What Will the New Year Bring?

Typically the last week of December is a time for not only reflecting upon events of the closing year, but also for contemplating the possibilities and personal aspirations for the coming year. Aside from the revelry of the occasion, there are the traditional New Year’s resolutions and sober or even frivolous predictions of what is to come.
While the Watchtower does not make predictions as such, it certainly cultivates expectations among Jehovah’s Witnesses of the things to come based upon their interpretation of Bible prophecy. Aside from the beginning of the great tribulation and the actual world-ending war of Armageddon the Watchtower Society has led Jehovah’s Witnesses to believe that virtually all prophecy has already been fulfilled – basically in the interval from 1914 thru the Second World War.
Since the creation of the United Nations following the last world war Jehovah’s Witnesses have come to anticipate that the UN will suddenly initiate the eradication of organized religion, which is depicted in the book of Revelation as the destruction of the harlot by the beast. For the past couple of decades since the collapse of the Soviet Union the Watchtower has repeatedly stated that the great tribulation will begin when the UN carries out this deed and that is what Jehovah’s Witnesses expect to occur as the next fulfillment of prophecy.
My work over the better part of the past decade has been to overturn the deeply entrenched 1914 invisible parousia teaching; replacing it with the fresh expectation of the authentic return of Christ in the immediate future.
Consider where we stand from another angle.
The Watchtower Society teaches that the vision recorded in the 12th chapter of Revelation regarding the kingdom coming to power was fulfilled in 1914. Jehovah’s Witnesses believe that the Devil and all of his wicked angels were hurled down to the earth then. As a result, the Devil pushed the nations into the First World War, which is believed to be in fulfillment of the sign of Christ; namely, nation arising against nation in warfare. There is no reason to dispute the fact that, as the wicked god of this world Satan is the unseen instigator of all war. But, the question is: Did the First World War mark the actual beginning of the rule of Christ’s kingdom?
According to that same twelve chapter of Revelation after the Devil is hurled down he is allotted 1,260 days to persecute Christ’s followers – the remnant of the seed of the woman. Significantly, the eleventh chapter of Revelation foretells that the holy city associated with the anointed witnesses of God will be trampled for 42 months and the two witnesses will similarly preach for 1,260 days. Afterwards the beast that arises from the abyss will conquer and kill God’s witnesses. Immediately afterwards God’s kingdom takes complete control and brings to ruin those who are ruining the earth.
Now, the 13th chapter of Revelation depicts a seven-headed beast that has one of its heads slaughtered with a death stroke, but it miraculously revives and goes off in a rage to ultimately conquer and kill God’s holy ones.
The Watchtower has led Jehovah’s Witnesses to conclude that these events are relatively anticlimactic, insignificant and irrelevant; since it is taught that the beast received the sword stroke and revived during the First World War. Supposedly the holy ones were put to death then too. But this is a myth – an artfully contrived false story.
The Watchtower is correct, though, in so far as making the connection between the sword stroke upon the leading head of the wild beast with the ouster of Satan and the demons. The discrepancy lies in the fact that there is no reason to believe that the Anglo-American head of the beast suffered anything remotely close to the sort of catastrophe envisioned in Revelation. Now consider the present world situation.
Since the recent collapse of the so-called mortgage-backed securities bubble centered in the United States, which brought down venerated Wall Street titans Bear Stearns and Lehman Brothers investment houses and required the unprecedented issuance of $16 to $24 trillion just to keep the global financial system from completely disintegrating, there has been a gradual dawning realization that the system in its present form cannot endure.
Some politicians and economists expect the Euro to collapse in the early part of 2011 due to the sheer mass of debt that must be refinanced in the immediate days ahead. As mentioned in the previous blog entry, a blowout of the Euro would have an immediate knock-on effect upon the financial institutions in America and the Dollar itself due to the several hundred trillions of dollars in derivatives obligations securing the debt of the hopelessly bankrupt system. The inevitable crash of the financial system will have the very real potential to bring down the political system too. If that occurs then that would spell the end of the democratic system and the certainty of the imposition of corporate dictatorships in place of sovereign nations. These are not really even hypothetical ‘what ifs’ any more.
So, at the beginning of 2011 there are distinct rumblings that the Anglo-American dominated system is about to come crashing down. It is not an unrealistic expectation. And it is exactly what has been foretold in prophecy and it will mark the beginning of the end for this old world; otherwise know as the conclusion of a system of things.

We should not suppose that the seventh head of the composite beast is the leading head representing the United States and Great Britain; neither should we conclude that the beast that ascends out the earth also represents this dual world power. The reason being, both beasts are separate entities. They are not related to each other. It is ludicrous to take the seventh head or any of the other heads of the first beast and then graft it on the second beast.
The fact of the matter is if the United States is to survive, it must uphold the Constitution’s provision for a credit system of regulating its money supply by doing away with the London and Wall Street centered monetary system of usury and speculation.
The economic downturn currently being experienced by the nations of Europe and the United States is not an indication that the seventh head of the composite beast is about to suffer a death stroke and then in short order rise as a tyrannical world power which will then subjugate the whole world. Rather, it is an indication of the failures and lack of leadership in the United States senate to uphold the Constitution.
As a result the road is being paved for the rise of a dictatorial fascist state, as tension, anarchy, wars and revolutionary uprisings escalate to an all-time high— inroad to insanity indeed!
When John stated that he saw one of the heads of the first beast as though slaughtered to death, he was alluding to the sixth head as represented by the Roman Empire during his day. This Roman Empire later transformed itself to the Roman ecclesiastical church, which dominated Europe until 1798. Thus the persecution of the woman has been an ongoing reality, following Christ’s resurrection and ascension.
This means that Satan was ejected from heaven at a point in time immediately following Christ’s resurrection. The Devil could not possibly have any voice or representation in heaven following Christ’s resurrection. It was then that the dragon began to persecute the woman in earnest, Stephen being the first Christian martyr. –Joh 12:31; Ac 7:59
“The two wings of the great eagle were given the woman that she might fly into the wilderness to her place; there is where she is fed for a time and times and half a time away from the face of the serpent.” This was a period of 1260 years between 538 A.D. and 1798 A.D. (Rev 12:14; Da 7:25)
Since then, the dragon has been reorganizing his efforts, as can be seen, for example, through the Lateran Treaty. Then he will wage war with the remaining ones of the woman’s seed, who observe the commandments of God and have the work of bearing witness to Jesus, for a period of 1260 literal days during the great tribulation. –Rev 12-13

Glad to hear from you. Wow, the area you are in sounds pretty mean! Reminds me a little of the movie 2012. We are in Colorado. You are welcome to put down roots in our state --which is a little higher ground from sea level. I wish I could send supplies and a task force down your way to help people --I REALLY mean that. I hate to see people suffer from things that are beyond their control. --- in reality, I just don't want to see anyone suffer period.
The "Good News" can always be told and held on to. It is difficult when times are tough and everything is failing. We have a land of plenty in North America. Of course, the government and bad people need to leave the good things alone for anyone to continue to live free and be safe. But Our country is changing and people are too consumed by sports, drinking, and such. It is amazing what a person can openly "see" in the daily lives in this society. Many people just don't appreciate anything and are UN-thankful for many things and take-for-granted way too much! Oh well, enough of me complaining. I know I make a lot of mistakes everyday!
The short video you watched was shot by us. Mainly pictures at different phases and set to motion with music and I put in the Psalms 113:1-6 at the end for a final touch. We thought it turned out well. But that night we were up until four-thirty in the morning. Headaches (real pain from lack of sleep, etc) lasted a long time from that photo shoot! The night was cold, and we had a lot of battery problems as the cold and heavy work load drained them quickly.

Just looking at the big picture and the past atrocities of government, mankind and the "fallen ones." You, of all people, should know that the human race is "being managed" by nefarious beings to some end game.
Do I wish death on others? No, of course not. But what does it take to wake people up from their self induced ignorance to the world around them? There is so much more going on than meets the eye! All people have to do is take the blinders off and do the research! But more often than not, people prefer to be cattle lead off to slaughter than try to make a difference.

I sense here a resemblance to the occasion when Moses, after striking the rock causing water to flow, then proceeds to tell Gods people that it was from himself, that this came.
As annointed, being directed by holy spirit,
the research and findings, particularly in matters of revealled truth that we present, are truly not possible

Yes this is going to put a real strain on the Australian economy, no question about that.
The Australian economy was starting to pick up, or so the politicians claimed anyway, but alas all this bad weather is putting a strain on the coal industry which supplies almost half the world and also it will put a strain on Australia's ability to supply it's population with adequate food, etc, as a lot of crops have being damaged and even wiped out.
The grazing industry also have being effected.
So we will just have to wait and see, just how serious it will be to Australia's economy in 2011.

You have to make a distinction between doing well economically and financially. China is doing well economically. They are building a nation. However, financially they are tied into the London-run financial system, so in that respect they are vulnerable. Admittedly, though, even though China is part of the doomed global system they will probably fare better than most when it collapses.
As far as the the identity of the kings of the north and south, it is simply a matter of putting the pieces of a puzzle together. That is what I have done.
PS. Russia did not split up. The Soviet Union did. Russia stayed intact. But, yes, it is quite possible that the US will be broken up. That was the intention of the British empire during the Civil War. It is still the intention of the Empire to destroy the United States.

We should probably assume that if China doesn't collapse then their currency will step up to the plate as the worlds reserve money. Right?

Well, Germany is an economic power for sure, but it is tied into the Euro system and is prevented from developing militarily because of restrictions imposed upon it after WWII. The deal, is, Germany, like China, has what is called and export-driven economy. They prosper by selling things to other nations. But, if the US collapses who is going to buy all those BMWs and all that junk China makes?

The deal is, the throne of the beast does not reside in China. London is the official seat of the empire. That empire is primarily a monetary empire-- although London's junior partner, the US, as a military power too. Since 1971, when Nixon broke up the fixed rate exchange system, London has controlled the value of every nations' currency, including the US Dollar, through various mechanisms. London is not going to squander the power it has acquired over the centuries and allow a nation like China to become the dominant power. That is why they are choosing sides and gearing up for WWIII, in order to take China and Russia down.
Well if it's true what your saying then WWIII must be awefully close because it appears China is becoming more powerful by the day. Their military has advanced considerably too, and the Chineese must know the game being played by the London financiers. Geez this is a scary thought.

Everything is as it should be and as it was before. Put your faith and trust into Jehovah! All of us, regardless of our placement in life, must face the same trials and tribulations when the time comes. But to ease the fears and stress, by all means talk about it and support each other.
Jehovah has provided guidance and protection as he sees fit. More things will be revealed by the Holy Spirit as time goes on to many people. Until then, prepare as best as you can for what little provisions we have amongst ourselves.
There is no need to perish for lack of preparedness or because you didn't know bad times were coming.
May Jehovah's will take place in Heaven, also upon the Earth! Praise Jehovah and honor his only begotten son for through Christ we may live! Amen

The tribulation will not consist of violent destructive acts of nature. There are a series of events that must occur first before the tribulation occurs. That is why John saw four angels holding tight the four winds of the earth. They are instructed not to harm the earth or the sea or the trees, until Jesus seals the servants or “slaves of our God in their foreheads.” --Rev 7:3
In Revelation 8:2 John reports seeing “seven angels that stand before God, and seven trumpets were given them.” This verse breaks away from the previous verse, which says that when Jesus “opened the seventh seal, a silence occurred in heaven for about a half hour.” Jesus opens the seventh seal after the thousand years are over. This is when the scroll of life which he previously took from the right hand of the Father is finally opened. (Rev 5:7; 20:7-12) Therefore, in Rev 8:2, John is transported back before the tribulation begins, and it is at this point in time he reported “the seven angels with the seven trumpets prepared to blow them,” as shown in Revelation 8:6.
The tribulation will not start with destruction of false religion as we imagine. So here are the sequences of events leading to the tribulation:
1. Seven angels are given seven trumpets
2. The first four angels are told to hold tight the four winds of the tribulation until Jesus seals the 144,000
3. The golden incense vessel is filled with the prayers of all the holy ones. God accepts their prayers. Then the angel fills the incense vessel with fire from the golden altar and hurled it to the earth. And thunders occurred and voices and lightnings and an earthquake
It is at this point that Jesus opens the fourth seal and the four angels release the four winds of the tribulation, with the sounding of the seven trumpets and later the pouring of the seven bowls “undiluted” upon the wicked. So during the tribulation God’s judgment will come in two phases, the seven trumpets and the seven bowls.
The seven trumpets are designed to awaken a rebellious world of mankind to the reality of Christ’s incoming kingdom, much like the Feast of Trumpets prior to the Day of Atonement in ancient Israel provided for the yearly cleansing of the temple. It is during the trumpets that the 144,000 as the “mouthpiece” of the Two Witnesses will be preaching in sackcloth for 1260 days, allowing for the separation of the sheep and goats. –Rev 11:3; Mat 25:31-46
This separation or concluding harvest ends with the seventh trumpet, at which time voices occurred in heaven, saying: “The kingdom of the world did become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will rule as king forever and ever.” --Rev 11:15
Contrary to the Watchtower’s teaching, the seventh trumpet did not sound in 1914, the reason being, there is no proof that the first six trumpets sounded before the expiration of the so-called “times of the gentiles.”
In conclusion I can think of no better way of preparing for the tribulation other than humbling ourselves before God. That would most certainly require that we dispose of some or our long-held beliefs, which are in fact holding us in spiritual captivity or bondage in a makeshift spiritual paradise.

I am talking about the practical matters of shelter, water, food needs as are required on a daily basis. If bad things happen where these things are no longer available, it is best to have a RESERVE of such items to help people along. NOT talking about anything else as I already covered those "spiritual" matters in my first post above as well as many, many others.
We naturally conclude that most people on this website have the sense to put Jehovah first, etc. and then build their "cache" around reality based survival needs when nothing else is available to sustain life...

Perhaps we need to understand the magnitude of the tribulation to come upon the whole earth. Global war, death, famine, food shortages, disease epidemics will be everywhere. The death toll will run into the billions. The world's infrastructure will be in shambles. Food and water will be rationed. Finally, people will not be able to buy or sell unless they take upon themselves the 666 mark of the beast.
John says that “when [the Lamb] opened the fourth seal, [he] heard the voice of the fourth living creature say: “Come!” And [he] saw, and look! A pale horse; and the one seated upon it had the name Death, And Ha’des was closely following him. And authority was given them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with a long sword and with food shortage and with deadly plague and by the wild beasts of the earth.”
We may even be looking at the real possibility of people’s homes being raided under a tyrannical police state, confiscating water and food supplies. (Zep 1:13) This will force many people to prostitute themselves by taking on the mark of the beast in order to survive. –Rev 13:4
Billions more will die by the sounding of the sixth trumpet. (Read Rev 9:13-15)
Here’s the grim reality:
“If anyone [is meant] for captivity, he goes away into captivity. If anyone will kill with the sword, he must be killed with the sword. Here is where it means the endurance and faith of the holy ones.” --Rev 6:7-8
With these thoughts in mind concerning faith and endurance, we may be able to understand why Jesus was led into the wilderness immediately after his baptism in the Jordan River. After forty days and forty nights of fasting, he was tempted by the Devil to turn stones into bread. In all, his faith was tested and he successfully rebuffed the Devil. “Then the Devil left him, and, look! Angels came and began to minister to him.” --Mat 4:11
Would we be given in to fear by hording food during the tribulation, the food that perishes? Would we be in a way turning stones into bread? You decide! (Read Mat 10:28)

Well can tell YOU that the NWO have just taken out my home state of sunny Queensland, so my invitation
to visit us after our summer, in March still stands....only its a muddy sodden mess throughout the state.
Some strange "super cells" suddenly dropped metres of water on a drenched land causing inland "sumarmi"
and mass flooding which took out out source of food the riverside markets at Rocklea and $100,000 of food
floated away.. the Super cell over the CBD in Toowoomba sent the surge down through our farming Lockyer
Valley & strangely the Dam almost exploded, due to the amount of water (meters) over the catchment area
Coincidence you say,,,,,? not looking at the whole picture over the past few months, (2 yrs) this happens
in our Cyclone season, the middle of summer & peoples are shell shocked to put it mildly, sitting in their

Thanks for your kind words and empathy, fortunately in my part of the world (Qld) we were not tossed thrown
about as those taken by surprise by the "super cell" up in Toowoomba, leading to the inland Tsunami, it was all
downhill from there to Brisbane....The great Dam built to protect the capital City was at full capacity weeks before
the 100yr flood, strange that the powers controlling the release of the overflow, which should tunnel to another
dam,, only happened 3 days B4 the "super cell"...Why the NWO has turned its attn to Australia, is obvious, as we
have lived too long in "the lucky country" ..
Easy to figure how the world is becoming a desolate place, when the massive flooding, strangely in most countries
at harvest time, causes such loss of agricultural farming future.....resulting in food shortages in one place after

Sort of makes me kinda regret not having travelled to the countries of my travel dreams, never mind, can still try
