everyone heeds this counsel there would be no civil disturbances anywhere.

    Watchman

I think that you have an issue with the Watchtower, possibly stemming from the fact that you have been excommunicated. You have not yet resolved that issue in your heart, and so you have resorted to picking on a defenseless person like me and other unfortunate souls.

You must feel pretty powerful when you delete my comments, don’t you? Why not delete all of them? Better yet if you cannot manage the spirit of discontent that has overtaken you, shut down your website and return to the Watchtower. But you can’t do that either. So you are sort of lingering in limbo, seeing who you can pick on.

Humble yourself and stop taking matters into your own hands. At this point your spiritual well-being matters more than pushing buttons and deleting comments. In all fairness you should delete everybody’s comments.

Best advice, however, keep on posting your articles on the e-Watchman Post. Direct everyone to post on the DB. They'll get there as you regain your composure and sense of balance over the Watchtower's unfair excommunication policy, which on the other hand may not be a harsh measure since they are concern about keeping peace in the congregation.

    Claude,

I am appalled by your comments to Robert King. I don't have to defend him ( I could ) but I am sure he is already doing so. While you dig your hole and show the viewers how you react to appropriate discipline, your so-called JW-Borg type response is true to form. If you don't get what you want, how you want it, and if it does not make you feel righteous, boy do you strike out with the power of a weightless feather.

Robert King is one of the FEW that have maintained his dignity while taking a stand for what IS true and correct. Not anything he made up like so many others. He wishes to do the right thing. Not go along with those that are doing wrong just so he does not ruffle any feathers. He has been punished and ostracized in retaliation; not because what he is saying is wrong. He dared to ask a question and give a truthful answer. You can't do that in a CULT. And that is one of the reasons why JWs are considered to be a cult by millions of people.

Jehovah EXPECTS us as free thinking and free willed humans to use our brains and THINK and not follow orders from any group or people like a mindless robot.--you know a CULT.

All of these points have been gone over time and again, it is a fruitless endeavor to make any attempt to explain anything to people that REALLY DO know in their heart about the things and TRUTH that Ewatchman puts forth on his websites.

Furthermore, the Brothers and Sisters in the organization that sit back and do not take a stand for TRUTH are blood guilty and are not only true cowards, but the worst hypocrites deserving of Gehenna just like the angels that took a stand against Jehovah millennium ago. Yes! I make this observation because if you are so complacent in life where you fail to help, and do the "right thing" and only offer up the excuses without any valid reasoning, you and any other person is not worthy of the life force given to them at conception.

There is something many of you SHOULD keep in the back of your mind and that is, you never really know for certain who or WHAT exactly is giving you this message and many more.....take heed while you can..

Since June 12, 2001 you have had some shall we say, "overly self-important thoughts" which have alienated you from not only the association of "selected others," but also from family. Not everyone in your little click will give you the facts. The truth is hard to accept, but I assure you that IF you set in front of a mirror with your human eyes closed and ask yourself what is your problem, you will instantly see the answer when you open your eyes. Hint, you will see more than your reflection.

Claude, if you haven't guessed by now, nobody is comparing human mortals with Angels. I feel insulted by your comment. But then, that is a human emotion and is not to be my burden.

The punishment of course, as severe as it is, was used to get the point across about the severity of what the final punishment will be for those that fail to act and turn a deaf ear and a blind eye to the innocent crying out. Yes, Jehovah hears them and has dispatched those that will witness these atrocities and when given the command, will ....... well, I speak too much. Think as you wish, thoughts I have already seen.

From now on, just dream. You will be given only what you need. Nothing special like you have thought. Remember, "....you never really know for certain who or WHAT exactly is giving you this message and many more.....take heed while you can.."

Interesting Claude. I agree that all these events have to be future. The Watchtower's interpretation of these time periods as having already occurred is ridiculous.

Sir, you talk about all these things, the US invading Iran, the global financial system about to crash, nothing is happening, you have all these theories but none of them have come true.

Hi D. Maybe you are not paying very much attention to world events, but the war with Iran is pretty much a given. Probably going to launch it in the autumn. As for the financial system, $23 trillion has staved off collapse, for now.

Here is a good way to look at how big a trillion really is.

1 million seconds takes 12 days to lapse

1 trillion seconds takes 31,000 years.
